This was a good video! Clear and consicely presented. Except for their garage door opener Meross devices have been largely unreliable for me so I am glad this has worked well for you. Their customer support has been pretty poor as well. Even so, looks like a cool product.
As someone who just installed baseboard heaters as more of supplemental / backup heater for a build where woodfire is primary these are very welcome surprise to the market. Before these the only Smart thermostats I was aware of were the Mysa.
I've bought six of those (nice rebates on Amazon) but after installing two, I'm actually considering returning the other four back. Why? Because I just found out how they work: they use a simple relay (you can clearly hear it) when it's time to turn on the baseboard, and not a Triac. The nice thing about Triacs (used in Mysa thermostats) is that they can control the Amps sent to the baseboard, so it can power it at lower power to maintain the temperature in the room steadier, instead of fully turning on the baseboard when the setpoint is reached. This Meross thermostat will wait until the temperature reaches the setpoint, minus 0.5, then turn on the relay and fully power the baseboard, instead of maintaining a nice lower amp power like the Mysa thermostats. And you hear all those "relay clics" when it turns on the baseboard, but you don't on the Mysa. The reason I was going to switch to Meross, is because the version of Mysa thermostats I got are quite old (6 years) and they have a tendency of "not respond" in Homekit from time to time. Now my choice: Network stability and nicer app interface with Meross but noisier and less confortable average room temperature, or Mysa with no relay and nicer overall temperature, but less network reliable.
I'm torn because this looks like a decent product for my needs but also I've heard there's reliability issues with it as well. Do you know of any "baseboard-heater"-style smart thermos that run at high-voltage that also include a summer mode for A/C functionality in the summer?
Is there anyway to setup home assistant so that you can see multiple homes by swiping through the dashboard? An example situation would be monitoring a vacation home from the home assistant dashboard you have set up in your primary residence.
Three-fingered swiping in the Mobile App switches between homes. Otherwise you can use Remote Home Assistant (github.com/custom-components/remote_homeassistant) to link the two homes together, then you can set up multiple dashboards

Does it need to be on a separate circuit from other heaters? Or can it be on the same circuit as other heaters connected in parallel with their designated thermostats.
It dims down to a preset level. I leave it full brightness in my bathroom, but you can set the standby brightness to zero so it is off unless you tap it.
I just recently ordered a couple of Mysa thermostats because my province offers rebates on Mysa and Sinope thermostats. Any idea how they compare to the Meross?
$99.99 on Amazon today. Has a $20 coupon available at this moment to bring price down to $79.99. Low voltage control does not appear to be an option at this time.

Mine is on a separate circuit, so I'm not sure. You could try to contact them?

Overall, I think Meross is better for the price, and has a much better app. Mysa feels and looks better on the wall
