A theory I love is that Sophie lured Rosemary in the backstage since in the second tape, Sha says “Sophie, where am I” when introducing one of the rooms and that the flash of Sophie in the uniform with Bon in the back is what Rosemary saw in the back

As someone who has gone through AA and has listened to many an horrific “absolute lowest point” story, I can completely see how that could have been how it turned out. I mean, I never came across anyone who did something THIS horrific, but…
that is a very good theory, and would kinda make sense since in canon Edd and molly Died but Felix didnt.
and also that whole " you killed them! you crashed the car! " thing would probably be felix's mind making him THINK that they did die on impact.
Fun fact:
Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is canon to the Walton universe and yes that includes all the animatronics we know and love. The only difference is that in this universe nothing went wrong there, no Purple Guy, no bite of 87, nothing.
So it appears that regardless of which animatronic themed restaurant becomes a melting pot of vengeful spirits one of them always will. It’s an absolute point in time if you will.

Since there's been another upload from Martin, I'm gonna try answer some questions for anyone who wants to know.
1) What happened to Jack?
Jack found out what Felix had done and in a drunken panic, Felix killed Jack. He put Jack inside of Bon and left it at that.
2) What happened to Rosemary?
Rosemary became depressed after her children's and her husband's deaths. Felix was the only person she felt she could talk to after Linda moved away, and so when she finally pieced it all together, she went to find Jack. Jack, inside of Bon, lured her backstage, dismembered her and stuffed her inside of Sha.
3) What happened to Felix?
As far as I know, nothing. He isn't confirmed to be dead and is listed as an acting member of the Bon's Burgers franchise.
4) What's the deal with Susan?
Susan says she's alive, because at one point she was. When she was stuffed into Banny, she was still alive. The reason that she say's she starving, and the reason for the rabbit is starving section is that she starved to death inside of the suit.
I'm sorry if I got anything wrong, please feel free to correct me. I'll happily answer any questions.

Walten files works because from the get go it was established to be about Family, about these 2 owners of the place, and had a decent amount of character who just existed without being connected to the family. Fnaf only started adding the family elements 3 games into the series, and then went through and started retconning almost every small element to be contrived into the family dynamic, making the entire thing a mess and, like i said feel massively contrived and trite.

I don't think that Susan is STILL alive, I think that she died from starvation: the rabbit is starving. The message was from that long period when she was alive stuffed in the suit, mangled and suffering.
I don't see how someone can die of starvation instead of dehydration.

It's completely possible that Jack, knowing he can't get out of Bon is actively searching for & stuffing his family members in an effort to put the broken family back together
It would explain why 'They're beautiful' because then they'd be together with him and just like him.
@@TheJCHarkins2 The term of being 'beautiful' as being a robot is because the robots are beautiful. That's what I've learned. however your logic could also be applied, since Jack would likely see his family members as beautiful. He does seem to care about his family after all.

Came back from the newest episode and now we kinda know who the shadow man is and who is not possesing bon
when Felix crashed the car, he never really even checked to see if Ed and Molly were okay. Now yes, they could have been dead on spot from the crash, and yes they could have been still alive. Felix was intoxicated but I still like to think that he would've checked to see if they were breathing first. But- if Ed and Molly were in fact still breathing and still alive after the crash, then Felix just buried them alive.
I’m pretty sure Martin Walls, the creator, confirmed that Felix didn’t actually check for their pulses. Do with that what you will.

So this is the timeline ive been crafting for a long time, but still not 100% accurate, knowing that the series is still not complete. Enjoy!
But first, meet all the characters.
Walten Family
-Jack Walten (Husband)
-Rosemary Walten (Wife)

-Ed Walten (son)
-Molly Walten (daughter)
Kranken Family
-Felix Kranken (Husband)
-Linda Kranken (Wife)
Charles & Chris's role is still unkown.
Jack&Felix made Bunny Smiles corp based on their obsession of animatronic mascots. They build a mascot, named Billy, a Clown robot prototype (based on the older look of the robot). After that, the corporation was bought by cyberfun tech. With the help of a big company (cyberfun), they opened a restaurant chain called Bon's Burgers starring the showstoppers (bon&friends).
While all of this is happening, Felix's life is slowly going downhill. he became an alcoholic, and his wife (Linda) left him.
One day, some weeks before opening, Jack asks Felix to bring his two kids (Molly and Ed) to a school party. On the way back home, the three got lost. Felix was drunk. Shortly after, the car crashes into the woods, killing the two kids. Felix survives. Felix, confused and scared, buries the kids in the forest, together along with Molly's doll, called the Rocket Bunny. The two kids ends up posessing the doll. Jack, wondering where his kids are, histerically calls Felix. Felix didn't answer. Jack would then reported missing the next day, thought to posess the Bon animatronic.
Like for part 2, my fingers are cramping.

I've also fixed some innacuracies in this timeline. I haven't fully watch Bunnyfarm at that time. Im too scared.
Part 2 (FINALLY)
After Jack Walten's dissapearance, the animatronics starts acting weird. Days before opening, a technician, named Susan Woodings is called to inspect the animatronics. When she approached Bon, she was killed and later stuffed into Banny. Rosemary Walten, still looking for her husband, starts to hear voices telling her that her husband was in the restaurant. She followed the voices all the way to the backstage, where she was killed by Bon and stuffed in the Sha animatronic. The restaurant was succesful but short-lived. After the restaurant closed, all props, arcade machines, and animatronics are carried to K-9, a secret bunker located deep down in San Juana's Forest. 4 years after the closure, Felix attempted to reopen the restaurant in a different location (hence the relocate project). In order to reactivate the franchise, multiple technicians are called to the K-9 facility. Three technicians are called to help repair the animatronics. One of these is Ashley, who got too curious and enters the backdoor only to find Rocket Bunny and Billy. She found an old tape and plays it on Billy's tape player. The tape would play a birthday song before glitching out and then cites these names:
-Jack (Jack Walten, thought to posess Bon)
-Rosemary (Rosemary Walten, stuffed in Sha)
-Susan (Susan Woodings, the technician stuffed in Banny)
-Sophie (Sophie Walten, the last surviving member of the Waltens, and later the main character in Bunnyfarm)
-Charles (unkown, still unclear)
Not long after, Ashley got ambushed by Bon and stuffed in Billy. The other 2 would later escape with no success in the project while Ashley were reported missing.
Brian Stells, a brand new technician were called to inspect the animatronics. Brian would later chased into the woods only to be killed and mangled by Bon.
The relocate project was a failure. The fate of Felix after the failure is unknown.
Years after, Sophie was now 22 years old. She took pills to hide the trauma of the whole thing.
Sophie were playing a game made by Bunny Smiles called Bunnyfarm, recommended by her friend. She encounters multiple glitches which are making her long hidden memories flood back into her mind.
I hope MatPat would cover The Walten Files 4,5, and 6 before he retires.
I'm no longer afraid of the walten files. The final boss is the things I make up in my head.
Adding onto what Mat said at the end, I remember when I was little I hated anything horror! I grew up with a very religious family and because of that I was taught that horror is only about the evil, the monsters, and the cruel. Now that I'm older, I know better. Horror is about humanity, about resilience, about love in all it's forms, and what humanity does when faced with a hopeless situation. A quote from one of my favorite CZcams channels Cinema Therapy is when they say, "Ironically, it's often horror that has the best love stories." It makes us ask the question, "How far would you go for your loved ones? How far would you go for yourself?"

The non-canon stories definitely exist for a reason. While the actual events aren't part of the main story, there are probably hints im there. The mysterious house implies that Jack is a lot more sinister than the first 3 episodes implied. I feel like game theory hit the nail on the head with buzu's ghosts
I think that Felix is probably in Bon. Murdering the loose ends who would be looking for Jack, Edd, and Molly. I think that the spirits of Edd and Molly were around Bon because they were haunting Felix. I think the whole "they are beautiful now" is something a psychopathic Felix would be telling himself to cope/justify the murders. Also, the Billy recording/tape stating the 5 names was probably Felix either recording the names of his victims or keeping track of the loose ends (it was marked discard, which would track with it being incriminating for Felix). Felix being in Bon would also explain his absence because we don't ever get an answer to his fate. This is just my interpretation, and it may already be out there.
Something really freaky about the car crash is how when the kids are buried you can hear muffled sounds of breathing, implying that the kids were badly injured but not dead.

maybe “feeding” the animatronics at night is as literal as we think, just not the type of food we’d expect. you said yourself at 6:20 that chris sent bryan to the facility, and his inevitable death - perhaps this was always the plan? maybe he, or his remains, was eaten. playing into this theory could also explain susans story, following the pre established theory that she is the bunny that is said to be starving in the first episode (which explains how she was still “alive” in the suit, she somehow survived the attack but eventually starved to death despite being fed by the shadow man) this would mean that the food she is being offered is human remains, maybe she denied this and given no other options starved to death.
Shadow man makes me think of the raid shadow legends sponssor character from internet historian, which is also named shadow man.

Definitely something to consider! I think however, it’s important to note that currently Bryan is the only death that we know of that isn’t stuffed into an animatronic. Even with Ashley at the same facility, she’s killed and then stuffed into Billy the clown. So unless there’s more death be hind the scenes that we don’t know about yet (very possible!) I think it might be a different motivation behind the killing.
Fun Fact: It is confirmed in this universe that Fredbears Family Diner/Freddy Fazbears Pizza does in fact exist but its just a normal pizza place, meaning the events of the canon fnaf does not exist in the Walten files universe. Explained by Martin walls on a YT community post "I wanna Clarify, in the Walten Files lore, Fredbears/Freddy's opened in 1983, thats why it isn't mentioned, i also want to clarify that in this story Freddy's is a completely normal Restaurant, with no killings, Springlock accidents nor Bites. I think this theory is good overall but there are some things that just don’t check out. Firstly, I think that the message after susans death isn’t implying that she is still alive but instead ties into “the bunny is starving” from a previous episode meaning she survived initially but starved to death soon after. Furthermore I think its pretty undebatable that edd and molly are represented by rocket and the scene where bon is seen going insane with edd and molly around him is symbolic of jack’s grief for them,

I’ve been saying that edd and molly posses Bon because they want their family back together. I don’t think it was out of rage that they were killing people, instead, since they are kids and don’t understand death properly, they think that since they are dead, the only way to reunite with their family is if they die too. That’s why they want Sophie and this also would explains the glitches. It’s two souls in one body. I think that it makes WAYYYYY more sense than Jack killing his family when it’s been confirmed that he was a loving husband and father by Martin. The idea of two kids just wanting their family back together would be so tragic

And I once again come back to the point that Martin Walls has stated that Jack was a loving husband and father. My only nitpick in this theory is the part about the animatronics being fed and Susan’s stomach feeling weird, which doesn’t seem correct considering the whole, “the rabbit is starving, the rabbit must get the owners attention” bit. It seems to imply that Susan was still alive in the suit and instead of dying from her wounds she died of starvation or something like that
That, and her spine was snapped so that she couldn’t escape.
I still strongly disagree with the theory that Susan was stuffed in the suit and starved inside it. What I think happened was Bon attacked and paralyzed her like he did with Brian. We see the image of Susan, outside the suit, with her saying that she’s still alive but can’t move. I doubt she was put into the suit immediately. I think she was stuck in that room, over the weekend, with nobody there to help her. She then died of starvation or dehydration, after which Bon stuffed her in the suit. The stuff about her stomach feeling weird is probably just her hunger.
Also Martin himself confirmed that the voice at the end of episode 2 said “shadow man SEES me, when lights go off” so the whole thing about feeding is false.

Jack may have died and possessed showbear. There’s some evidence i.g showbear being the one to help Sophie remember what she repressed and the shape of Jacks face is the same as showbear, long with creepy smiles. The voices are also similar, but this is a CZcams thing so it’s probably the same person voicing two different characters. And a cutout or some form of real thing of showbear was shown in ep 2 so maybe it’s like rocket is to Edd and Molly, a toy made for her but also on some of the merch. In the trailer a voice can be heard saying “Edd and molly? They’re gone?” and it didn’t sound like jack, so I think Felix told Charles about the crash and got killed by Felix in the process of trying to report the death.

It isn't that the lore is too hidden, it's that the series has retconned itself so much that the clues don't fit together anymore. If you want your series to have deep and complex lore, or lore that is constantly being rewritten, then it needs to be spelled out very clearly. For example, think Lord of the Rings, Marvel, or even Thomas the Tank Engine. If you want your series to have hidden lore, then the story needs to be short and simple, with few plot twists or recons. Like the Walten Fills, Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared, or any one-off theory MatPat does. FNaF's problem is that it has a complex story AND hidden lore.
