Yup, and he also got me to make the amazing choice to watch this video right before bed. My sleep paralysis demon is gonna be pissed when my nightmares are about this video instead.
With all the different indie horror series MatPat has done over the years we're surprised that there's never been a Game Theory episode about the Cube Escape series. It seems like the kind of surreal horror setting with plenty of hidden lore that would fit right in with all the other spooky series these channels review. Also no haunted animatronics.
Cube Escape is so underrated. I played through all of them in like a week and it was such a surreal experience. Time to revisit the series!!
I’m surprised he hasn’t watched anything from Vintage 8. That channel has a BUNCH of different analog horror series that are all distinct from each other.

I'm honestly very happy for Battington to get some spotlight; Harmony and Horror is possibly one of the very few analog series that gets me off the edge of my seat. But I was also reminded that season 2 is only 3 episodes as of this comment.
If you want a different flavor of analog, try leafing through vintage8's work. They have some good stories.
I'm so glad to see Battington and Harmony and Horror get some more attention. In my opinion, it's a series that deserves the attention of Matpat.

This caught me by surprise. I’m actually glad you decided to do a Film Theory video on this series. Harmony & Horror has some intensely dark lore, and I’m so happy to see the ol’ MatPat diving in and dissecting the dark and twisted story that Battington has been working on.

Hey Mat, you should do a film theory on Mister Manticore’s analog horror series Monument Mythos. It’s really interesting and deals with alternate time lines, super natural creatures and you could make a couple good videos out of it hope you consider it 🙏🏾

Yeah, i actually remember seeing a video or two and forgot about it (somehow) even though it scared me pretty well, and that’s somewhat hard to do now. Not that I’m trying to make myself look like a badass, it’s just that hearing about dark stuff a ton sorta muffled out most of the surprise/gross out stuff when I do watch horror related content but stuff like that is next level

With spooky season around the corner again, I'm really hopeful that MatPat revisits this series.
That jumpscare got me good. Battington's VHS horror series definitely send a shiver down my spine, especially with that rabbit Walton
Should also take this time to mention that the kids name in the show is Andrew and Markus, with Markus being significantly more driven for the toy’s creation while Andrew becomes more resistant. Markus is also the kid with the dream about the Devil. It seems that there is a connection between Markus and Martin, and Andrew and Arthur.
I just realized their names start with the same letter as the toy making brothers
Yes! I was going to say this but i thought it could be in a sadder way. Perhaps Martin told Arthur about his dreams about the devil and Arthur didn't listen maybe he was trying to reach out but no one would listen.

First episode of Harmony and Horror i watched was the christmas one with the girl who got her jaw ripped off. Way to make an impression. I haven’t been that scared by a analog horror since the Mandela Catalogue!

The baby toy moving just made me laugh. It was so scary it looped right back around to being comical
there's actually a channel like this called "I can't sleep" that I absolutely ADORE. The gorgeous animation, the amazing concept and the uncomfortable soundtrack made me fall in love with it!! the main protagonist doesn't have a name right now, but I saw on another theory video about it that people were calling her "Nia."
Honestly, it’s really nice to see so many different analog horrors, with inspiration from seemingly the same place, but then it goes a COMPLETELY different direction. It’s fun seeing so many people see one interpretation, and then just blossoming into so many new ideas.
I watch analog horror religiously and this was the series that sparked my love of it. Thank you Battington for making it and thank you MatPat for talking about it.

I would love to see you do theories on Murder Drones, a series by Glitch Productions here on CZcams. There is so much potential for this show, and so much theory fodder, but it’s a shame to see it go unnoticed

I hope we will one day get a part 2 much like the Walten Files because this video is the most we ever got out of the Harmony and Horror lore. Plus if MatPat does keep making videos on it the we might officially get a full on piece it together timeline of the series. I am excited to see especially since Harmony and Horror no matter how many times I watch it still always gives me nightmares.

I really wish Mat would do a theory on Disenchantment. I already had a lead on something that bothered me in the show. It has to do with Bean's real mother and her plans with the devil. How she LET Bean trick her into marriage with him in her stead. It honestly such a good show, made by the same person that made Futurama so you know there are always little things some people don't notice at first and, the world building is just...chef's kiss. I know it isn't horror or kids dying but, I'm also sure Mat would love the break from so much murder. I hope some of you guy at least agree.

Honestly, I am still glad and happy to see that MatPat has really been starting to really theorize on other things not just being FNAF, but also things being related to it. Also Harmony and Horror was definitely a series that I was excited to see him theorize on just like when he did to The Walten Files, definitely a series of true horror mystery.

I binged it all tonight and I agree with your statement. The tapes are so easy to watch and get into all while forming questions and holding your interest. Season 2 so far is fantastic and I hope this series gets more and more love because it definitely deserves it.

I love whenever matpat does horror! Also I remember watching that part in gtlive where the puppet says, “my daddy loves me, he loves me so, even if, he beats me though.’ And having to turn it off because it was too scary!

I think you should do a theory on the “Vita Carnis” it’s a really good analog horror series, and I believe 8-bit Ryan reviewed the series, it also has great world building, and I would love to see a theory on it!

I’ve been DYING for Harmony & Horror to get some good attention! It’s criminally underrated’
As a recommendation for story's with hidden lore within narratives, I would sincerely recommend Nightmare Time by Starkid. The stories are about an hour long each so much longer than many analog horror's you've covered but it is rife with plot lines and endings I think you and team theorist might have fun decoding :)

I think we need a person like you to piece together the band Starset's narrative. They leave hints at comics collabed with Marvel, at the end of their music, in their lyrics, their website, their music videos and even wrote a novel (The Prox Transmissions)
So much lore, so fractured and not very easily put together.

I quite frankly am too scared to watch Harmony and Horror, but I love Battington's work (when I can stomach it). I appreciate theory videos because they let me appreciate the absolute genius of the content's creators without getting terrified by watching it alone at night.

I have been waiting for you to make this episode for ages because I am a huge fan of this series, one thing I am going to point out though is that there is no clown toy but it is rather a costume that Martin uses to then do his murders.

Runs out of the dark, u can see the toy or animatronic baby thing turns into an actual toddler when it comes out, and the toddler has 3 or 4 heads sticking out of its head some have a massive evil grin and ones upside down its so creepy and so easy to miss I'm glad I found it tho I'm sure others did before me.

Jack Stauber, lore, child neglect I think you'll like the story of Opal made by Jack! He has this kind of esthetic that I think is abstract and kind of like a poem. Also Shop: A pop opera I think is good to, it's also made by Jack. It's also as lore filled as Opal!

I’ve been working on a web horror series myself and sometimes I just like, fantasize about MatPat making a theory about mine. Happy for Battington for getting here
I never thought MatPat would be covering Harmony and Horror of all things! One of my favorite things to watch on here! I will never forget the first time I watched some of their vids a couple years ago. It gave me feelings of fear and uneasiness I've never felt with anything else I ever watched before. It's true horror in my eyes, that's why I love it so much XD I first found out about them through another CZcams channel I love called MostAmazingTop10, who mentioned a few of their videos.
Here's another CZcams series recommendation: I would LOVE to see you cover Meta Runner or anything by SMG4/GLITCH, two of my most favorite channels on here. There is a LOT you could theorize with those! 😁
