I also owned the series s first. And it was great. I then bought a series x. I have to say they did great with this beautiful console. Xbox is amazing.
I had it from Day 1 and 0 regrets. Microsoft really got this console right a complete 360 from the Xbox One launch. See what I did there 😎

Except for the shitty DRM that's on it. Couldn't play offline games when the Xbox outage happened. Wtf. MS must fix this asap
when i first saw the two consoles i thought the ps5 looked way nicer, but the xbox grew on me a lot. it looks like a mini PC.
As someone who owns a ps5 the xbox just looks so sleek and enamoring. And the controller feels so good. I used to own a 360 and then switched to PlayStation after for new gens. I’d get this if I could afford it

Just purchased the series X from the Microsoft site and an LG C1 OLED. Can't wait to get started. I really just bought all of this for RDR2. I have a gaming PC too with an ASUS RTX 3090 24gb card, but the Xbox is so easy to start up and just play. Very nice video, I really enjoyed the unboxing. Right to the point and all good info, nice job!

I’ve owned both consoles and they both great. I’ve also owned a ps5. I’ve definitely spent more time on the Xbox side this Gen. I’m more of an enthusiast and find the series x to meet most of my needs. The series s is a capable machine and I’ve said before I can’t wait to see what it does once developers start taking full advantage of it. For now I’m really enjoying my series x and all it’s goodies like fps boost, backwards compat and game pass! It’s definitely a pro consumer console made for gamers

@@funkdocdoppelganger7720 ps5 and series s yes. I held onto series x as it gives me that value that I can appreciate as a consumer. No regrets at all. I use to be a pc gamer and the thought of gaming on the console and losing out on the options of resolution or quality or possibly even both would make it hard to stomach but this generation regardless of what you’re on has definitely blurred the lines and that’s great for us!

OK. I just finally found one. Can you believe it? It took me until March 2022 to get it. They got 3 at Gamestop today and I got the last one. I never caved to the scalpers.

Got mine on the 15th of January with physical discs of - CoD: Cold War, South Park, The Division, FIFA21 & Killer Instinct.
Haven’t got the time to unbox and play it yet due to work and other family commitments that has me on the move from time to time.
Hoping you do more series X videos & talk about accessories & hacks you’ve learnt while using this awesome gaming investment.

@@danielmosinyi7163 Because he wanted to try something new, I've hopped between both companies myself because both keep having their ups and downs, the PS5 is extremely lacking for me right now so I'm probably just gonna sell it and get a series X until Sony starts doing good shit again.

Left PC gaming over this console and a 1440p gaming monitor. Does mouse and keyboard very well if that is what you like and even has a web browser but not as good as a pc in that aspect. Never would of done that in the history of man b4 this console and the series S is great as well...
Sold my series x to start pc gaming then sold my pc and got back into Xbox again 😂 great console even the one x can use mouse and keyboard it’s pretty damn good what you get for the money

Great video! Ive got my xbox series x coming tomorrow along a with brilliant 4k oled tv that supports everything you need as a gamer. Without copying and pasting the full title of the tv you can search for LG oled 4k C3 or G3. I have a 55inch coming but it can also increase and decrease down to the 40's in size. It supports 120hz/fps and gives things like freesync etc. Its branded as one of the best gaming tvs out there today.

Finally got one from best buy. So happy with the console
I was lucky enough to get it day 1. It's a great system overall. My only gripe is the lack of new gen games and ultra-wide monitor support.

If you want 4K/120 gaming without the OLED price, go for an LG Nanocell. I have the 65” Nanocell 85, which is the 2020 model. It’s got 4 HDMI ports, 2 of which are 2.1 ports. So I have my PS5 and Series X plugged into those.
It was sold out so often I just gave up and waited. Just ordered one from best buy, looking forward to playing it. I still have my 500gb xbox 360 in excellent shape and an original xbox one in great shape as well. The only thing I dislike about the xbox one is how slow the downloads are. I have a 75 inch 4k lg with 2.1 hdmi and an lg c2 42 oled for my pc monitor, should work great on both! The bundle i bought comes with console, 2 controllers, 1tb ssd and a 3 month game pass ultimate.

Bought an x a day ago. past few days I’ve been going to Walmart as soon as they open (6 am) and I’ve been finding plenty of series x’s. :)
I also own a ps5, quest 2, series s and x, switch OLED, high end pc, and hopefully soon steam deck to complete my collection.
My cousin found one for me and had to hold onto it while I was in the middle of a move and just found the time this past week to drop it off to me, and I'm loving every minute of it it's miles ahead of what I replaced it with (Xbox One S)
I have both the series x the series s and ps5 I love both consoles such a amazing leap forward
They all suck. If you want true gaming power get some Tiger handheld electronics games. They blow Xbox and PlayStation out of the water 💧

Don't be afraid of oled burn in. The oled tv's have settings to be safe against it. I recommend the LG oled c1. A c2 model is releasing this year. The oled puts out beautiful colors. Darks and brights.
If you have not gotten a TV yet oh, I just got mine the other day and it's off the hook with my Xbox series X. It is a Hisense u8g and it was only $999 before tax at my local Best Buy. I just bought the Hisense U7G for my Series X and PS5 and I do recommend that TV is really good for the price!

The fact that you get at least RTX 3060 GPU power AND an excellent BluRay drive AND the new , faster M.2 loading tech. (DirectStorage) is amazing for $500. And gamepass is the killer deal. I'm seriously thinking of selling my RX480 for a profit and getting this. (Powercolor Red Devil 8GB triple fans) only paid $100 over a year ago.

@@KingTode neither is the Xbox series x really and 8k is laughable. These are 2k 60 consoles that can be upscaled to 4k. Which is fine
@Silly Goose these console’s are not powerful enough to be native 4k in most cases. Depending on the game of course but normally it’s being upscaled from 2k.

TCL makes a 65in 4K HDR10+ 120hz refresh rate beast for $699. Just bought it and it is perfect for showing off the XSX's true power. It blew my PlayStation friends' minds.

I have both console and a nice gaming pc and I love the game pass and being able to download games on both pc and my Xbox. I have always been more os a PS and like the controller better but the series X has been amazing.
With the Sony 2021 oled lineup now having vrr i highly recommend the a80j. The only drawback is that it doesn't have dolby vision gaming but it's definitely the better tv compared to the competition. Also Sony's processing is insanely good and makes my switch games look almost native 4k.

@@okeinobennett2804 Free Sync is the same thing as vrr. And Gsync is just nvidia's version of it. While there's subtle differences, it's not enough to notice in real time situations.
The only drawback not having dolby vision gaming? Seriously? You clearly don't know what you're missing out..
@@AlexRodriguezzz I've used dolby vision gaming and it wasn't really all that different to hdr10 which is basically just open source hdr. Dolby vision is only implemented well in a few games and that feature alone shouldn't be a decision factor in your next tv imo.

To your comment about the UI, the UI I miss was from the 360 days, the old "blades" look. It was simple & elegant, I'd like for some version of that to come back. It should've included a USB to USB C cable for pairing the controller (I always have an issue pairing the thing via the batteries). Beyond that I like it so far too. Liking the controller much more then the old Xb1 controller, simply on the Dpad, it's MUCH easier to do those circular & semi circular moves for fighting games.
The system is easier to get now, I just got mine a few days ago via M$s store.
Bet the next gen xbox will be the Xbox 720
For the series s what kind of monitor do you suggest I use and a fairly cheap one cause I want to use a decent monitor that's not too big and not too expensive but able to handle the speed of the series s?

I have a LG C1 65" Oled, it looks amazing, cyberpunk 2077 at night with neon signs is beautiful.

I feel that. I spent some early mornings trying to catch the stock as it reups. Even got to the card info screen but it told me they were out of stock last second. Getting one online was impossible.

You might be better off with a 1440p hdmi 2.0 monitor at 120hz. Less expensive and more fps since it’s easier to push 1440p vs 4K.

Try to get a LG OLED on sale. Either the current 2021 C1 or last years CX. LG OLEDs check every box in the xbox video settings: 4k120, dolby vision gaming, freesync, gsync, variable refresh rate, everything. Don’t worry about burn-in either.
Oh man. I reviewed a TCL R646 two weeks ago but everyone’s pointing me to the LG C1. I might have to still give it a try.

I bought an inexpensive Samsung 4k 60hz TV that looks amazing. Coming from PC gaming, I know there isn't anywhere the Series X will do 4k 120hz. There isn't anything I'm missing out on not getting an HDMI 2.1 TV.
