6.25 quarts of ethelyne glycol antifreeze mixed 50/50 with distilled water. You will probably only need 4.5 to 5 quarts to do this job this way. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Love these no Bs, no over worrying video! Thanks. Simple, affordable approach to it.
Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate it
Yep, too many on here want to make animated intros, talk about stuff I don't care about, and pretend to be comedians. I just need to info. Great job
I will try that water pump approach. I did a radiator fluid drain and fill like 3 years ago it’s do up. This helps.
Very informative video! Thanks for this!
Thank you for watching
You don't have to remove flash shield underneath the car in order to drain coolant. Just remove air filter box by removing 3 screws and loosen the hose clamp.
It's even easier than that, just pry up the air intake "tube" and you can reach straight down to the petcock.

First coolant flush for myself @76k Miles.
Would you recommend changing out the thermostat & O-ring Gasket when doing the first flush maintenance wise according to the manual?
Also, when refilling, do you refill from the coolant reservoir and let the radiator fill up?
Or refill from the radiator and let the coolant reservoir fill up?
Hopefully, that question makes sense. Thank you once again
Hi, thanks for watching.
I usually try to go by recommended maintenance guidance timelines...if it calls for changing the pump at xx miles, I'd do it. Although that seems a bit early to me, pumps are generally pretty easy and cheap, so just do it.
When filling an empty coolant system, I go from the radiator first. It's just faster. Good luck!
Why the transmission fluid flush though? Should I do one on my 2013 Elantra gt?
I did it simply because as long as they are done routinely throughout the life of the car I believe they can help extend the life of the transmission. If your car has 100,000 miles or more on it and it's never been changed I wouldn't do it.
What would you say to do for a 2016 Hyundai accent
I'm not super familiar with the Accents, but I would imagine the same process I've shown here would apply to them as well.

The Pennzoil type I used was green. Green also came out of it.
@@jcx2bby yellow is in mine and I have no idea what to do now.. im guessing its universal fluid but im not sure..
@@Matt-yj1lz prestone has an "all makes" coolant that is yellowish in color. Could be that's what they used.
You should never flush the transmission. You always need to keep some fluid in the transmission because there are so many crevices. You should just drain it until its dripping then replace.
That's a dealership call Will. I would never mess with the transmission, personally. But the Hyundai procedure involves hooking up a machine to the inlet and outlet of the trans on these cars and forcing new fluid in and old fluid out. So in essence, it's never drained of fluid at all, hence the term flushing.
Wrong information. Just checking CZcams and all you have to do is remove the right air hose and reach down to the petcock. So So much easier
I removed all those shields since there was trans fluid all over those pieces anyway. I had a couple other folks comment about remove the air tube... whatever works!
U telling me I can’t just unscrew a lid to add coolant??
No one is telling you that.
