- Here are the recipes:
4 EASY RUM DRINKS:
CUBA LIBRE
2 oz. (60ml) White Rum
4 oz. (120ml) Cola
1/3 oz. (10ml) Fresh Lime Juice
Garnish: Lime Wedge
PREPARATION
1. Add ice cubes to highball glass, followed by the rum.
2. Top with cola and a squeeze of lime. Drop the wedge in the glass as garnish. Enjoy responsibly!
CLASSIC DAIQUIRI
2 oz. (60ml) Light Rum
1 oz. (30ml) Fresh Lime Juice
1/2 oz. (15ml) Simple Syrup/Superfine Sugar
Garnish: Lime Wheel
PREPARATION
1. Fill coupe glass with ice an set aside to chill.
2. In an ice filled shaking glass combine rum, lime juice and simple syrup. Shake well.
3. Discard ice from serving glass and strain mix inside. Garnish with a lime wheel. Enjoy responsibly!
DARK N STORMY
1 1/2 oz. (45ml) Dark Rum (Goslings)
4 oz. (120ml) Ginger Beer
Garnish: Lime Wedge
PREPARATION
1. Add ice to old fashioned glass and pour over ginger beer.
2. Top with dark rum and garnish with a lime wedge. Enjoy responsibly!
PINA COLADA
1 1/2 oz. (45ml) White Rum
1 1/2 oz. (45ml) Cream of Coconut
4 1/2 oz. (135ml) Pineapple Juice
Ice
Garnish: Pineapple Slice/Maraschino Cherry
PREPARATION
1. Add ice, white rum, pineapple juice, and cream of coconut to the blender. Combine until smooth.
2. Pour mix into a hurricane glass and garnish with a pineapple wedge and a cherry. Enjoy responsibly!

I had only a bit if dark rum left after the holidays, so I mixed this concoction. I call it a Dirty Daquiri:
2 oz dark rum
4 oz pineapple juice
1/2 oz Roses Lime
Shake with ice cube
Pour over ice cube in martini glass
Delish! Foam on top never goes away.
Not too bad for pulling something together!

My favorite drink of all time is something called the Lava Flow. All it is is half piña colada, and half strawberry daiquiri

I've never tried this before, but this occurred to me now. Can I mix the Coca-Cola with Coconut Rum (with or without the lemon squeeze)
Just made a delicious drink with Malibu Coconut Rum, cranberry juice and Mango Sparkling Soda (can) because I didn't have any pineapple juice. OMG, going to buy more mango juice. Just remember who just invented this one. :)

True pina colada's are made with dark rum. I learned this little tidbit on a cruise last year. We had a great excursion in San Juan where we learned the how to make several drinks native to Puerto Rico.

What’s a regular glass? If you’re saying a pint glass. Double everything.
4oz light rum
2oz lime juice
1oz simple syrup
Fill your pint glass with ice, pour cocktail over the ice and enjoy!

Yes, the Dark n Stormy comes from Bermuda which uses the Bermuda Black Seal rum. It is a trademark to only use Bermuda Black Seal rum and no other dark rum. It is also one of the two national drinks of my country (Bermuda) Dark n Stormy and the Rum Swizzle.

The dark and stormy was invented and made for Gosling's black seal and Gosling's ginger beer. Their rum and their ginger beer are very unique. Recipe is 1.5 ounces of black seal rum, 4.5-5.5 ounces of goslings ginger beer, and about an ounce of lime juice or as Goslings says "lime juice optional. Enjoyment mandatory"

The classic daiquiri is similar to the Rum Rickey the only difference is instead of club soda or spirite you have simple syrup and that makes a big difference personally I prefer the daiquiri

Lime here in the Philippines is expensive so I switch lime juice with calamansi juice for Cuba Libre. Drink still taste really good. Stay tipsy 👌🏻

Rum is oretty underrated. A lot a people hate on it without trying it, kinda like Gin. One hears a guy say that it was so disgusting that it brought his grandmother back to life and decapitated her in front of him and that becomes their new perception of something they've never tried.
It’s horrible unless you mix it right. Definitely not the smoothest hard alc variant
Puerto Ricans also add fresh pineapple and sweeted condensed milk to our Piña Coladas
For Cuba Libre please use dark rum. Nothing cheap though.
