I've had to pee outside on hiking trips. The number one rule I have is, make sure you cannot see anyone as if you can't see them then no-one can see you.
That's the thing about drunk drivers, they have this arrogant mentality that "If I don't get hurt, I can drive drunk whenever I want" but are so blissfully unaware that their actions could hurt someone else, and I seen at least 7 Tiktok influencers who actually brag, about how they get away with it, and say "my body my choice" bastard the lot of em

Yeah, that's the problem with drug addicts, especially those addicted to the really bad ones with terrible withdrawals, they don't care about anyone else until they get their fix.

I was there once. Tried to steal the tip jar from a Subway.
The little girl chased me outside and confronted me and made me sit there and dig the money out ov my backpack.
I rode away and cried.
Never felt so disgusted with my self.
Never stolen a thing before that.
But the next day I came clean to my partner about my addiction. Ready for whatever punishment. I deserved it, to be sure!
She helped me talk to my doctor about it.
Been clean for years now!
I even went back to that Subway and waited till I saw that girl again, got a sandwich and then handed her a $20.
She freaking saved my life!
I was under 120lbs and looked like a skeleton.
And I would Never wish the withdrawals upon my worst enemies. It is truly unbearable and the worse pains I have ever experienced.
But I also understand why most people fall into that pit. It really can happen to anyone, even the ones that grew up knowing the real dangers ov substance abuse.
I still have feelings ov guilt, since I grew up watching my parents slowing die from drugs, and yet I allowed depression to ruin me and turned to heroin so I wouldn't care anymore.
Took me a few years to realize it only made it so, so much worse.
But yeah, since then I am great at spotting addicts and boosters now!
At least I got a crappy superpower out ov it 😆
Instead of jail why not take them to drug rehab by force

My own parents chose drugs over feeding me way too often.
Even I, when an addict, chose to get high over eating. Went down to the 120's in weight. Really sucked.
But when I finally decided to not be afraid ov the backlash from openly admitting to being an addict and asked for help I was beyond grateful!
It sucks being enslaved heroin or any other hard addictive substance (met people addicted to various pills, meth, PcP, and all sorts ov stuff).
But the person Must ask for the help first. Forcing them into quiting is always short-term.
OP didn't expose him, that guy exposed himself. When he started stealing money, he was probably very careful about the amount. You can easily deduce this by the fact that,, if he bothered remembering how much he discounted, it wouldn't be noticeable. He probably just became overconfident over time, not even bothering to remember the exact amount at all, then he decided to pick on the wrong person.

My friend growing up lived across the street from an elementary school. During the summer her dad peed outside in his own yard and got in trouble. Was registered as a sex offender and had to move because he couldn’t live that close to a school.
He is still to this day on the list, 20 years later.
As far as getting off of the list, it is possible lol it depends on the crime and the laws. My county has laws that idiots like the first story can get off the list if they spend a certain amount of time with zero infractions. And to be clear, it’s explicit that it’s for crimes like this and not assault. It’s JUST the “I took a drunk piss in a park at 2 am” offenses and gray areas for statutory charges.
A friends son finally got taken off the list for a Romeo and juliet type charge. She was 15 and he was 17 and the parents were absolutely in the wrong. Its been many years and yes he holds a good job and funny thing is they are married and have 3 kiddos now. The judge took one look and absolved him from all crimes and took his name off the list.
Oh and unless you're tinkling in front of the school peeing in public is no longer a sex crime. But they do post it publicly

@@Emeraldwitch30 heres the fun part tho, its only for men. before i stopped hanging out with the entire group we had two female friends who would get plastered every weekend and regularly would squat and spread, full exposure on the sidewalks, in the park, literally wherever we were, cops were called dozens of times but they would either dismiss it or take them in to sober up then slap on a fine and let them go, our other buddy pissed on a dumpster once and no hes on the sex offender list.

That sex offense charge COULD be excused due to the dude being so inebriated for him to really be aware it was a school zone. However that is a very long shot that probably won't work.

As the persons weight is in Stones I assume it's a story from the UK. UK firefighters pretty much do what they need to do to get to save lives. You do not want to park your car between them and a fire. This is a feature not a bug.
Second story; I used to have a boss who would come in high as a kite every goddamn day. Over the course of six months, he had to go to rehab for substance abuse twice. Yes, twice. I don’t work for him anymore, but I hope he’s doing better.
I know someone significant in my life has been a reoccuring heroin addict.. he went to rehab 5 or 6 times.. and is STILL doing heroin after he lost everything

I assumed she _wanted_ him to see the posts. Presumably because 9 times outta 10 people side with the woman, so if he tried to set the record straight, no one would believe him. Or, option 2, he starts becoming verbally abusive, which ultimately makes her look better. However, he went for option 3, silent revenge.

For the sex offender list, it depends state by state and what tier you are. Exposing yourself while drunk puts you on a low tier I believe. Idk about in a school zone tho. And you're an offender for a certain amount of time. Again, depends on the state. First guy should stay on it for life tho
There's a fine line between pissing in public and being a sexually violent predator.
Can confirm it depends on state and the charge in my state as long as it's not a felony you can get off after a certain amount of time but I'm not sure how long it takes
One thing that would probably help his case is if no kids actually saw his willy. Still, he deserves to have his license revoked for a number of years for his reckless drunk driving.

Unfortunately when you expose yourself in a school zone, no matter what time of day it is, you are on that list for life in many places. You are classed as a danger to children, specially when it gets mentioned there are children in a home like OP did, and no lawyer is going to get you off that list in a hurry by trying to use the "Young and drunk" mentality either.
An online friend of mine who lived in Montana at the time, had a neighbor who constantly would have parties and instead of going inside would go down and take a whiz by the side of the house in clear view of my friend's house due to a chainlink fence separating the yards, but not the street. My friend had constantly told him not to do it, he didnt want to narc on him because he said the guy was a really good guy, but he was worried because if one of his kids, two twin girls under 10 and a boy under 6, saw the neighbor taking that whizz he would be screwed.
Well, unknown to my friend one of his twin daughters spotted him two nights later and had told another friend at school about what she had seen, that friend's father just happened to be the local sheriff and when he heard went down to the guy's house to confront him. Well, at the time he went down he was just starting another party up, and not getting any answer on the front door, the sheriff came into my friend's yard and along the fence and spotted the guy taking a whizz, in clear view of my friend's boy who had come outside seeing the sheriff's car, and my friend following him out.
That neighbor had to end up moving because he landed himself on the register for indecent exposure to a minor, and because they lived within a school zone. He also lost his job because some of his work took him to schools, which he could no longer do.

My fiancé was a firefighter for a long time.
One thing I didn't know that he just told me; if vehicles are blocking the firefighting equipment, the firefighters will move it if they can find the keys but if no keys and they can't get the hose through, they can and will smash your windows and feed the hose through the windows till they can reach and fight the fire.
He's done it a few times and the last one the car keys were stuck in the burning house so he had to smash the windows because the vehicle was blocking the line. Some people are more concerned with a car window than a fire burning down their house.
You'd be shocked how many have tried to sue when they were impeding the firefighters ability to do their job and save lives and structures.
He's probably not going to be a sex offender for life. It depends on what tier he got classified as. I believe a tier 3 is a life sentence. This is also considered by age too. A minor has a higher chance of getting it expunged. Unfortunately a lot of pos people get away with their sick behavior. I'm glad you delt with this guy and hopefully he doesn't hurt anyone ever.

One of my sisters was in a car accident Thursday night when a drunk driver hit the vehicle she, her husband, their children and two in laws were riding in.

The drunk guy that hit them was driving on a suspended license; he’d driven drunk before.
Shouldn’t the school zone be out of hours if it was dark? It’s weird for him to put on a SO list because of that.

I left a comment once before about how the fire department will not only break your window if they need to run a hose through your car, but also decouple the hose poorly so your car floods. Knew they did that on purpose!

I've always thought that people who park illegally should receive the "3 strike" rule. They'll receive a ticket every time their car is found parked in the same no-parking zone, handicap parking or blocking someone's driveway, each new ticket being more expensive than the last. If they still haven't learned their lesson after the 3rd ticket their car will be towed, no questions asked.

In the story about the neighbour car being moved by the fire service, it probably happened in the UK judging by the phrase "Do one"... basically it means something like "beat it", or "shove off"... as in "My mate wanted me to spend the whole day helping him move, I told him to do one..."

with the entitled neighbor. I'm like, pretty sure if the obese guy had family, they could sue the neighbor for obstruction or something. Because it could be argued that because he didn't move his vehicles, he prolonged the danger of the obese guy which is what caused him to pass away.
I will never drink and drive... I saw four high school kids die in a fiery crash and I was only something like 10 years old. I vowed my sober driving. The worst part, one of the kids had a hand outside of the window, it was twitching and his watch was still ticking. I had more then a few nightmares.

Actually, depending on the severity of the crime, you CAN get off the sex offender registry. Lowest degree is 15 years, highest is 25 years. He screwed himself BAD because it can come with a lot of other restrictions, like, if he lived within 1000 ft of a school, he'd have to move.

Just here to say the guy in the thumbnail is wholesome af. His wife was dying in hospital so he brought her home and they partied hard as a send-off for her. He was originally charged with third-degree murder but got criminal negligence instead and was sentenced to three years in prison, minus rhe 200ish days he'd already been held. He should be out by now if he's still alive

The fire engine story sound like the UK. I’ve heard stories of Fire Brigade sending old appliances down roads that have inconsiderate parking on them. If your car I damaged from because an appliance can’t reach its destination, tough, your insurance will not honour it.

It's about a teenager getting harassed by some jerk at his highschool (I think?) and said jerk also love to smash OP's mailboxes with his car but one day, OP or OP's dad (don't remember who did it) made a mailbox strong enough to destroy the bully's car the next time he attempted his bs.
The next day in school, the bully's friend went to OP telling him about the bully going to kick his a** for what happened to his car and OP just responded "did you know it was a Federal offense to destroy mailboxes?" (kinda, I don't remember the exact words) and explained that whoever messes with mailboxes is risking over 250000$ and 3 years in prison per destroyed mailbox.
That's all I can remember about this story.

To be clear I not defending the guy in the first story but I want to bring awareness to how bad being on the registry is. First off u have to pay to be on it like 100-200$. But on top of that dating becomes impossible. Facebook and every dating site kicks you off of it so you cannot have most big social media sites. Banks will still give u loans but at much higher interest rates making buying a house or starting a business near impossible but none of that is the real bad of it, parents will try to run you out of town and if you have your own child, parents will report every crime to try and get that child taken away from you and cops have the same beliefs about you as parents do. And no one in the situation as the drunk guy really deserves the last 2 I believe. Tho he did do a crime his life is really over if he's put on the registry and it sounds like he's not even 21 yet and that is sad... basically this guy will forever be treated as a child Mol by everyone in town and that rumor spreads fast and far

If I'm not mistaken, it depends on a few factors how long you're on the list. Some people are only on it for ten or twenty years, and some people are lifetime. The courts look at what it was you did, your criminal history if you have one, and your future risk of reoffence.

Story 2: WARY. OP was "wary" of the owner's reaction. "Weary" is a completely different word with a different meaning. *sobs*
just like the TSA's "no fly list", once your name is on the sex offender registry it can't be removed. even when a sentence gives them a certain amount of years to be registered on it, the listings don't expire or get removed from public record. the only change is that if they make their full time period with no further violations(which would extend their time), they eventually don't have to update their new address if they move. their names and info having been on the list never goes away.

It's really difficult to get off the sex offender list, but possible depending on the circumstances/details of your crime. There are different levels of offenses and level 2 and above are really hard (almost impossible) to get off the registry with.
Source: My grandpa is on the list (long story, opened an email he thought was from someone he knew) and almost got off it after being on there for about 20 years until my cousin ruined it for him.

You can get off Megan’s Law for certain charges but not all, and I believe it varies by state, but there are at least 10, 25, 50, and 75 year registrants and also Lifetime Registrants

I remember this story about a bloke that was wrongly put on the US s£x offenders registry, the actual p£rv£rt had the same name but spelt differently, they were also of different ethnicities and it took him almost a decade for them to correct it.
I think it requires a governors pardon to be removed from the offenders list
I'm from Michigan. I used the sex offender registry to keep tabs on my father. But looking at others in ny area there were those whose SO label expired after about 10-20 years. Mostly younger guys with far less serious offenses. Though 9 times out of 10 the people on there were lifers.
The moral of the story is don't drink alcohol at all. It's that simple.
In the story about the overweight person. I don't judge because I was almost that big. I had really bad thyroid problems and I had to get weight loss surgery or it would've taken me longer than most. What makes me mad is people using electronic scooters. I had back problems and still was able to walk. I got pregnant and when I had him I was 340. After the surgery I'm closer to 200.
This really goes to show, commit only ONE crime at a time.
you can get off the sex offender list, especially if it’s indecent exposure and not assault. Sometimes you even won’t have to register if it’s for public urination. HOWEVER, since this took place in a school zone, it’s very possible he may have to register anyway and have a harder time getting off the list. It varies sooo much by case and by state.

For the first story, I get the DWI charge, and the indecent exposure. But I dunno how to feel about a guy getting on the same list as r4p1sts and p3d0s for taking a piss. Like yeah, go somewhere more secluded to do it if needed. But to be put on an offender list for it?
It would have been nice if OP in the last story was able to find a way to expose all of her lies and ruin her credibility with friends, family, and future partners
