You can show your wife love in five ways:
1. Buy her flowers and gifts (or let her buy gifts herself)
2. Spend time with her
3. Do house chores
4. Hold her hand and touch her more without trying to initiate sex.
5. Compliment her.

Wouldn't the love languages be not the Word of God and be not good to teach with God's Word. Like getting gifts as love doesn't line up with what was in 1 Timothy...
But godliness with contentment is great gain.

Sorry to criticize, but I don't agree with everything; like role #3 entirely, because I think it's far more important for a husband to be in charge and the final decision, but being proactive isn't absolutely necessary.

Read the Bible to get to know God and then make Him known. Ask God to give you wisdom & understanding as you read. Repent (turn from sin, run to God, ask for forgiveness). He LOVES you and will forgive you if you believe in Jesus & surrender! Sing worship songs/hymns (youtube has videos with lyrics) to get in the presence of God. In His presence is fullness of joy (in any circumstance). Tell God things you are thankful for. Cry out to God. PRAY. He knows! 💕 I’ll pray for you.

Thats good brother. Prayer is not just saying words, actually prayer is the tool to have God transform us. So pray and let the holy spirit in your heart, if he is already let him guide you more and you will see change. Everything is possible with God it is only a matter of how strong your faith is.

@@johndummy3370 God expects men to be providers. Secondly, it’s not a sin for women to work and provide as well (it’s just not an expectation from God) but if a women is working and she’s good at her job, she absolutely deserves to be paid the same as a man in the same job doing equal work.

@@paige-vt8fn Just be careful Paige because have you ever noticed that Christian men seem to have lost that individualism and toughness that other males carry thoughout their lives, their personality becomes so soft and pliable, they lose all of their aggression and competitive traits that are inherent in the male of the species.
It's almost as if they cherish the opportunity to turn the other cheek when their masculinity is challenged, this can't be natural for men to become almost feminine in their manner and outlook.
Perhaps Christianity gives them the excuse to explore the feminine side of their personalities and frees them to practice their true sexuality.
It's one of the side effects of belonging to a Cult which thrives on their members becoming sanctimonious and Holier than thou, they are required to deny their most basic instincts and suppress the testosterone within their brains and personality.

Praying one or more Godly men enter my husband’s life and circle of influence and he comes home to lead and care for our family as God intended and he promised.
I was very naive before. Great video. This cleared out a lot of my questions. A Christian man leads the family. It’s one of the qualities that I will be looking for in a Godly man in the future. If he doesn’t love God first and wholeheartedly, I won’t be pursuing. One of my requirements.

I recently started homeschooling them due to bullying and other issues. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined because I suffer from heart disease. I had a massive heart attack a year and a half ago and I also have lupus. Since losing my job I’ve been struggling to support my children and myself. I’m now waitressing and I’m grateful but I’m not making nearly enough. JESUS HELP me. I’m CRYING OUT TO YOU. I’m tired of struggling. Struggling to buy groceries. Struggling to pay rent. It hasn’t been easy. Why me Lord? But I know God doesn’t give you more than you can handle. I know all things are possible through Jesus. I WILL KEEP FAITH. No matter how hard life gets. FAITH OVER FEAR!

I have recently been engaged. I don’t know how to be a husband, I don’t truly know how to be a man of God. I grew up going to a Lutheran School. And I’ve learned Gods teachings. From growing up, my Grandfather taught me how to be a good Christian man. But, I am now going to be a husband, and struggle myself with Christ, I hope that I could one day be a good husband, and preacher not only for my wife, but for our children, and our family. Thank you for this teaching, that really ministered to me. My husband passed away 15 years ago., the marriage was not a good one, despite my husband's strengths and charisma, my husband came from a very abusive past and unfortunately carried this over into our marriage. I have yet to ever process what I went through for all in all those years we were married. Since then I have not ever wanted to or considered marriage again. Why would I want to do that?
However for the first time listening to this simple teaching, it has given me a different perspective. Not that I am going to look for a new husband now, but in general there is a lot more in marriage that I never got to experience or understand. I guess I got cheated of that in all those past years. We as a family not long ago, watched for king and country in concert, because my wife just adores their music. She was happy, affectionate and very thankful. She was glowing with happiness knowing she got to spend the day with her family. Also, her husband( ME), got to spend a long awaited gift card I received from her a year ago. Seeing her so happy brought joy to my heart. I'm not bragging, just explaining to my church family here that, we as husbands need to take time to do these little acts in order to impart good things. Take the time MEN.

Explaining this and using your own marriage and difficult things in your marriage really gives this a very personal and relatable message. I really enjoyed this message and will send it to my husband. Due to his depression we have opposite roles, I take on the role of the husband (except for working) and he learns from me as far as our relationship and personal life goes. 🤷♀️
This is amazing. As for someone who never had a father figure, male role model to look up to bc well my father didn't want me, I was sexualy abused by family members and friends as a child and was raised by strong women. This is amazing and new to me. I do need to work on my healing with Jesus bc its a little triggering when I hear the word "submit" and serving my future husband. I'll do w.e my Heavenly Father wants me to do. He saved me🥰 I'm actually half way there. I enjoy cleaning and staying with my baby at home raising him. I like cooking but I think the Lord needs to work on me more on that bc as a single mom, I dont like spending hours in the kitchen, I rather clean the bathroom😄 I want to play with my baby boy a lot more🙏🏼
While making a home is important you will find what works for you and your family! Find a man that will provide that like for you that you can stay home with your boy :)

So I'm a wife to my husband, I do my own housework, I raise our 4 kids and I work full time. I hardly ever have time for anything I enjoy and I do it with love. In the last year, he says I never have good things to say about him but in all honestly I do everything at home. Eg: I raced home from work to tend to our sick baby daughter who has severe flu. We have a baby vac that attaches to the vacuum cleaner to clear her nasal passages. She was so ill she couldn't breath and when I looked for the vacuum cleaner to sort her out - it was at my husband's work. I phoned him for help as I was very concerned to be informed he will be working late and after that call with a screaming baby in the background, I saw or heard from him for the first time when he pulled into the driveway 2 hrs later. He says he knew there was nothing he could've done to help and that's ehy he didn't do anything further to help. Am I unreasonable? I do all washing, folding, dishes, kids bathing and feeding, all kids lifting, pet care, cooking, cleaning up after dinner, packing lunches for the next day. Advice please!!!

Prayed for you sis and God knows your heart and how to deal with this situation. Please trust that these trials come to teach you that your dependence needs to be fully on Christ and no one else. Jesus wants above all to save you eternally into His kingdom. Many will try to focus your view on dismay and burden of the temporary life and its problems but if you keep your eye on Jesus, trusting in His goodness, guidance, and grace.. you will find peace to meet every circumstance of this life and be fitted to walk with Him in glory.
I pray that you continue to place your life in His hands for safe keeping.
I recently got remarried coming out of a unequally spiritual marriage of 12 years. I realized through this teaching that I failed as a partner to my x wife but I knew that I failed. I worry that I will be judged for failing her spiritually.
It is never too late for you to pray to God with a contrite spirit, focusing on his holiness, and confess truthfully what you know you have done sinfully to him. I did it recently, despite being a Christian for over 2 decades. And it brings tears but also gratitude and praise for a God that is holy, yet also forgiving, merciful, and graceful. When he forgives, it lifts a huge burden from your shoulders and it liberates you from guilt and accusations that forces of evil use against you.
Repent and do better while you walk with christ he will teach you slowly and better you, we are humans failing is something we do until we are perfected in christ Jesus!!

Excellent video. As a woman of God this is what I am looking for. And I'm not sure what happened, but a huge percentage of christian men in their 30's and under have not learned and/or were not taught this, and I see little difference between them and worldly men. It's really really sad. I pray for men whenever I think of it, and also we need more spiritual father figures so to speak helping raise up men. But it also has to do with men willing to submit to God and follow Christ, and I think, especially in the western culture, the pornographic hyper sexual culture is what has destroyed men so much and robbed them of growing spiritually and being blessed with this maturity in God. Essentially there has been an ahab type spirit where men have willingly forfeited their crown and their blessings for worldly pleasures, that the enemy has made so easily accessible, and then you have all these immature men who don't want to lift a finger and put in the effort and work for a real relationship because the counterfeits seem so easy, but it's destroying people. Pastor, may our Lord keeps blessing you with wisdom so that you keep teaching us. I am a divorced single 60 year old woman who loves to learn and now I understand why when I was married, I was so frustrated cuz I never felt loved.
My wife sent me this video. We recently were blessed with the opportunity to visit your church, we are from Meridian Idaho. The topic that Sunday was man's role in marriage. I must need to hear this more often as I am still growing and learning in several areas. I believe the area I need the most work is being "Proactive". I seem to wait for things to happen or for my wife to make things happen. This is mostly due to me being concerned about my career. That being said I think being more balanced in my approach would help me not neglect this important part of being a husband. Thank you and God Bless your ministry.
Sadly, this is representative of one of the members of my family and her kids. My aunt doesn't work. She could, she just doesn't. Has lived in low-income housing almost her entire adult life, has no wealth to her name, and lives off gov't checks. But the one thing her husband, her adult son, and she herself do ALL the time is buy BRAND NEW cars every few years. It's such a poor mindset that all they think they can aspire to is the next new car to make them "look" rich.

2:38 Great video. I do agree that it is a husbands role to provide for his family in many ways. However, I think its important to remember that Gen. 2:18 also calls a wife to take on the role of a helper. Neither husband or wife should reach a place of idleness, entitlement, or false expectations which may be the result of whatever worldly example of marriage that was modeled to us. Ministering and encouraging one another goes a long way
My husband abandoned me and my young son that he was a step-dad figure to. He pursued me soooo hard under the name of Jesus. This has made my son question if Jesus is even real. My husband made his job and money an idol. Making 6. Figures. But now expects me to pay all bills while he does whatever he wants. Heartbreaking. I loved this man when he had nothing. He got this high paying job 10 mins after I prayed for a specific type of job in faith. I give glory to Jesus who says he gives favor to a man when he finds a wife. Now he just wants to keep it for himself.
Emmy, he will later realize money and power are meaningless. he is immature still at this time. hopefully he will realize this soon.

It’ll keep the anger, frustration & bitterness at bay. Also know that Jesus/Yeshua is right there with you; & He sees you. I pray that God opens your husband’s eyes & for his deliverance; as well as for your steadfastness & healing. 🤗
Very good, on point. What really helped me to understand how to love my wife and what really opened my eyes was the podcast "the right fight." it changed my life, and I'm forever grateful. Once I understood my role as the husband and saw all the wrongs I've done, and understanding what love means, marriage became a beautiful thing. Being prideful is one of the biggest, if not the biggest killers of not only marriage but all relationships. Humble yourselves and love God, follow him, and the rest will come into its own place
Being the pastor of my family has been tricky lately. I have 4 step kids, and so I didn't get to be there since birth to guide and help them so woth minds of their own and not knowing much about God I've been trying and sometimes feel like they just listen so I shut up and don't take it seriously all the time and explain why I'm against some things that they don't understand so that has been a challenge for me. My wife is a believer as well, but she is a more private person, so I've caught myself trying to get her to have the same style as me. I just want my family on the right path, so if you guys could also pray for me and my family, I'd appreciate it very much. Thank you, and God Bless all of you!!

I could learn to be more proactive and take more initiative. Growing up father wasn't present and he ran away from responsibilities. Not a good example to draw from . But I'm learning to be different. And I could learn to be more patient with my wife. Especially since we come from completely opposite backgrounds but with God all things are possible and I will continue with his help to do better and perform my role the way he commands us too .
