I’m in this right now and my bitterness and resentment and past hurt keeping me away from my kids still haunts me like PTSD, I got angry and blew up and acted a fool and was threatening. How do we get our husbands to let us live? Mine won’t even let me go to the corner store or see my family that lives an hour away or establish credit or go to the library or go for a bike ride. Have lunch with my sisters or best friend. Or do anything outside of his instructions. I’m having trouble with finding any advice on what things are wives allowed to do. Ephesians 5:18-31 shows us a very good explanation of marriage as a whole. Submission does go both ways. Some ways women shall submit are taming the tongue, be the caregiver of the house hold and kids, allow the husband to make the ultimate decision in things. The husband shall be a protector, provider and leader(spiritual leader mostly). The are only a few things I can think of off of the top of my head. Ephesians 5:18-31 shows us a very good explanation of marriage as a whole. Submission does go both ways. Some ways women shall submit are taming the tongue, be the caregiver of the house hold and kids, allow the husband to make the ultimate decision in things. The husband shall be a protector, provider and leader(spiritual leader mostly). The are only a few things I can think of off of the top of my head. I am not married yet, so I can’t think of too many at the moment. Anyways, I hope this helps!!
That's the part I'm talking about, I guess the best explanation I have for you to love your wife above her actions and store your treasures in heaven. Meaning do all you can to be the man/husband that you know Yah created you to be. That way if she leaves she's not rejecting you she rejecting the God in you. I know easier said than done but this is what I'm dealing with now and what have come to learn.

I am convinced that there is an algorithm in place within social media that is causing women to leave their marriages. They are somehow being conditioned to believe they they have somehow missed out on life because there were a wide and mother. All the likes and guys telling them how beautiful they are means more than their husband who would do anything to make them happy.

I understand most of this but this video implies that people HAVE to get married. Personally I don’t agree with churches having a habit of equating holiness with a relationship status or viewing marriage as a spiritual upgrade.
it is a spiritual upgrade tho the Bible it says to not have sex outside of marriage and that means keeping borders to prevent that such as not living together etc etc not to mention being married is the deepest agreement to make so it makes the relationship deeper with god and the couple
