  • Another TSA Video To Make Your Blood Boil -- Appears these TSA's hate mothers who breast feed their babies
    All of this TSA garbage are test cases. Once they get away with this, they will escalate their tyranny. My God, I don't see a soul forming massive protests over this unconstitutional garbage. Until the people stand against this tyranny, it will get worse!.

    I have to say, that Europe and Canada and Australia and New Zealand all select Airport Staff, from the higher end of the gene pool. For some reason, America seems to go out of its way, to employ the worst. The Application Form must read, tick yes if you have a "chip" on your shoulder. Well done, you ticked Yes. You will fit in nicely. On a serious note. All this is endemic, and it comes from the Top. That is where you should start.

This was obvious that they did it out of spite for their past encounter with her as they mentioned that they have been waiting for her since last time. These people are vindictive and have no place in the business. A lot of the stuff they do it ridiculous. I'm a marine veteran and I once had to throw away a $50 belt buckle or miss my flight because it had a little picture of a gun on it. Ridiculous

If a terrorist wanted to do any true damage now all he has to do is bring a gun or bomb right up to the long lines that the TSA through its molestation(which is what it is) lines and go total ape shit.

    All this nonsense with the TSA would stop if those who must fly would organize a two-day boycott with the threat of another two-day boycott a month later. After loosing billions of dollars in lost revenue the AIRLINES would put the pressure on the TSA and things would change. In fact, if enough people would boycott long enough the TSA would go away.

    I remember recently I was in line waiting for the (not really) TSA agents to finish with the like 10 people in front of us, and lines were limited because the TSA “agents” would close their line whenever they wanted. Then, they closed our line, and my mom got really mad. She started saying “that’s not fair, you can’t do that” and “we’ve been in line for an hour.” Then this weird officer or whatever she was came up to us and started threatening my mom with “I’ll grab the head of security and you can talk to him” and all that BS. And she was yelling at us too. And let me tell you, I wanted scratch the woman’s throat out so she couldn’t talk anymore. How disrespectful can these people get?!
    Another story (same day, same airport) - there were like 3 people at the line next to us. An older couple and a Hispanic woman. The Hispanic woman was CLEARLY in front of the elderly couple, and was having a normal conversation with them. Then, when it was her turn, the “agent” yelled at her to get in the back of the line because she “cut” it. She explained to him that she was in front, and the guy didn’t believe her until the elderly couple (who happened to be white) jumped in to back the woman up. Needless to say, JFK AirPort and like all airport staff suck.

As a former TSA Supervisor, this never happened on my shift. If a person is sent to additional screening, they were immediately screened and if cleared, free to go. Breast milk has always been excluded from x ray screening. Apparently TSA supervisors are not keeping up to date on policy changes as they happen daily. I'm ashamed by this.

    My son was on a Make A Wish trip. We informed the agents he had a tube in his stomach for his nutrition. Yet the screener, in Knoxville, Tennessee, put him through the x-ray, and acted surprised that something showed up. I called to him that it was his feeding tube and he could raise his shirt to see, but be careful. He literally reached up and jerked out my son’s feeding tube and they threatened me and restrained me as my son screamed and cried. Finally, realizing he screwed up, he turned loose of my son. My son then pushed his feeding tube back in the best he could but you could see inside his stomach. It was now open. I was irate and my son begged me to board the plane so he didn’t miss his trip. He had requested a family vacation, his only one and knew he might never get to go if we were delayed any longer. The flight was soon to leave because of the TSA delay. My son wasn’t able to get his feedings for the entire time. He couldn’t go in the ocean because it was an open wound. He was forced to eat to get any nutrition but his Cystic Fibrosis kept him from absorbing most of it and he threw up constantly when he ate. Surgery was required to repair the tube and complications. The tube had worked fine prior but now he had too many problems and was required to use a port afterwards for nutrition. His life was altered forever. I’m sure most TSA employees are good but they get power hungry and full of self importance like abad cop. Too much authority to ruin people’s lives.

As for those who wondered why she was bringing her breast milk thru again and why she didn't dump it out and instead, just produce more... Well, it's entirely possible she wasn't able to produce an ample amount of milk on demand to feed her baby. If that were the case, she definitely would need to keep every drop she produces. I know this from personal experience. It wasn't easy to produce milk when I had my children, so it was like liquid gold! Every drop had to be used. She also could've just kept it on principle. They were totally in the wrong here. That's pretty bad when even the manager doesn't know the rules and still doesn't follow them even after he reads them! Man this is crazy! I’ve been through TSA a dozens of times with my kids including carrying breastmilk and always felt like I had the red carpet rolled out for me. They always let me and my kids go through security with a stroller through a side gate with no xrays and we didn’t even have to take off our shoes or anything. Just our carry on bags were screened and they screened it for me and brought it back to me so I didn’t have to try to juggle everything by myself.
    They never even screened my breastmilk. And we’re so kind to me and my kids. This is the Chicago, Nashville, Tucson and Denver airports from the years 2004-present.
    I can not imagine going through what this poor woman went through. I hope everyone involved got fired! I feel terrible for this woman and having to go through this experience! And where was the baby this whole time!? Poor baby being separated from their mom for so long! Absolutely disgusting!

      How would you know that the TSA has never stopped a terror attack?

    • @ionceateapinecone
      @ionceateapinecone Před 6 lety +38

      because it's literally public record.
      terrorists have been thwarted by proper investigation and whatnot, but never from a TSA checkpoint, ever.
      also the TSA only prevents attacks like that on 9/11, it doesn't protect from people attacking the airport itself, and TSA checkpoints actually bottleneck people into a crowded area making that sort of attack way more dangerous.
      a better example on how to handle security would be israel's airport, where they deal with actual terrorist trying to blow them up regularly; their system has way more people on ground level, properly trained to spot anything suspicious instead of "oh hey there's another brown dude" or "this woman is trying to bring breastmilk on a plane"

    • @Deno2100
      @Deno2100 Před 6 lety +9

      It literally isn't public record. Little to no information related to current operations against terrorists and drug organizations is released to the public. Only when a strategy becomes obsolete and when that information does not provide substantial insights into the capabilities or mode of current teams and when the enemy is not expected to regress into older strategies does this information become available to outsiders. Then, only as a political or training tool. If the TSA stopped a terrorist attack, if border patrol caught some drug traffickers, if MARSOC took out a terrorist leader, you think they are going to provide insight to the opposition. It should also be mentioned that organizations like the TSA prevent these occurrences just by being posted. The discourage the enemy. I cant believe I had to explain this to someone who knows what public records are.

    1. TSA staff deliberately made her wait - intentionally inflicting stress ("..remembered her from before") as punishment. 2. I believe TSA didn't have any staff present who knew how to perform alternative testing 'they had to locate a staffer who was trained to do it. Of course none of them would admit this. Believe this is why staffers delayed again and again. 3. Missing or deleted footage is a crime - tampering with evidence. The male "supervisor" and the staff person who is responsible for properly retaining records of footage should have been fired. 4. Because TSA is a FEDERAL agency (exists only via tax dollars), the failure of federal.employees to follow federal laws, as well as their harassment exhibited against this innocent, law abiding civilian warrants salary suspension for minimum of six months, a corrective action report that is retained permanently in their personnel file, official training exercises and testing, and finally, 5. TSA Officers do NOT have authority to arrest anyone or any authority to use force in performance of their duties. TSA LAWS AND GUIDELINES SHOULD BE POSTED AT CHECKPOINTS IN MULTIPLE LANGUAGES.

    With the number of hours you need to pump, the nutritional value, and the fact that many women can only produce a certain amount in a given time, breastmilk would be $50 an ounce if sold retail. She probably had to pump while on her trip so that she could make sure that she had enough milk for her baby after her trip. There is just no excuse for making her go through this just because they are lazy and want to make a point. I wouldn't have dumped it out, either! Do they not understand that she has a BABY who needs that? Formula doesn't even come CLOSE to the litany of things contained in breastmilk that a developing child needs. So true! I couldn't have put it a better way. It's just unacceptable behaviour, these people need to be more considerate of how much time and effort it takes for a mother to do this. 😤 Ugh...It won't even take that long in total to set up that alternate screening, especially compared to how long they made her wait in a glass container. Real cute, security.

    Many years back, maybe 2012, I made it onto a flight with a pair of scissors in my carry on. I didn’t even realize what I had done when i put them in my bag at home either. The fact that those made it onto the airplane undetected, but this woman couldn’t bring breast milk on the plane absolutely stuns me. Id have to say that scissors are a lot more dangerous then milk. Good grief.

    They have no sense of humor either. Coming back from a ski trip, we used the Burlington Vermont airport. I was carrying a back of chocolate chip cookies, I hesitated to put them in the tub to be x-rayed and joked that I was glad they passed inspection.That caught the attention of the female TSA agent on the back side of the belt. Since I was joking she decided to "show me" proper reverence for the task at hand and looking at the tub just beyond the cookies she saw a laptop bag in the next tub and sternly informed me she would have to do some additional inspection on that bag. I smiled and said I agreed, it should get some additional inspection because the owner of that bag, the guy behind me, looks suspicious.

    It's really simple. They are too stoopid to even know their own rules. When the brain fails, physical force and threats prevail. They are just trying to make her miss her flight out of passive aggression.
