Hacking Apple Cinema Display to work with a regular Power Supply

  • If you have one of these old Apple Cinema Displays (20", 23", or 30") and lost the original power supply, there is a way to make them work with a cheap normal power supply. No need to buy the expensive original one!

    Hey great job man and thank you for sharing. Could you clarify the out-put voltage you used for the display please. Some of these generic power supplies aside from 12V, also provide 9V and even 5V. Did you use the 12V output?

    The content was fine and very useful but enduring your dork chatter until you got to the meat of it was truly painful. This could have been 25% as long and 200% better.
