I love love love videos like this ❤️ so much information in one place with clear comparisons - I find that when it’s just individual product/brand reviews we can get sucked in to “this is great and this is great and this is also great” and it leaves us feeling like we need it all/we can’t choose so I really appreciate that your channel really does try to whittle it down to the best of the best.

I am just so happy that glosses has made a come back because matte lipstick absolutely does not look good on me and I 100% prefer a gloss.
When I was working I would wear Mac Velvet Teddy with a sheer nude sparkly gloss on top, it was beautiful and I need to find another nude gloss
His new eye palette I would love a review! Love the idea of full face Wayne goss. I have his first eye palette and it quickly become my go to I love how easy the formula is. Makes me want more of his products!

Love this! Definitely gonna zoom in on Em cosmetics and Kosas for my purchases and presents! Also, it’s not a gloss, but I use it like one, the Etude House Honey Cera lip oil. I think it’s the perfect in-between and works great as a gloss, which is also nourishing!

I used your Kosas code that had them throwing in a free gift at purchase and it was one of their Wet lip glosses in "Fruitjuice." I honestly would have never bought this color on my own, but you're right the color presence is surprising and you can definitely tone down the saturation by being a little more light handed.

I work retail and b/c of the pandemic I haven’t been able to really use lip glosses. An underrated gloss is the wet and wild megastain lip glosses, it is not a foolproof formula but I love that it is a one step stain and actually doesn’t transfer much on my mask that much considering it is a gloss.
I am currently going through your old videos while I wait for your video on the new Pat McGrath Huetopia. I just got a promotion at work and was about to buy the rose edition as a treat to myself but of course she comes out with another palette that intrigues me and I just can’t decide!

I have about 20 glosses, and always reach for the Fenty Gloss Bomb and the Colourpop Lux tinted lip oil first. I also enjoy the Wayne Goss. I agree with you about the new Bite Beauty glosses-fussy.
I live for lip products, but my lips are WAY too crispy for most of them lol! Pigment always catches or gathers and after I apply them and look at the bullet they look like an old cutting board. The only significant luck I've had where my lips don't just look like scabs is Urban Decay sheer vice lipsticks (which have sadly been getting more and more scarce) and Em Cosmetics lip glosses and lip cushions- love em to death. I'd love to see a video on best sheer lipsticks/tinted balms (or even lip stains/or regular lipsticks/or anything!?)!
Also, I did recently try the shade Disco from the Glossier Play Vinylic Lip line and...I have to say I’m in love with this terracotta-red shade 🤷♀️ It’s definitely full pigment but doesn’t get all over my face like creamy lipsticks tend to do so I’m enjoying this product.

What you were saying about Glossier shades in the vinyllic lips....that's how I feel about the cloud paints. Insanely good formula but I have tried 4 of the shades and none of them really look good on me.

I like the looks of the Bite gloss because I hate it when I put a gloss over a lip color and it stains the gloss applicator.
I’ve been wanting to try the glossier one (& boy brow) so i think Black Friday might be the time - do i need the holo ver and the clear hmm !? My faves are buxom, PMG, dior lip maximizer + lip oils, tower 28 clear and milky line. I have 2 with shimmer from Hg which i think are ok and 2 Bobbi brown crushed oil which are great in the summer. I’ve tried Patrick ta but despised the amount of glitter left behind and i had a sample of the ilia - went baby pink on me and was drying. My WG has not gotten enough love from me partially because i like them better with liner and the applicator is not my fave. The newest to my collection is the Lisa E which i love the formula ! The two shades i got are on the lighter side of pigment than the ones you have , fawn and muse but i can’t wait for her to release more nudes.

I was over coloured lipglosses, truly, I was, I thought if I want a nude glossy lip I’d just use a creamy matte lipstick as a stain and dab some clear gloss over the top (btw idk where you stand with fenty lipglosses but glass slipper is lovely), boom, problem solved. Now I want a bunch of milky and medium pigment lip glosses again.

I am obsessed with the Roen glosses but only picked up one shade and can't seem to get them in Canada anymore :( Can you recommend what is similar in terms of a thick moisturizing lip gloss? I have tried the Ilia but find them too thin and they wear off quickly....

So agree on Ilia lip glosses. The colors are not so wearable.
try the Essense clear lipgloss it is beautiful, does not sabotage, fills in the lines of ur lips, makes them look plump and healthy without being a plumping gloss, is nourishing, and just makes your lips look like they are candy. the only prob with it is that it does not last very long but it is 5 bucks.

I would love a lip balm review if you’re up for it. Specifically tinted lip balm. I’ve been scouring the internet for a natural moisturizing tinted balm with sheer color. I don’t like lipstick or high pigment. I want my lips to look colored but natural. So far all I’ve found is Hurraw! Black Cherry lip balm and it’s decent but they only make one color.

I never tried any of Tower 28 but have had a desire to. I'm not sure if it would be worth it for me if it leaves that white residue. Did I understand you correctly that they leave that white rim around the lips?
I think that's what she meant. For whatever it's worth (I know this varies, and is all so personal) ... but for me, at least, the Tower 28 glosses don't leave the white residue xo
I'm interested in the Wayne Goss and was wondering if they do any lip sabotage. They sound amazing, so even if some pigment gathers on the inside of the lip, I'd still buy them. (I talk a lot and always worry if my lipgloss forms a noticeable line on the inside of my lip. Still trying to find a gloss that's good for talking if that makes sense.)
They do! Mainly because they have that amazing heavy, glassy texture. It's not a HUGE deal honestly. I'm just on camera all the time and it looks gross and distracting after an hour.

While I’m not on camera for hours, I used to have several presentations a day (before lockdown) where I’d talk for a long time. I can’t touch up my lip gloss mid speech, and I know several people in the same position. Your video helped a lot and now I’ll lean towards milky/sheer gloss recommendations.

Im confused between tower28 and kosas lip oil.Which one would you suggest more?
Oh dear. You won’t be sad either way, but Kosas is a more high tech formula I think. More nourishing, longer wear. But they probably look about the same on.
My Kosas Jellyfish changed colors to a weird yellow. Still seems okay but I hesitate to use it. Anybody else have the same problem?
ETA: Are we not calling that weird ring that some glosses develop “butthole lip”?

I love you and 30 minute video of gloss is heaven to me, but you're disregarding the Glossier red gloss too much! As someone with super unpigmented and pale lips, the red Glossier gloss gives me a significant amount of pigment!
