If you destroy your current bed, you can fast travel to the last bed you used via quit/reload. Could be a much easier way to retrieve the spear or farm in dangerous areas

Yep doing that for the boss fights on my 3rd character now.
Another one would be how different characters let you build more different tree home bases in a shared world.
Even when you have the same tree claimed (single player)
So one could actually build a global storage that is not on a tree and have items available on all characters.

Is the game performing that bad on your end or is that the video processing causing the stutters

Video looks smooth to me, only frame drops I mostly get are when I pick up newly discovered items or open the codex.
Maybe your internet?
