just some thoughts...
Screws != Nails
& probably best to NOT use the only weapon type that a creature is resistant to... IE: you could have used a club for the Sawyer Beetle at close ranged instead of the sword for far better affect.

To get through a storm, just build a foundation as tall as you can make it and stand under it. Storm defeated!
Simple foundation above the ground + a bed = shelter
Its late but you don't need to do a cube. Foundation, wall, and a ceiling will keep you warm for the storm.
Imma start using, “cheap as chips.”
Err... that sword icon means that enemy is weak to Edged damage, like the sword or scythe. The club is a Blunt damage weapon. Arrows and spears are Pierce damage.
