Now the State of Colorado is taking the advice of a 13 year-old. That figures. That’s the new Colorado. Bizarre.

yes adults are dumb! Health should be a priority and most people have no idea about PFAS nor what products contain it

These people are as bad a Just Stop Oil. If you want change you need to provide a better alternative not just try to ban the problem. Seriously if you want it adopted by the masses you need that alternative to be cheaper and/or easier, I am sick of my cost of living skyrocketing so these nieve spoiled brats can virtue signal, it is already hard enough to just get by.

We already have "better" alternatives to PFAS. We had better alternatives before PFAS were invented.

If you don't eat the stuff, it's not likely to harm you. We don't eat dental floss or clothing. We also do not "need" non-stick cookware.

The business of business is business. The only way to keep them from using the cheapest materials or ingredients is through regulation. They will complain mightily about the change (because it will cost them money), but eventually find better materials. The regulation is just incentivizing innovation in a corporate body that has become 'out of shape' relative to innovation.

So in other words of the pro PFAs statement, “oh we know theyre bad, but also PROFITS!!!. So pound sand we use them everywhere.” God bless corporate neoliberal America. Thank god at least some state senators/congress ppl are actually trying to do something.

Remember it was evil greedy corporations that forced “safe and effective” products on us. If we are worried about these corporations making profits on products detrimental to our health, let’s ban all of them that cause serious harm.
