Great video and honestly so simple to follow. For those that have the issue of clearance in your fuse box the add a fuse as I did. You can take a digital multimeter and test which side of the fuse is a constant power and put the wire on the dead side. Yes, it is sketchy but it works.
Iv fitted loads of led underglow in the last few months done 20 now for people lots different ways like boot lights to other ways and the fuse jumper too been great definitely coming back

Solid video bro. You literally barney style this and its so easy to understand and follow step by step. SoCal w/ boots on and the MCX bag, dead giveaway hahah.
Another tip on the 3M strips... Find real 3M tape and use a section at least twice the width of the LED bar. You can leave the cheap tape on. Adhere the strip to the 3M tape and mount that. The larger surface area and the higher quality tape will "usually" solve suspended light strip mounting issues. As others have mentioned, you can also opt for 3M velcro tape... but you might run into the same issue with the velcro unmounting in high heat (like summer inside the car). This is why using very wide tape strips is important as the larger surface area reduces the "pull" effect of gravity, and when the tape weakens in the heat, it won't release as easily. You can always permanently mount with glue, but I don't recommend that as it can and will damage the material its mounted to (bad if in a visible location like glove box or dashboard).

This was insomuch detail and I helped so much. Having a hard time finding a detailed video on how to do the LEDs under the car wired into the fuse box under the hood. Can you please do a video on that
Just an FYI, the fusebox has a positive and negative. It does matter how you connect your jumper wire to the fusebox @ 6:19 You want to make sure the top of the jumper goes into the positive and the bottom into the negative. This will protect whichever devices from a power surge. Installing this incorrectly will work, until a power surge blows the devices rather than the fuse.
Not positive and negative, rather.. Load and draw. The load side is 12V, the draw is controlled by the size fuse you are using, determined by the device requirements.

Maybe I put the fuse tap the other way around ? Or since my lights were usb powered they had a blue and red wire and assumes red wire was positive? Lights turn on but they get extremely hot . I tapped it to radio is a 7.5 amp and used a 5 amp fuse for the top. Help please , thank you beforehand

What a great tutorial. You've made this super easy. I want to connect some LEDs on a pair of side bars. Would I be right in thinking I can use this technique with the headlight or rear light fuse instead so they come on with my headlights?
I have a question I don’t know much about electricity, shouldn’t the new fuse be a 20amp or is it because your piggy backing your able to use the 5amp with out blowing it and if you use a 20amp would it have shorted it
In regards to fuses, the cigarette adapter on the LED strip has a fuse inside of it which you took out but did not mention. Is that supposed to be in the circuit by using a fuse glass holder and then going into the fuse box with the piggy back 5amp? I am not sure if the whole circuit is supposed to have 2, or just 1 like your video? I am sure what you are doing is correct but I just want to understand why you would have 1 and not 2 OR is the 5amp in the fuse box is to replace the one in the cigarette adapter on the LED?
Question, I followed this tutorial and it worked for me, but now I want to add another accessory but I’m wondering if I can just plug it into the same Add A Circuit and just add another fuse on the bottom slot. I connected the add a circuit earlier into an empty fuse slot so I didn’t have to take out an existing fuse. Please help thanks.
