Question, I followed this tutorial and it worked for me, but now I want to add another accessory but I’m wondering if I can just plug it into the same Add A Circuit and just add another fuse on the bottom slot. I connected the add a circuit earlier into an empty fuse slot so I didn’t have to take out an existing fuse. Please help thanks.

Does it matter where u ground? Does it have to be close or far?

Pro tip: the fuse tap doesn’t work the same both directions. If you plug it backwards then the original fuse that was in place will have to bear its circuit in addition to the new circuit you added. The wire should be on the load side. Use a voltmeter and make sure the wire is on the side that has 0 volts.

Can you get away with 10 fuse ?

What if its the usb 1 not the cigarette lighter plug? Can u do same thing?

Double sided tough tape makes it where it will stick anywhere for future reference. Great video!

I got those today. Will follow that guide looks quite good.

Tried a couple different fuses until I finally found one that would only get power when the car is start or on, another thing I did was went to Lowe’s and bought some cheap wire and a couple crimp connectors and made the wire from the led Box to the add a fuse a bit longer due to it being on the passenger side. All in all thanks for the great idea

Can I connect this lightening to Usb instead of fuse ?

If you divide the watts by the voltage that gives you the amps under normal operation. so you can select a fuse higher than the design current basically. Watts÷ Volts= Amps For example 5W÷12V=0.41A Source: Ohms law baby

Hey just to let you know this helped me a lot, I just have a question the led strip is getting really hot after a few minutes, you know why is that the case ? Maybe I put the fuse tap the other way around ? Or since my lights were usb powered they had a blue and red wire and assumes red wire was positive? Lights turn on but they get extremely hot . I tapped it to radio is a 7.5 amp and used a 5 amp fuse for the top. Help please , thank you beforehand

Definitely not 800hp. Be lucky if it’s 500hp. Thing did awful. The burnout on the side of the road sounded like all clutch😂. Mine dynoed at 656rwhp all fuel no tuner and does wayyyyy better than this thing😂 definitely not worth the video watch.

My lights are staying on regardless of my car being off or not... I tried the sunroof spot and the radio spot

I think I have the exact same ones does it have and app that claims u can change it to 16 MILLION different colors lol. I wouldn't know who uses the software for any of these 20$ lights I can't imagine they are anything but a glitch filled headache? But if the app does work lemme kno, I'll maybe go through downloading it then. Anyway these light are great I even had them come apart because I was just to rough over the matter of like 3 years and bought new ones not even close to as nice in everyway really and yer right I did indeed lose that fuckin remote. Anyway did some soldering and fixed those ones and used the ir remote from the other set which for some reason was the best part about those strips it was in an aluminum casing super nice looking rounded rectangle metallic black lol smh idk 🤷‍♂️ why they decided to make only that part about it nice. Anyway re-instlalled these with alien tape and the stick again I ran into the same problem it was my one amd only complaint for these particular strips. Thanks for the fuse wiring kit idea I didn't even think of that I've been using a rocker switch for all my led lights which this seems easier like way easier. Appreciate ya!
