You could of put it in neutral to line up the rear u joint with the diff input yoke.

Which is better a 1 piece or 2 since I'm low my driveshaft brakes on my 2 piece and if I get 1 piece ik I dont have to angle or nothing but I'm scared if it brakes do to high rpms

I perfect 1 piece because they don't have carrier bearings

Any issues so far? Seems like it could put stress on the slip yoke of the transfer case. I hate replacing that f-ing bearing.

No issues at all, about 10K miles down the road

Are you still liking this driveshaft? Did you ever have any problems with pinion angles ?

Hey its still perfect! I originally installed it with stock ride hight but I have 6in blocks in the rear now and it still does just fine

Thank you , I used your link and bought one to . Should get it tomorrow . I’ve had people arguing with me that there’s a reason I have a 2 piece and that I’m going to regret this .... but my buddy has an 04 CCSB with a 1 piece factory and I’m just so sick of carrier bearing replacement . Thanks for the reply

2 piece are better less chance of twisting a drive shaft ,smoother operation.if you lift your truck or put large tires on your shaft angle is off too much.

Trucks lifted and has 37's on it now and it's just fine. And unless you got pretty high HP good luck twisting a new shaft... also like I said I was sick of constantly blowing through Profesionally installed carrier bearings
