How to Sew a Reversible Drawstring Bag!
Today I'd like to show you step by step how to sew a Reversible Drawstring Bag! I was in the middle of laundry and my clothes pins bag broke, so I thought "Why not multi-task! Sew up a new clothes pins bag, video it AND do the laundry!" 😊
A Reversible Drawstring Bag can be used for gift giving, shoe storage, lunch packs and all sorts of things!
This is a good start for beginner bag makers as lots of bags use the technique shown here.
REQUIRED SUPPLIES for a 14 1/2" tall x 12" wide Reversible Drawstring Bag:
2 pieces of outer fabric 15 1/2" x 13"
2 pieces of lining fabric 15 1/2" x 13"
4 pieces of interfacing 15 1/2" x 13", something like Pellon ShapeFlex SF101, if your fabrics are lightweight, or a similar product
35" of cording, twill tape, or a similar product.
