- I tried to demo of Stellar Blade for the PlayStation 5. Gameplay is very fun and refined, graphics look great, and for those of us looking for a bit of fanservice on top of that, it looks like there's a decent amount of that too.

Just FYI, as far as the level design goes, the devs said the intro levels are linear until you get to the city of Xion, then you gain access to two semi-open world areas. Story missions will continue to be linear but missions in those two regions will be structured in a more open-world format similar to God of War 2018/Ragnarok.

The monster designs are the best part of the game so far in my book. They're grotesque and unique and make for more unique enemies than you usually see in action games.

Remember, "journalists" complained about great games like Nier Automata and Bayonetta, because they have never seen a beautiful woman IRL.
This genre shine most during the seventh gen console era with Dmc,Gow,Ninja gaiden, Bayonetta and mgs rising etc.
Glad to see it has made a beautiful comeback again on ps5.

I hope it sells, it's about time people put their money where their mouth is.
I especially hope this sells a lot more than other recent Sony AAA slops, and even games I like such as Ronin, because Stellar looks more like a good old Team Ninja game than Ronin itself.

This game is the number one pre ordered game on playstation store and Amazon and GameStop as well as others, so I'm sure it'll sell very well

I miss this culture
She has a subtle stop animation when you stop walking, like, taking half a step still and then stop. 2B also had this in Nier and I thought it was a really nice touch back then.
STELLAR BLADE is the SAVIOR of the gaming industry 😍👍 EVERYTHING seems to be done RIGHT. You can FEEL the PASSION in EVERY ELEMENT of this game and it's just PURE JOY to watch and play ❤❤❤
I've been following this game since its announcement when it was a PS4 game.
Only unfortunate thing is that you have to buy the Japanese version to get the Japanese voice acting which is, to me, the best option. Fortunately this version has all other voice and text options.
I forgot about that, it sucks. PC version one day might fix that..
That's stupid should be a choice really, it's not like its physical.

It was an accidental find. Read it first on the PlayStation blog and later confirmed it by trying out the Japanese and western demo.
The game definitely looks very interesting, thanks for the preview. I'd love to try it so lets hope it comes to Steam in the future.
I hope it comes to pc I use to play on a ps4 but the thing its hot fast and at this point I feel like there is no need to get as ps5

This game won't convince me to get a PS5, but it's a step in the right direction, still have to try the game if it ever comes to PC but i'm in no hurry, i'm more interested in how the game does than actually playing it. Maybe, just maybe the golden days of fanservice games might take a shine again but meh i'm not holding any hopes.
It's unlikely, since the West is ideologically against these kind of games, whle Japan is cucked. All that's left is Korea and inidy Chinese games, and it's not enough.
Considering the game was published by Sony, I don't expect this to show up on other platforms besides PS5 anytime soon. (Unless Sony follows Microsoft's example)

I'm familiar with ShiftUp from their Gacha games Destiny Child and Goddess of Victory: Nikke so I was intrigued to see what their first non-gacha title would be and from what I've played of the demo it looks very promising and enjoyable to play. The lore of Stellar Blade I've seen so far is actually superficially similar to the setting of Nikke which also takes place on a post-apocalyptic Earth that has been invaded by an alien species.
Finally someone's talking about an actual gameplay, not just the fanservice. Looks interesting, I'd love to give it a go, but I'm not willing to buy a Ps5, so I guess I'll have to wait for the Pc port.

Definitely a step in the right direction and a ray of hope for other fanservice-riddled games. But I'm not going to purchase a PS5 just for this one game.

That thing sucks ass and it doesn't get disabled even in Resolution mode. I hope we can disable it in the actual game.
I've just preorded it. I'll likely take a mid-game break from FFVII Rebirth to play it when it comes out. And Fate/Samurai Remnant stays on the backlog a little while longer!

YSN, I think you’ll enjoy NIKKE if you haven’t tried it already. It has great story and high effort fan service. As for the Gacha part they’re really good about being free to play positive. I’m F2P and I’ve unlocked almost all the characters and built them for end game. It’s the same dev as Stellar Blade. Also I know I said this already but it’s worth saying again: the story is very good. It’s the only mobile game I play. I’d say you should play on the pc version. It’s a better experience
As a side note ever character in the game has a personality and backstory. Their lead writer is great, the story is peak and the music slaps.
I don't have a PS5, so when the game is released, please make more videos about it. There will be a lot of cultural things to review 😎
I would have never known you can adjust the ponytail in “gameplay” settings🤭🤭. I thought you had to wait for the full game.
It looks fun, and I like Shift Up (the developers). However, I'm not a fan on spending 70 euros on these kinda games. Basically I only pay that for JRPG because of how absurdly long they are XD. I'll check this one out later on, though.
I've been so excited for this but then started nikke when emilia came to the game. They told me that I could vote for my favorite Nikke but then they wouldn't let me. Whoever wins gets a new costume but I guess I never get a chance to get a costume for my favorite character but others can have a chance. I don't like when a company treats me differently than their other customers or differently than other players in a game. Now I don't know what I'm doing shift up might have lost my money.

@@telzen8774 nope she's the only one pulled out of the poll. They pulled her out because she won last year which isn't fair for new players. They also won't give us the costume they made last year which I actually understand but then she should be in the poll so people can vote or they could give the costume. Still this problem will get worse because most likely whoever wins won't be there next year then and 2 people will be gone. Imagine a new player not being able to vote for a bunch of people in the future and not get the other costumes either.
i like this game, reminds me of bayonetta, i hope it gets a cool fanbase like bayonetta instead of weirdos, i love fanservice and ecchi, but i dont like people who think games without fanservice are the "woke agenda". still excited as im a huge bayonetta and nier fan
It's not "without fanservice", it's actually services that serve no fan. Uglified characters and disrespectful storylines are what they are.

Maybe the longer ponytail hides her figure and therefore changes the "gameplay".
I think the combat/Moveset is too slow and put me off the game. I was excited but questioned the animations/Moveset and the animations seem fine the pacing is bad.
So yeah that's my issue with the game. The world/characters are great.
A phone Dev to a big budget game like Relink which got Platinum's help even more so great to see it happen and for a new audience not part of their phone game audiences.
But that gameplay isn't for me. I love the world/enemies/the characters look fine I have no issues with them Journos/twitter can say whatever I don't care I like the way the characters look. They look great.
It can be Nier Automata inspired by its world but the gameplay it doesn't take from which is disappointing.
Besides the fact not used to a Dualsense either as an 8th gen and older user (use all 3 platforms controllers often) and I only have the Dualsense kn hands when helping someone because I don't care about a PS5 the game sucks to control. It's playable just not enjoyable.
Faster allows higher skill and lower skill balance. Slower makes it more frustrating.
DMC is slower than Bayonetta but it's passable. Stellar Blade has the world/characters and more of an action game but feels like Darksiders 3/any other souls slowness it's not great. I'm not interested in it.
The discourse surrounding this game is annoying. It's either the woke screaming about the sexualization or the anti-woke acting as if SB is the beacon of hope
Overall I think the game is going to be great and I hope that Sony and Shift Up team up again to create more games or even bring Nikke to PS5
