it's pretty cool that this series still gets so many entries and re releases. depressing that Senran Kagura gets zero love anymore
idk, like it's nice that they are porting it over to new consoles, but at the same time, this is the 4th time they've announced a release for Rebirth, which makes me worry for the actual franchise as a whole.

i think all 3 games are on 1 cardridge. why i think that? they did it with blaster master zero trilogy. but maybe not.

Best news ever! I hope the physical release has English. That would be the smart thing for them to do. When the Atelier trilogy released physically the Asian version had english and it was a really popular import. So if idea factory is smart they would do the same for this.

Would love to see the other Vita Neptunia games get ported like Neptunia U, Superdimension, Balnc vs. Zombies, and Hyperdevotion Noire. As bad as PPP was, it doesn't deserve to die on the Vita.
Literally this, literally this. There is no where else you can play producing perfection EXCEPT for the vita. It isn't even on PC surprisingly
Also if your wondering YSN all the DLC will be included in this trilogy from what is shown in the Japanese trailer.

I was looking at it a few days ago, and there's no mention of English in the description.
I am going to get these three games on the Switch as I've never played them before as I didn't have a Vita back then though given that these are digital only, I feel like Limited Run will most likely have the physical versions for all three games separately or all together in a bundle on their site somewhere down the line. I also think that these three games will have the DLC already on the games that were released on the Vita and Steam so that it's already there when you start the games.
It really should have released years ago considering that the Re;Birth games were originally released on the Vita. I suspect that these will probably look and run like the PC version which was basically the Vita version a higher render resolution (though it is still unbearably blurry, anyone playing on PC should check out the Neptastic mod).
Speaking of Re;Birth ports I really wish they would port reVerse to PC. I get that the fishing mechanic was build around the PS5 controller but even without it, the other improvements such as the increased party size along with the additional characters not available in Re;Birth1 and the new graphics make a reVerse port worth it IMO.
Seems nice if it gets a physical release. Otherwise I would pass since I got a modded vita.
I feel like given that these are digital only, I am at least expecting the physical release being handled by Limited Run Games which would be a bit later on.

The lack of a physical version and the lack of a western PS4/PS5 release kills this on arrival for me.
The Re;Birth games are some of the games I desperately want to own physical copies of, considering I have the original PS3 trilogy in physical copies too. Even if I enjoy the Re;Birth games less than I do the originals, it'd still be nice to own them.
Not willing to sacrifice an arm and a leg for a Vita and the physical copies of Re;Birth1, 2 and 3 from the used market, they're pretty expensive. So yeah, missed opportunity, hard pass for me considering I already own these games digitally on Steam.

Why not release rebirth 2&3 on PS5 we already have reverse so it makes sense to release those games on the console. And besides the PS4 is on it way out the door anyway

I feel like we could get a physical release for all three games down the line, it just depends on what Limited Run Games does since they would handle the physical releases for the digital only games.

Better late than never... this should have been early on the switch lifespan and could have become the defacto waifu game on switch that doesn't requiere internet conection and gatsha mechanics... but the genshin and honkai games stole neptunia's spotlight

No they're not. What are you basing this on? The only reason they censored Sisters Vs. Sisters was because someone screwed up the ESRB rating. Also, this is the Switch so the games will have no content censorship.
I’m guessing that the reason why the PlayStation 4 versions of the Re;Birth trilogy is japan exclusive is probably due to the fact that the Californian SIE HQ has gone completely censorship crazy when it comes to anime style games

No plans for a Playstation version? Nah, you don't say. I couldn't point out a thousand instances of Sony wanting something censored. I mean shit, they censored "backs" in Alice Gear. I'll gladly take this on the Switch so long they don't make any changes and the additional PC content is bundled. Here's to hoping the rest of the series makes the jump! Not like I'm excited for the future of Neptunia given recent events.

@@therealjaystone2344 At the start of the PS4 generation they were better at this, PS had more titles than Xbox when it came to JP and niche content. After everything went to shit and they started censoring, I started noticing more titles migrating to Switch, and the differences were clear. The only time I ever buy anything on PS is if it isn't censored, I do my research, and I don't trust AAA unless the developers rely on their word like Shift Up and Stellar Blade.
Not even Square Enix can be trusted with their recent insult to their fans who bought into an already messy product that started with the censorship of Shiva and blatant disregard for the source material.
I'm still surprised FFXIV hasn't been censored yet, although it is an MMORPG, and give the accident that happened with the 2B Glamour (yes, this was an accident, it has been proven), it seems they learned a valuable lesson. FFXIV is the least censored FF title currently around (I say "least" because there have been some story moments that were poorly translated or misinterpreted the original intention, but that's a long story).
Why would anyone want PS4 versions of these? PS4 is now 11 years old.

Really, no PS version?? I'm done with the Switch at this point, incredibly slow load times with a terrible controller and bad resolution...maybe I'll check these out in a year or two if we get a Switch 2 that had backwards compatibility.
Switch 2 is the same architecture and it will run at 30fps
Playstation sucks with it's censorship. Switch is usually uncensored for these type of games (Sisters vs Sisters is an exception since it was done before due to a screw up IFI made with the ESRB descriptors)
