Agreed. I'd actually like to see Vulture show up in the sequel to Homecoming, only for him to actually save Peter from the new villain (who I'm guessing is going to be Scorpion), since the post-credits scene of Homecoming has Vulture basically trying to protect Peter's secret identity from Scorpion. After all, Keaton's Vulture isn't a criminal just for the sake of it, he just wants his family to have a comfortable and secure life, nothing more, nothing less. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if he also came to Peter's aid because he realizes that he would have done his best to make his daughter happy, and his own actions as Vulture ruined that for them.
I don't think that would be too out-of-character for him, especially if Peter happens to mention Vulture's situation to Tony at some point, and this makes Tony feel bad enough (since Tony is, in a way, responsible for him becoming Vulture in the first place) that he offers to ensure that his family is well taken care of (perhaps with just a little encouragement from someone like Cap), along with all other families who got shafted by the same situation as Vulture.

I've always loved Magneto as a character. Even though he was a "bad guy" in the X-Men for the most part, he was doing it for what he perceived to be the greater good of his kind. Whenever greater threats would rear their heads, he would ultimately team up with the X-Men to try and ensure their survival as a whole, which definitely makes him more of an "anti-hero" than a villain in my book.

Xavier will never understand the harshness of human kind(like what Magneto witnessed) and that is what makes Xavier ignorant and naive. @Yvaelle Před 6 lety +11

I've actually argued before that Roy is the hero. Deckard is the villain, he's killing his own kind, following unethical orders, in the interest of artificially maintaining a cruel status quo that unecessarily limits the lifespan of others. It's sort of reinforced by Deckard more or less raping Rachel, and his knowing he is a replicant and still carrying out his orders by choice (which he demonstrates he has, meaning his choice to kill replicants is intentional too).

I wouldn't say he used his powers for evil. He sees himself as superior because those that wronged him believed they were superior to him. After enduring all that shit for all his life he developed an eye for an eye philosophy.

Ozymandias is a psychopathic villain in the true sense. He condemns all those people to death on a whim which he acknowledges in the comic may not even make any difference anyway. Rather than confide in his team his fears, he acts alone and senselessly kills millions of people. He appoints himself judge, jury and executioner in direct opposition to everything The Watchmen supposedly stood for, and for which Rorschach gives his life for. His justification is paper thin, in reality his ego dictated his course of action, over and above any rarified sense of what is right.

He and his crew were rescued by the Enterprise which he then tried to murder the crew and take over the ship. He deserved to be stranded on that planet even if the star went nova forcing a harsh existence on him.

Real life is so much more complex, and good movie villains embody that complexity. Our desire to see things as simple and to have everything turn out for good is why the hero must always triumph.

@@StormhawkJuzo, btw, yes, I thought of that possibility. Still:
      1) you can't blame anyone for not getting sarcasm on CZcams, because there _are_ a lot of people who seriously say things like that here almost under every video.
      2) only someone who _thinks_ about X is inclined to _joke_ about X. I'm guessing, it's either you still thinking in terms of 'lessons' when watching something or you encounter people like that a lot and thus think it's a more actual joke than it is.
      P. S. Stop answering your own questions on behalf of others, it makes you look obnoxious, not smart.
      P. P. S. Now I know who got me arrested, you asshole.

Childish Ar Killmonger killed his girlfriend, turned his people against each other, tried to kill some of them, choked a Woman, tried to make sure there would never be another successor to the throne. Also he was upset at one person but made other people that had nothing to do with it suffer. Please explain why he should be on this list

ShiveRaye you completely missed Killmongers point, while the Wakandas were living it up in Wakanda, the other black people were living in poverty, getting killed by not only other people but their own kind. Wakanda has all the power to make a difference but didn’t because they didn’t consider them brothers. Even in Wakanda before T’Challa none of the other kings went to make peace with the outside tribe. While Killmonger end game wasn’t the best, his frustration with Wakanda made sense.

    • @marcusaustralius2416
      @marcusaustralius2416 Před 6 lety +2

I think that’s what makes him such an effective villain.
There are plenty of villains out there that do horrid things.
The Joker wants the world to burn in anarchy, Caesar wants to rule Vegas and the Reapers want to eradicate AI to protect life.
But Ozymandias is so effective because he doesn’t tell you his plan until it’s complete, and while truly monstrous, it’s extremely hard to argue against.
Caesar cloaks his evil in a robe of philosophical argumentation and the Reapers are deliberately Lovecraftian, but Ozymandias has hard evidence that what he has done is right, because he single handedly stopped a nuclear war.

It makes me wonder if Tony Stark ever realized he's responsible for the villains that he created. He ignored Aldrich Killian, took Quentin Becks technology as his own, renamed it Barf and fired Beck and Adrian Toomes was responsible for the salvage operations until Stark took it over. I also definitely agree with Cypher, if I was given the choice, I'd definitely take the blue pill.
