What's going on with this team? At the end of each game Oilers superstars taking a pounding! Zadorov cross check to Leon's tweaked lower back. Kane and Desharnais on the ice zero response, other than Leo's love tap that resulted in off setting penalties. Desharnais needs to step up and ragdoll Zadorov as best he can. Tonight's Zadorov targets McDavid's lower back as he's falling Soucey feeds him a cross check to the teeth. Desharnais wants his paycheck doubled 😮. I think not!
I find it extremely compelling that there is little to no discussion about the Systems play between the 2 Teams and the Coaching battle behind that. It is a primary impact. Why are the Oilers falling to pieces so fast and so completely. Anybody have any ideas on this? Kings were said to use a 1-3-1....so where are all the people who like to talk about that?
Oilers by nature are a laid back team ~ its their DNA~ Knob's has to get them to burn their tongue on the stove to FIND the urgency ~ that's his challenge. Knob's is pretty laid back himself...
Welcome to the same mistakes and problems as last year! This team needs to cover better and they need to hit the Canucks right where it hurts because that is exactly what they are getting. The goalie can't be Skinner next game. Also anyone not doing his job needs some bench time to remind them.
Playoffs are a game of inches. Cold hard reality is the Canucks team has been just good enough but Silovs has been world class. Consider that a mere .920 save percentage from Silovs and .900 from Skinner would have the Canucks down in the series instead of up. "There can be only one", and everything has to go right, unless goaltening doesn't Pickard deserves his shot... wake up call for the team as well
Canucks fan here. Brown has a point. Drai and McDavid have to be split up. Even if you guys win the next 2 games, by the time games 6 and 7 roll around Drai and McDavid will be drained. This rate isn't sustainable.

You have been dissing Sammy as long as I have been supporting him. Sucks to be punted from the playoffs again without having a clue how or why its happening doesnt it? Oilers need to do what they are told, but they dont listen very well.
The number one reason is not 3-0 oilers is skinner and samething against vegas .20 playoff games 10-9 3.49 GA .881sv%. Last 3 games 4.40 GA .793 SV%.Next games Campbell or pickard i dont trust them but skinner have to sit.

I'm not sure if we listened to the same podcast. I'm 20 minutes in and they've been talking about skinner most of the time.
There's no way in hell that Connor Brown deserves to get MORE ice time than Janmark or Ryan.
