Watching this makes me feel good about my $25 purchase of a Sansui 9090DB last Summer.
I have an 890db the model under this have had it since 1980 neveer dreamed they were worth even close to that
That's quite a bargain. I have an 8080DB I've been trying to sell for over a year, immaculate condition, and everything seems to think it's worth about $25. Perhaps they're right.
I used to have that Pioneer SX-3800. I gave it to my uncle to make up for him being forced to get rid of his setup. His then-wife wanted him to toss out his Pioneer rack system for being "too old". He bought it brand new in the 70's when he was in the military stationed in Greenland, of places.

This guy & his vintage gear prices are an "ABSOLUTELY JOKE!" 5 grand for a Sansui 9090db... Really? Gimme a break! $3500 is pretty much top dollar restored, but there's a sucker born ever minute. I guess Jethro must need some more expensive stupid looking sun glasses huh? 🙄
