You people are the reason why vintage stereo prices are so high and so hard to find. Thanks!
I agree most of that stuff is overpriced like that $200 sansui vcr from the late 90's and the RCA 3 Disc Receiver For $300. in the real world the vcr would probably bring about $50 the receiver maybe about $50 to $80. i know they have to make money but i think the prices need to be more realistic. but i will say a lot of the things they have there are very nice but i don't think i would buy anything from there because I'm cheap & like a great deal.
I think the reason why they're more expensive is because they only sell you well cared for items , then checked out by their service department, plus I'm not sure but I think they guarantee what they sell
"You people"??? Damn
This place is a complete fucking joke especially the owner. A real piece of work 🤣🤣🤣🤣 super lame!
Golden era of Hi Fi in the mid 70s and early 80s! Now the best HI Fi on the planet now!
Hey my fellow hi-fi brethren! I just love all kinds of music and equipment, be it vintage or high end. Keep spinning the vinyl, silver disk, reels and what ever! This 64 year old black man O.G loves it! Jam-out brothers and sisters. (We have a few awesome women in this male dominated hobby also, and I think the more the better for the high end future.) Welcome ladies with open arms!😊😊👍👍🙏🙏
From someone who has lived through the age of when these receivers were born. We used to connect a 2nd set of speakers in series between the positives of the B outputs and have what was called SQ, or Simulated Quadrephonic. Which is basically what you will find on cheaper amps for non Dolby Atmos surround sound. 😉
I loved it all. If I had a mansion you could visit half the vintage audio you sell because I'd buy it all. I'm addicted to vintage audio. I don't know why but the Luxman's captured my fancy especially the tube gear set. But I lack space now. The turntables were smokin' too. I adore that Pioneer RT-707 but I have 4 already. My favorite receiver today is my Sansui G-9000. The Just Audio tech that fixed my Sansui G-9000 replaced the bulbs with bright white LED's and it looks FANTASTIC! My Sansui G-9000 is a powerful beast. I had to install a $4,000 sound proof wall to protect my neighbors. What speakers have the sound, size and weight of the Pioneer HPM 100's? I LOVE Pioneer HPM 100's BIG beefy BASS sound!
The shop looks AMAZING!
I gotta get to Baltimore and visit your store!!! You have everything I've ever wanted. Great video! 👍👍👍
Beautiful!

I gotta make my way down there. Looking to add to my collection!❤
Looking good Spence!
I like everything I saw. Everything looks like it's in like new condition❤
Another great vid guys ! but hey, do you ever get in the H/K Citation Series 16/A 16S, 17, 17S or 15 ?
Some really nice stuff man.
Some vintage eye candy there!!!! Good to have seen you two in Tampa! Great video!
Sansui green light receivers steal the show
Thank you for good video from Sweden 🇸🇪🇺🇲🇸🇪
Not Pink! Superscope is Magenta! As a Marantz, Sony/Superscope Rep at the time they introduced that line it was where I learned the word Magenta! The sales pitch was the "Plant Lady" hippie woman who loved the Magenta and it was good for her plants! The line even had compacts with BSR ttble and 8trk.
All beautiful greetings
What's UP, y'all! LOVE the channel and all the terrific info you constantly put out. As a new audiophile, I'm looking for the best site to visit to get the latest & greatest pricing info on vintage audio. Suggestions?
see the burmester site and check their signature systems, i did it and bought it, to blame the tweeter on one of the doors of my 2015 E350 mercedes where i noticed this brand
the Luxman tube set with the turntable is really the most incredible system you did show in this video. The looks of the preamp are fabulous. Those are the components they made then which are absolutely top notch even for today standards. Really good idea to sell it complete. If you are a real enthusiast and have the money I'm sure you wouldn't like it any other way.. I wouldn´t, that 's for damm sure. BRILLIANT!! Thank you fellas 😊
Hey you never spoke about the big Marantz like that 4500 etc.. ?? or any of those Marantz.s ??
What brand racks are those?
I am old enough to remember a lot of these units. Lovely to look at. The prices are so high though! I can’t see buying these for great sound quality or reliability. Definitely for eye candy 😂
Definitely gonna be a fun one
I get it🤣🤣🤣
FYI. I sold audio equipment in the late 70s till mid 80s. As it pertains to the Sansui 9090 and 9090 dB. This model had a notorious unstable power supply that would blow and fry speakers. Sansui can out with the dB which supposed to be an improved model that was supposed to have resolved the unstable power supply. FYI
Great collection, but some of the prices - OUCH!!!
I was thinking the same thing, I kept seeing $4999 over and over. WAY too rich for me, I wonder how on earth they stay in business.
@@lorieandpatrickdavies7483 I am sure you can probably negotiate the prices, but still.... Yeah, I did see many $7999 How they stay in business, in most cases this is a hobby and passion for people and in most cases NOT primary source of income and they supplement this w other sources, as this is VERY expansive hobby to have antique Hi-Fi, know from myself :-) :-(
Sorry, prices way too high. Ok, marvellous pieces, but we're talking about 50 years old electronic stuff. Easily hard problem generators for the customer who doesn't have repairing skills.
when the rx came out i saw it working in a Life STyle exibition it had a deck working but stoped i inserted a jvc cassette they gave us in it´s pavillion and puty it there and make it fast the out -in cassette but i couldn´t make it stop working ,it seems for the first time nakamichi had something that worked, oh! and now i have a big colection of nakamichi ,mostly cassette decks all top end models since 74 till 95, i even have a gold and a not gold 1981 1000ZXL ,it belonged to my gone father
The Kenwood is missing the black tips on the switches. (broken off)
9090DB had a true complementary output section while 9090 uses all NPN transistors. Different driver boards, etc but most everything else is the same with just minor variation.
Are these amps USB compatible?
Nice price on that Yamaha A-S2200, I wonder what they traded up for?
Lenny I love the european products. Tandberg, Revox are so of the best made products that rivals the best Japanese products IMHO
What I’ve seen in discussions/videos on the 9090db is that when the Dolby board fails it screws up the rest of the receiver, and the repair is very time consuming and difficult, and have read many people who do repairs won’t even touch it. Bypassing the Dolby board is also an expensive repair. I believe the later Dolby boards with black ribbon cables are more reliable boards. Can’t remember the color of the original ribbons.
Prices are high for a reason. I bought a beat up 2245 for $400 American in early covid days. The guy who sold it to me said you could have bought it for $20 in the 90s from a pawn shop I wish I knew what I know now back then.
The sansui ax 7 is a mic /line mixer not a pre amp
It lacks a Teac 2340S 4 channel reel to reel
You need a Carver m.400-t
i have a complete B series from revox and still works perfect the system of rotating a rectangle to over the record ,inside all is ortofon but someone told me that it´s also sold under a diferent brand,i received recentelly my fatrhers things related with muisc because he passed away and one of the things is a complete B series system from late 70´s improved till mid 80´s, the system on the turntable is kind of linear tracking not tangential but always sounded perfect while playing records, before i couldn´t touch it now ,All is MIne !!!
i almost forget i´ve assembled in my listening room a exclusive pioneer system and it sounds amazing in my home, A C3 control ,Two M6 power amp.´s ,the 2401 twin speakers similar to a altec lasing monitor and the JBL´s . Call them twin because it as two big woofers and lot´s of wood ,the P3 turntable was restored maybe 10 years ago and it as a perfect sound with the original cartridge from pioneer, only add a reel deck from akai, and a looking new (because no one ever wanted it )but today looks very nice a CT-F2121 cassette deck, i´m curious to know how it sounds and also records, i was the one who bought it when younger and when buying a BMW it had inside a cassette player , the reason i started to record cassettes so i bought the cheapest deck ,before 8-tracks everywhere and all new music sold in fairs pirated ,well recorded and cheap, only in the car, sometimes in one of the four programs one would start to listen to one song and say "this next song is amazing" and nothing it stoped at the end of the first 40 seconds and nowhere in the 4 programs was the song we looked for, but 25cents at the time with good sound was fine ,the 8-tracks the most common and also the most hated system by users but never anyone started to use cassettes, that i know off
I would be like a kid in a. Candy store
Is all this Listed yet?
I always want to say yes but if you see something not listed be sure to ask
@@JustAudioHiFi will do because I think I see some Candy
i think i´ll make a room looking like yours but to post it is a problem, i have my next neighboor at 10 merters for the right but high plants so they can´t look into my yard but the problem with separated houses with big yards are robbery ,i´m not posting nothing because locals do search on youtube or facebook or even handbooks written with what houses have of fast sell value but i´ll make it looking that i´m abroad, like "see, these is my house on Azerbeijão". Luxman was always cool
i'm euphoric i live in connecticut.! just a little too far to drive to.
The RG really "appreciated" over the years I noticed. I love mine, but that price you have on it is OVER the top! I bet my 1010, 9500, RG and hpm 100's must be well over 5k? Ouch!
Actually this is high over dosage for vintage lovers like me, pls make only in few parts not in one video pls😂
Hola amigos please don't Deport me
Just so people don't think their stereos are worth these prices...these have all been gone thru before putting on the shelf. That's worth a lot.
Here in Canada the prices haven't crashed, but the covid HIFI bubble has burst. Guys are sitting on a lot of gear that's not moving.
@ThatGuyWithTheBeard I saw you at the Tampa Audio Expo, you're bigger in real life! :)
