I removed the exhaust valve completely and opened up the standard exhaust box. Removed the cat etc and welded in a perforated pipe. Welded everything up. I cut the standard baffle out of the exhaust silencer. It looked totally standard. I always wondered were the Beast was in these bikes. Did I find it!! Different bike. So much smoother and so much faster. WOW. Was going to get it properly tuned by these guys until gravel on the NC500 caught me out.
The nice thing about this mod. Its expectably quiet at low/medium speeds. Howls at revs.

Sounds great! Shame about the NC500 though, a beautiful place but not the first we have heard of accidents over there.
