    Super powerful bike however no balancer shaft makes it a no go for me. Which is why I have an mt10sp with it's buttery smooth crossplane crank engine and more than enough power for the road, yes I have bought your tune for it with a decat and scorpion serket end can, just about to do it and send the map to you. Great content keep it up hal

    Hello. How does the weather affect the tuning except the fact that cooler weather “ produces “ more power? For instance, if you tune a bike in mid summer a really hot day, how does the bike perform in November or really cold weather? Cheers Bisse , Stockholm, Sweden.

    Can somebody enlighten me? 1.How can it be that my OG file needs to be send out for remapping? KTM super duke 1290 r euro 5 file will be always the same (for Europe) right? 2. How can they remap my file so it covers my modifications? Say they did the tuning with long Akra pipe and full system, and I have short SC project with cat, and DNA filter. So I get some "general tuning" but not optimized to my own bike right?

      No the files will not be the same due to different software updates and versions from KTM. There is not just 1 software version for all European KTMs. We can remap bikes with those mods as we have seen them on the dyno before. We don't film every bike we do and post it on CZcams, it would be repetitive. We have also developed plenty more bikes that are not on CZcams yet with all types of exhausts and air filters but they are either with the editors or haven't been filmed because on the day it was not possible :)

      Stays the same. MPG is massively affected by the journey and your right hand.

    I saw a post on the 750 Hornet site. You had done one but disabled the oxygen sensor. Do you think you will be able to crack the Honda ECU. I'd like to keep it std but have a decent air fuel ratio.

    Is the throttle at 100% open really open throughout the whole rev range? It sounds and looks like it dies op before the rev limiter. Thanks for posting al these great vids!

    The section we have to use the most on the road is the 25 to 50 % range, so that's a much nicer delivery .

      Exactly, a complete transformation in rideability. You will notice fuelling at the top end on the Euro 5 bikes is actually not to bad, as they don't test for emissions here.

    As far as I know Sportster S has different heads and cams compared to Pan America. Torque seems to drop quite rapidly after 7k rpm.

      @@blackstorm01 the short answer is no. If a manufacturer wants to void a warranty, legally they have to prove that the modifications have caused the failure. Some manufacturers are better than others. Generally if your manufacturer has a good reputation for upholding warranty claims then you’re generally fine. If on the other hand your manufacturer has a reputation for trying to wriggle out of all warranty claims then they will use any excuse they can.

    Interesting video as I also have a EURO5 with wings can and CRT dongle. Some questions... Map 1 was 100% throttle and Map 2 50%. both charts went up to 10k rpm. Can you explain more the difference between the two maps? Was the DB killer installed during this dyno session?

    Did you keep stock ECU? If so how did you map it? Is there a specific honda dct communication tool?

      We always remap directly to the ECU. We make sure there is no need to fit extra parts to the bike that can be annoying or get in the way and having to thread wires through. With direct ECU remapping there is a lot more to play with to perfect the bike.

      This is not something that we personally go out and test. Measuring this on the dyno is also not reliable data due to the variables and its not real world riding.

    I currently own a Streetfighter V4S 2022 myself and haven’t long had the suspension re-sprung and setup to my weight, what an absolute transformation it’s been!…hugely capable and rewarding bike to now ride! My question is, I’m currently running a full stock system and I’m interested in having it mapped. Is there a significant difference to be had from changing to an Akra, Arrow, BHP UK system (particularly for fast road use) or can impressive gains across the entire rev range be achieved with the stock system/Catalytic Converter still in place? The stock system still sounds really nice in my opinion and is neat and tidy, just trying to weigh up whether spending approx £2k or so (exhaust&map) is worth it for road use over a simple Stage 1 software map?
