Me too! When I adopted my cat and she wouldn't eat right away I started crying - lol! One time she puked on the carpet and my mom said: that's okay, children sometimes make a mess - and these words were so true! They're our precious babies.

As a foster dad i can say I have cried over a kitten. My family almost kept one but we found the best home for him. We still keep up with his people. They adopted a kitten from my last litter too

This one has me with tears running down my face. When I was a teenager, my uncle worked at a golf course and found a litter of kittens (eyes were still closed) whose mother had been hit by a car. Only one of the kittens was still alive when he found them. I was being homeschooled at the time, so he gave the kitten to me to take care of until she was old enough for a forever home. I certainly didn’t know her forever home was with me. I wouldn’t have given her up for a million dollars, so I can’t even imagine how hard it is for these people to foster. 12 years later, she’s still with me, and she’s been with me through everything. She also just knocked a jar of makeup brushes off my desk... Love my girl 💕 lol

There's a stray cat prob few months old(cuz her nose and her paws still have a pinkish tone) I feed her daily, due to some reasons I can't take her inside my house , but my garden and backyard are home to her. she helped me cure my depression . Nothing more satisfying than holding her in my hands...

Baby kitties!!! I got my current kittie after someone dropped her off at the end of a cul de sac that my friend lives on. He already had 3 indoor pets and couldn’t take another. Mia is now a fat happy spoiled cat and I couldn’t be happier.

@@acrostrike8880 I see were you are coming from, but as someone who fosters kittens myself, I can say if she had, it would be a lot harder to foster more. So even though it's hard, you have to know that giving those kittens to another home is best for that kitten and future fosters.

When I was fostering for my first kitty I saved, I cried for solid 3 days when it was time to let go. I still meet him time to time and he had grown so healthy and happy with a caring mother. I still miss him greatly but as long as he is happy and healthy, that is all that matters.
I adopted one of my cats because nobody wanted him because he was ugly so the shelter was going to put him down if I didn't adopt him

Nikki, you are a special foster mama indeed. I could ever have parted with these three little angels, not after all the love and care that went into keeping them alive - ESPECIALLY that adorable little Bagel! I started volunteering at a kitten nursery, taking care of the sickest babies - the ones that needed the most care, like feeding every two hours, tube feeding, etc.
It did not take me long to learn that I am a complete foster FAILURE! My last batch came to me as newly found babies of approximately three weeks. Two little girls and a boy. They each weighed a HALF pound..The vet didn’t hold out much hope that ANY of them at that age and that WEIGHT would survive… I’m so proud to say they are all alive, well, happy little terrorists who rule over everyone who were in this house long before they were! My part dog, who is part Terrier puts up with them and loves to play chase with them. It took a little time and more effort to get my other four cats to accept them, but eventually, they did.
I knew it was going to be a BIG ADJUSTMENT in the house if I brought them home, but the SECOND I laid eyes on these three, I KNEW they were not leaving my house again! It took them all of about 10 seconds to steal my heard for good.
I wish I could be as good as you are about making room for the new kittens who need a special mama to nurse them back too health. Keep doing the wonderful work you are doing!🥰🥰🥰
As soon as I saw this, I burst into tears because of how heart touching it is to see that wonderful little kitten be so strong and brave, made me so sad but happy at the same time.I'm glad bagel found a loving home, and has a great time.

I think that being "foster parents" to four legged babies is such a great thing. Sure, you get attached, how can you not be, when you become responsible for another life, but watching them grow, and becoming the fuzzy child that they are supposed to be, and the perfect family adopts them, wow, that must be the most awesome feeling in the world, just knowing that you made an impact on that life.
