The Cyrusher Kommoda is a full suspension step thru frame fat tire ebike with a 14ah battery capable of hitting about 28mph and claims 50 miles of range. This Cyrusher Kommoda ebike review will show you the hill climbing ability, acceleration, range, brakes, and everything you need to know about the Cyrusher Kommoda before you buy one online today.
It's not uncommon to see a higher price on a full suspension fat tire electric bike. This ebike isn't perfect, but it's pretty good. Mostly it'll come down to what style ebike you want, this may fit the bill for you, but if it's not what you're looking for watch another bike review on this channel :)

Honestly one of the most underrated CZcams channels I’ve ever seen ❤
Thanks 🙏
thank you, another ride to consider, the folding pedals are nice to have if you end up having to walk your bike for whatever reason
Good point, I didn’t think about that. Although I would take the better riding experience over the better walking beside bike experience personally
Great video as always
Interesting information on the Cyrusher Kommoda Ebike thanks
Fun video. Your cycle area looks beautiful.
Some nice features. One thing I wish a lot of these companies would do is a slightly more expensive upgrade to 8 speed Altus gears that offer a Hyperglide cassette instead of a freewheel and also better shifter. The shifting difference is large and is one thing that's very difficult for the end user to upgrade. Cost increase is minimal. Also folding is nice on a bike in this formfactor.
True, it’s always interesting to see which companies cut corners where
My bike has 9 levels of assist. You can drop the speed limit down a few mph and go in like 2 mph increments from 10 to 28. Pop it back to max and get a 3 mph increase in each level 13-38 mph or so. .
i like all the e bike review you make .i think i might buy the solar eclipse. thanks again. thumbs up ....peace out
thanks for the review. i wonder how the Cyrusher Kuattro Step through ebike 750w would check out with your review. thx
looks decent, perhaps we'll see on the channel this summer, thanks for watching!
Love the battery percentage instead of bars. Much more accurate.
Volts would be even better .. Not many show volts unfortunately
True, as long as it is accurately calculated by the formula. I just rode a bike yesterday that shows 0% battery at 44v when there is actually a solid 30% remaining. Voltage readout is most reliable in my opinion, but you have to know how to interpret it which is less user friendly.
Even if you have bars like my Letric XP the bars are false I can had the bars be at below half a like 2 bars but still have half battery
Use the watts meter if you have one more accurate
@@RosinDaddy5280all bikes need to display volts. It's gonna be almost a must in the future. People can convert volts with battery sag and without sag to get best idea of remaining range. I can go over 20 miles on the Kepler in low assist at 11-12 mph and still see 100% ..then after 99% it goes 25 miles to 50% then 25 miles to 12-15% . not very accurate
@@kevinnashskitchen3517a little late to the party but you can change the % to volts in advanced settings.
Have you reviewed the Olivia w the 750 bafang and the 52 volt 17ah battery? Just wondering I love your reviews. They are the best and so honest. Thanks
Matt, when are you going to review the NIU e bike? And that FLX babymaker ll,do you think it’s a problem if the battery is integrated in down tube so you can’t take out.
TailHappyTV, you should try reviewing the Eahora Romeo which got a very generous battery capacity. The big wheels on the Eahora Romeo are very nice as well. Eahora range claims isn’t far off so It’s very accurate for the most part. Too bad that I don’t even have nearly the amount of money to purchase the Romeo. The Romeo electric bike is the best bang for your bucks without a doubt.
Thanks for the recommendation! I’ve been eyeing that one, hope to have it on the channel soon
Another nice review, one thing I have noticed is a lot of bikes in the price points
are all very similar,. The comment below me I agree putting an 8 speed would
add very little cost. Nice bike but again there are so many just like this onr. Thanks
Could the slight decline on the rack like a safety feature to keep passengers from slipping back?
In the non pedal assist mode, how is it with slow casual cruising speed, will it cruse slow or is fast its only speed
I would be delighted to see a review of the Cyrusher Ranger.
hi , im looking for a super 7 kinda bike and I'm only 5ft, can you recommend what would be suitable, My original Ebike I go which is a specialized one is just too high for me., they didn't do a small .so I think a bike like this would be better but like the Super 7 look
id like to see how the Cyrusher scout pro compares to this one
Have you tested/reviewed the Lacros Cyclone? Very similar.
Could have done with that today. I done 34 miles and now I'm knackered, having not cycled since last summer.
I like your reviews, mostly. You could go more in depth for contrller programming. Especially when you have a complaint about defaults . Keys are whether you can set 1-9 pas levels, and whether you can program power for each level. That tends to make cadence better than torque, because you can dial in you "cruise control" to 9 points.
Good point, I should mod that
CYRUSHER makes good quality Fat Tire Ebikes 👌, the XF660 I got is good for flat land.
Try the magicycle mini step thru! 52v 20AH with 750w 1100w
Whenever I watch videos on this channel I just keep thinking about how I know exactly what part of the GTA 5 map he is biking through.
I basically moved to gta 5, that's how I learned my way around here. need to learn the cheat code to spawn a tank
@@TailHappyTV Look out for the Oppressor Mk.2s and jets! Not even bicycles are safe from their homing missiles!
say i am riding in pas2 but i dont want to pedal, can i the use throttle only to get up to max speed of 28mph
yes
Bought 2 of the Komoda's pretty nice from a 10 I would give it a 5 on customer service. We spent 5k on bikes had serious issues with billing Billed 10 k double bill. Yes it was taken care of but took a week wasn't impressed. One of them had a front fender bent up Have yet to see new front fender. Accessories we ordered are still not here working on over a month. Bike I would give it a 9 rating out of 10 very impressed with bike. Yes through all of the BS would buy another. Just do not expect customer service REGARDLESS of what reviews say.
Which episode did you put the skid mark in the floor? Is this a trick to get me to watch all your reviews? Genius.
Haha! It was during the Solar Eclipse review on my other channel, “Juiced Joyrides”
@@TailHappyTV Cool - I’ll definitely check it out. I don’t even own an E-bike - I just like your videos. Cheers!
Matt, have you heard of FLX Babymaker ll ? Interesting name :)
yes I have, very memorable name 😆
Your first ebike is probably the most important purchase, but what i'm looking for is my second. Where should i go to upgrade from my Lectric XP2?
Wired freedom? I wanna get it on the channel soon to evaluate it, really just depends on what you’re looking for I guess
Thanks for all your great reviews. Are you getting Cyrusher Ranger to review? I would love to know if the Ranger or Cyrusher Trax would be an excellent choice for Sedona mountain bike trails?
Do you have info on how a persons weight effects top speed? You said you weigh 200 lbs. I weigh 245. Im guessing I wouldnt get the range you do but can I still hit that 27 mph?
I’d say that is accurate, on flat ground you’ll hit the top speed of 27ish, it’ll just accelerate a bit slower and consume more watt hours from the battery to do so. It will consume more battery holding the top speed, but mostly wind resistance is what is the big energy hog at high speed
I didn't notice any top picks, best or ranked videos.
Can u start it in pas 5
This seems similar to the Velotric Nomad. Which would you suggest?
Nomad is much more powerful, pretty different bikes really
step through e bikes , if i go somewhere and want to lock my bike up to a bike rack or something else , where would you put the chain or cable on the bike to secure it from being stolen? THAT'S THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE WITH THOSE TYPE OF BIKES
it comes with pedals? why?
I want a dual battery one of these.
Send this dude the Cyrusher Ovia for review.
⚡️👍🏽love mine
Don't see the hype in this ebike. Great review!🚲😎
No hype needed wife and I bought 2 yes there are issues but would buy another. Customer service is over rated.
whats the strongest motor you've tried?
Wired Freedom, for bikes under $2k anyway
@@TailHappyTVin reality, it’s probably $2200, because wired doesn’t do free shipping whereas a lot of others doing free shipping.
Hyping it up because youtubers are being given them to keep if they review them, totally unbiased reviews from all the youtubers 😂😂
Well I have a kommoda and everything presented is accurate and factual 😂😂😂
I have one too, and everything he says is for real in my experience. I bought it for exercise, and go low and slow, the 50 mile range is real.
@@brokencarpenter 50 mile range on low and slow is kinda bad tbh
Yes, you could spend thousands of dollars on an eBike czcams.com/users/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ and get something much higher quality. However, if you're looking for a basic model to try out eBiking this is a great choice. The assembly is easy as far as bikes go (took about an hour for me to do, I'm not an expert). All tools needed are included. I added the plastic mud guards you see and a more comfortable seat. The other reviews are correct that you're probably going to want a better seat (Giddy Up! Bike Seat is what I got - super comfortable). The battery easily handles a 2-4 hour ride if you add some of your own pedal power. I haven't even gotten it up to top speed yet - it is very fast. Components are not top of the line, but decent for the price and work just fine. It works great on dirt roads and singletrack and pavement although too heavy to do tricks or any serious technical mountain biking. I'm looking forward to using it a lot over the summer. Tons of fun!
This is great and then there is the Cyrusher Ranger!
This vs Velotric Nomad 1. Pros and cons?
dude, they're so different I don't even know where to start. Nomad 1 is way more powerful.
Wow on the web sight the Kommoda is NOT offered in blue? Yet here you are in a blue Kommoda ? Also this thing really could use a bigger battery for better range. Great review though.
Thanks for all these great reviews. More reviews of bikes without fat tires would be nice.
I think you were to quick to forgive the poor alignment of the rear rack.
Besides looking bad the rear rack tipped forward means that something like a milk crate on the rack would tilt toward the back of the rider and would probably hit the back of the seat
That bike is a bad design. The crank and pedals are too close to the ground. And the suspension flex puts them even closer to the ground.
Can't pedal confidently into corners....that's not safe.
I would bet that is the reason for foldable pedals…
Totem ranger bike?
I would like to try this bike before I buy one
I could see twist throttles aggravating someone's carpal tunnel injuries. Are thumb and twist controls the only method to regulate how much energy is supplied by an e-bike?
Other than pedaling, I believe so
Price
Even if the extra battery makes the bike longer. But then it turns into a minivan.
Check it out "samebike" and "Akez ebike"?
So this vs the nomad? Which wins?
They are very different Bikes really, personally, I would choose the nomad. It’s a much better style bike for actually pedaling, and I like the relaxed handlebar position, and it has more power, and it fits me better as a tall guy.
What if you’re a short person 5.2 living in SF near the beach?
@@ncalcamper get 20 inch wheels with step thru frame, it will fit you better than 26 inch wheels
@@TailHappyTV thanks for the speedy reply! I like the Kommoda can do hills city and beach riding. Any other suggestions? I can go to $2k
You see these e bikes like the Stealth Bommer that have 72V and up to12000W? They can reach speeds of 80mph😳they slap pedals on them just so they can call it a bike and not a motorcycle :) I’m sure nobody is pedaling these bikes and if they were it would be ghost pedaling. Not that I would mind going that fast, but I like pedaling for exercise
😆 I have one of those, no pedals though
If there are no pedals, does that mean it’s a motorcycle?
I do the tire off the ground on my bike and it goes over 46.mph😂
😆 nice, “theoretical max” in a vacuum on the moon 🌙 ⚡️🤙
Mine too, the speed limit on the display can't be set higher than that so I bet it could spin even faster if allowed to lol. On flat ground it goes about 35mph.
QUE LOCO
Me too heh heh
Oney laws thats what is going to get e bikes banned in some citys
Why doesnt at least one of these makers add a feature that when you pedal, you are recharging the batteries? WTF is wrong with them? Its common sense, and you could extend the bettery time indefinitely!
😆 because it is less efficient then just immediately putting your power to the ground via pedals. If you were to pedal 100 watts of power to the pedals you’d lose some of that power in the chain and stuff before put to the ground, but it’ll you used that same power from your leg as and sent it through an inverter to charge a battery you’d immediately lose some % then even more running it back to the motor and eventually to the ground. Hope this helps.
@@TailHappyTVhow about regen braking?
I kind of like the Aniioki out of all the Ebikes..
Maybe they don't know any better?
Dude maybe you can consider setting good example and not blow stops signs like you do.
Good idea
I'm not paying $1700 for somthin that only barely does 30mph... Idc if the mf is made of chromoly steel and looks like a Harley... That's just highway robbery...
Step through? So it is a ladies bike. Gents bikes are available and with the crossbar are more rigid and therefore need less effort/energy to ride.
