Absolutely terrible blink micro. Honestly, I'm only a M3 Random Player but if I did that fight I would've killed the zerg with Zero losses because the Zerg was NOT prepared for the attack and in those situations, honestly a single stalker shouldn't even die and you should easily snowball to a win. Simply, every time a stalker loses it's shields you just blink it back. If the Zerg does not have a critical mass of lings to get the surround when they make their initial engagement, then they shouldn't even be able to kill a single stalker and the Protoss quickly snowballs to a win within one or two more warp ins.
It's okay to play these builds to practice your micro, but if your blink micro is this poor then you can't expect to win by playing a blink build.
he probably had a big dopamine rush early on where blinking on top of siege tanks felt fantastic.

I think the ghost is still OP, but with the current nerf, I think we're all OK with that.
Except for that removal of the +5HP upgrade for the Baneling because of... Serral, which I think is a mistake, this is the most balanced patch in the history of Starcraft.
If you lose, it's your fault. Yes, some builds are OP etc. etc., but just enjoy the game.

The difference between a 3k player and a 4k player is simply the time they invest in the game.
As a 3k plat1 Protoss, I play once maybe twice a week. This means that my hands simply missclick a lot of commands in the first games.
As a 3.2k Diamond 3 Protoss, I played 3-4 times a week last season. It means that my missclicks compared to the number of games didn't matter that much.
If you want to go above Diamond 2, you have to play at least 5-6 days a week. Maybe 1-2 hours a day.
It's all about practice. The mechanics.
Also, if you play on a daily basis, you can tray a different built every day, like 4 Gate blink today, 3 Gate Robo tomorrow, 2 Gate Stargate into Blink into Robo the day after tomorrow etc.
But if you play like once a week, you just chill, your game is mostly based on scout and react, you don't actually practice.
So, basically, yes... 3k MMR is for people who have families and jobs, love the game, but they watch more than they actually play it.
You can watch this video on your phone having your coffee before going to work, for e.g., like I just did.
The point is you can enjoy this absolutely unique game any way you can. IMHO it's definitely worth it.

2:20 that reminded me of a local company that makes cheap soda with weird but weirdly accurate flavors. At one point they released a popcorn flavored soda. It was exactly like drinking popcorn. It felt greasy and with a hint of charred kernels. The taste was spot on, and it made this soda disgusting to drink. Their other flavors are also on point but the specific choices makes them go down well, like strawberry milkshake or bubblegum.
I wonder if the company is run by scientists. Because those flavors are the prime example of "too preoccupied with whether they could and not asking whether they should"

This is the reason you open with a zealot or an Adept to full wall, so you have gas for tech.
There was no build order, there was no wall, so losing that first 2 stalkers could be a good thing, because he went back to macro 😂

A red flag for this IMBA should have been he had the indicted race marked as Terran.
I make the exact opposite mistake, I have a habit of leaving games I'm actually winning cuz I think I'm losing... having to train myself to stop doing that. In a tournament a few weeks ago, I was beating a Protoss with the Proxy 2x Marauder build, I though it was over because had a battery & some units & I only had 3 Marauders with more building - I didn't count just how many workers I'd killed, they even messaged me after the game saying I was winning, I watched the replay... dude had 5 workers left. I had that one won, I just needed to back up for a moment & group up 5 or so Marauders & finish it.
Slowly training myself, don't leave until I'm absolutely sure I'm dead because anything can happen, Move Commands are a common mistake in the leagues I'm playing in.

i really loved the 5 zealots just standing in the middle of nowhere. They were the only army supply the Protoss had at that time too, 5 zealots standing nowhere vs 40-odd supply of Zerg army. Don't think lings were the problem :D

I lost a lot of MMR yesterday because of lags, then watched the ESL playoffs and found out that it's a bug and we should remove our language filter. Maybe I'll check that later, if I have the time.

At any point during his "blink timing" he used some of that 1600 mineral bank while emptty on gas , he could have warped in 7 zealots to tank he probly wins that fight.
Realistically, he should have just sniped the third, taken his own third, and started teching

If this guy just warps in zealots with his 1k bank instead of waiting to warp in stalkers. he basically wins. Like i know he is tunnel visioned af, but he can actually warp in zealots against pure ling, take a third base and maybe even drop a dt shrine while getting a forge and starting charge. All of these could have been afforded while he's floating so much. He sees the opponent making nothing but lings but decided that blink stalkers are necessary since he researched blink. Like wtf?

I remember doing a miserable 12 pool, floading 2k minerals at the 2 minutes mark into triple expansion (yeah 4 hatcheries like that for no good reason) and then winning just by spamminf roach against a protoss

2 zealots warped in as his door at home and he wins. Even better if a full cycle of zealots at home at some point. Also, if all they're making is zerglings, why not do a round of zealots on the front lines, especially when you're low on gas.
It often seems to me , once Protoss players have blink, they feel obliged to warp in only stalkers. It even galls me in pro games , tough i admit i might be not understanding somethng there. But it jumps to my mind every time: " Dude you are fighting against pure lings for 15 seconds, maybe warp in some units that actually fight ling well in the next cycle, not more stalkers. Nope, more stalkers that die achieving nothing"

Not following up a blink stalker attack with chargelots when fighting Zerg feels like a massive mistake, like mass blink stalker is going to prompt a massive ling response (or possibly roaches, but lings are far better vs stalkers), +1 Chargelots will absolutely demolish that.
