I live in Australia, and it is NOT rude to tip!! However it is not required / not expected of you to tip ☺
Correct!
The reaction of that dude in the gym was pretty cool :D
Ludwig Ri so sweet
Love the excitement from that gym employee.
so did I! lol
In Europe tipping is kinda similar to the US. The only difference is that tipping is not mandatory like in the US, so the tips are lower too. But other than that: you can give just the tip or go balls deep and just leave the nuts hanging out.
ListenToThisVid Loooooooool
Lea G you should see their paycheck... and no benefits too, thats not even legal in my country....
in the UK 10% of your bill is a pretty standard tip
I'd never want to work as a waiter. When I was 17 tho I worked as a busser and the waiters here made 200$ on their pay checks are solely relied on tips. It sucks
In the US waiters or waitresses look at you with distain when you don't tip. It may not be mandatory but similar to how shaking hands may not be mandatory, if you don't do it you look really fucking weird.
Christian the typa nigga to say he hit a PR on time spent at an expo
lolololol
Courtney Dolyn do you comment on everything?😂
LOLD HARD HAHAHHAHAHHA
Julian Marino yeah you're slacking lol
Just had a pizza and done a little shredding of my own. Mozzarella and cheddar to be exact.
Muscle Eire Lol you look good bro no need to worry.
Muscle Eire I feel so bad for people that have to comment daily tryna scrub for subs
as long as its funny
pro tip: don't use cheddar on pizzas, noob
Muscle Eire always keeping it shredded !
@6:50 the same reaction I have looking at alphalete prices
luis almaraz geez Louise
hahahahah im fucking dead
luis almaraz haha Americans have it good when it comes to prices of clothing! but their avg salary is a lot less than us. sooooo.... yeah makes sense why he reacted like that
For real!!
truuuu
Sell the shirts pre cut. I always screw up when I try.
The guy at 9:00 was great. He is just minding his own, working, then standing in front of him is the guy he sees on CZcams from America! Like what is happening right now! Pretty cool.
No in Europe tipping is not considered rude
kittieconvoy well that's not true.. I live here and nobody expects tips. waiters earn quite a bit here compared to American waiters
kittieconvoy it's the same in the U.S.
Not true. In the UK, waiting staff get paid at least minimum national wage. They don't expect tips but it's a nice gesture if they're service was exceptional and they did a great job.
THE BLOOD, THE SWEAT, THE TEARS ,THE GRIND,THE TRAVELING,THE SPENDING,THE FILMING,THE DAILY READING OF HURTFUL COMMENTS MAKE IT ALL WORTH IT WHEN YOU CAN HAVE A MOMENT LIKE @9:07
its not rude to tip in England, and shouldn't be any where in the world, you are thanking them and giving them extra for great service! ye in america the hourly pay is less and most of there wage is in tips, but you would have to be mad to be offended by someone giving you extra money for your job!
That guys reaction was legit hahaha
for real tho lolol
I remember when you were here two years ago for gym shark can't believe that's how long I've been following you for! Big ups man! you're doing good! been binge watching these lately
same girl!
Hahaha That guy's reaction was AMAZING!! That is very rewarding :) changin' lives! 👊🏼
absolutely agree
I may have started in January.. But just surpassed 32 lbs lost in all.. Summer Shredding is stroooong for helping out with those late night cardio sessions 👌🏼

Soo much great content these days Guzmann!
You and Heidi are both my go to for inspiration and motivation. You both are great with your business as well as your knowledge of fitness and health. I have been watching you guys for a while now and will continue as long as you make videos :-) So Thank you so much!!!!!
I lived in japan for a year and it was the same, they didn't accept tips. It took some getting use to but It was nice to know how much your meal/drinks were ACTUALLY going to cost and not have to factor in the 20% tip.
I like how you think asking a chef to use non-stick spray will actually make them use that, most restaurants don't even use that and will cook it like normal
Want to learn how to speak Australian... Say "rise up lights". Congratulations you've just learned how to pronounce "Razor blades" like real Australians! 👌🏼😱
Mathieu timbro hahahaha
Mathieu timbro haha :)
Mathieu timbro im fuckin dead😂😂
I know😂 it's a silly trick but and accurate way to pronounce it!
lmao
I was at the Arnold and your hole team killed it . The love your team gave us was amazing 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻. Thank you 😃😃
I really enjoy your vlogs Christian and in my opinion I think you are one of the most genuine fitness people on youtube that I know of. Please continue with what you do! Would mean the world if you could answere this.
That intro is so awesome!
Chrono no man I mean the summer shredding intro lol!
Teddy Mazrin Fitness I think its actually pretty gay. . .and the more I watch this guy, the more his mannerisms and hand movements make me think he's suspect.
In the U.K it's not frowned uppon or required to tip, but i don't think anyone would mind
BRUHHH THE VIDEOS JUST KEEP GETTING BETTER!! Who needs preworkout when you have Christian's videos to watch :)))))
Yes the look on your face on how much things cost in oz!!! It's not really rude to tip it's actually shows your grateful for the service!
Make the shirts pre cut bro!! Make your own design cut sleeves
Victor Osuna yessssss
Victor Osuna Gay
What song is playing in background threw the video, sounds chill
The clip with the gentlemen from the gym was so awesome! Good for him! Also I think Tokyo joes has poke bowls now if you have that in Texas but it's not as good as the real deal 🙃
1- There is a poke restaurant in Houston, Pokii Eatery, on I-10 and Kirkwood. 2-180kg is 396 pounds, 125 kilos is 275 pounds, I'm going to assume it was 125 kilos. 3- 12:41 just going in raw, niceeeeeeeeeee 4-They are called one and a quarter squats
I was a gymnast for 19 years and after being an athlete for so long the motivation slows down but your videos have helped me crush the gym each and every time! THANK YOU CHRISTIAN for all that you do and I cannot wait for SUMMER!!
How about we do that sick collab thing then? ;)
We do but we don't tip in Australia. It's not frowned upon if you do tip, we are just not used to it so we can get awkward. Australians just normally get compliments for service and food 💪🏼 We are pretty chilled here and don't mind not getting tipped
I can't stop dying at 2:23 lmao your face Christian hahahaha I love you man !!!
Anyone else kinda miss the old intro, 'ive beeen here all the timeee!'
ProjectCDRFIT A little. I really miss the 2016 Summer Shredding intro.. it starts like this: "4 years ago.."
-Tom - that intro was sick
ProjectCDRFIT I can't get use to the new intro either haha
put this comment to the top so Christian can see it
I'm still trying to figure out what the new intro says! Well, the second part of the lyric I mean.
Am I the only one who totally blocks out the intro and just imagines "I've been hereeeee allll the tiiiiiiiiiiimmee" you gotta bring it back CG!
I was a bartender in Australia for years and loved getting tips! There is always tip jars in coffee shops and bars! Maybe it just depends where and who ur tipping but I live in Australia and never thought it was rude to tip!
It's crazy to see the impact CG has on people's lives. Keep motivating and inspiring us!💪
120kg
Come to Canada Christian!!!
Travis Moriarty I heard he's not allowed there anymore
oh shit, why's that ? :(
I work in a bar in England and it's great to be tipped, showing that your doing a good job serving the customer and they believe you deserve a tip, 20p - £1.00 each time or they say take your own (own drink) low wage so getting tips is great
That fan at the gym was so nice.
WHATS THE SONG/INSTRUMENTAL PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND!?!?!?
australia is very much like UK in the sense that mannerisms are very similar..tipping isn't very common at all in the UK. its not offensive to do so but it's irregular
Houston has a couple of Poke' spots, which all are new within the past year.
Listing according my most favorite:
1.Ono Poke in Montrose-ish area
2. Pokii Eatery Memorial/Katy
3. North Shore Poke Co, Westhemier
There is also, Pokiiology and Seaside Poke.
That guy was so excited! lol He didn't know what to do.
I too have the same reaction at Alphalete clothing 6:48 :D
Ofc christian is the type to wear unreleased all white yeezys in the rain
fr haha
Melbournian here,
Tipping isn't considered rude by any means. It's definitely appreciated by most, but it's not necessary here. Tipping here is extremely rare. You can live out your whole life here and not give a single tip to anyone, nobody will think you're rude.
any else having a cardio sessions as long as the video? i like the 30 min video's more so my cardio sessions are longer
#TEAMBULK
I'm in Melbourne Australia!! We talked at the Arnold day 1. My brand is Beliachi! Thank you Christian
I'm Australian and have worked in hospitality for many years. It isn't mandatory to tip here, but if you are tipped, it just shows that you provided really good service or the food was really good. I have never been offended, and personally don't feel that anyone should be offended by it. If you work hard, and customers recognise it or can show appreciation for it - GO YOU!! :) xx
0:30 song name please ??
Johan Glossner - Turn It Up Ahlstrom Remix (Instrumental)
whats the song that is playing in the background throughout the video?
Fatal Soul I'm trying to find that song also haha let me know if you find it
Pretty sure it's darude-sandstorm
Fatal Soul found it yet!?!?!?
search for shredded songs.
Sound kind of like Shape of you by Ed Sheeran
I'm from Australia, and it's not rude to tip... however, tips are by no means expected in normal restaurants/cafes. Personally, I would only tip in quite a fancy restaurant where I found the service exceptional. We don't usually tip for average service :)
I see you with the Flyknit Racer Goddess, nice shoe cop. Nabbed a pair myself. Keep up the content!
How dare you try and give someone a tip!!! You're a monster trying to show your generosity an appreciation to your server by giving them money lol other countries are silly
No one in Australia finds tips rude, I live here and I've never heard that in my life. It just isn't expected, every workplace is required to provide you a wage you can live off so it isn't needed.
name song minute 0:20?
?
I can't get over the intro. gives my chills.i love it
Sometimes you just have to make things happen to reach your goals. Amazing video man!
What happened to project x?
ive been thinking the same thing!
The things CG does for a more eye catching thumbnail is brilliant 😅💪
AesLetic Physiques I thought about this too haha
click bate master!
having the courage to ask does really work, I'm on a cut, but was at 5 guys for a friend's birthday. They managed to hook me up with a burger minus the beef patty, buns and cheese. fitted my macros pretty well
Hope everyone is progressing well on the summer shred!!!

Joshua Medrano any progress is good progress ! Still got plenty of time to dial in more now that you know how your body has responded to what you've been doing.
thank you :)
Joshua Medrano work harder! you can do it
Joshua Medrano slowly but surly!!!! 3.5 is better then nothing or even gaining weight!!!! Just keep pushing!!!!!
Great Episode ! Great Workout !
Great video man!
Christian bro, go heavy and do a ton of volume on the seated calf raise machine fuck everything else for your calves. Your soleus muscles are so underdeveloped, and that's what makes your calves look bigger instantly!
Fuck outta here with your faux-science knowledge. Guzman can't help his distribution of androgen receptors namely that they are sparse/non-receptive in his gastroc/soleus and far more numerous/receptive in his upper body. Genetics
Dah Dah Trying so hard to be smart kid dont spread the genetics excuse. He was small overall before he became a successful bodybuilder. His calves are small due to neglect, he prioritized other muscles groups making them big and strong. And if he were to train his calves like he trained his arms then they would too be big and strong. They're small because he doesn't train them as much. He wasn't an athlete growing up either so the constant stimulation needed to set a base wasn't there.
You don't understand basic biochemistry do you? Let me simplify it for you: muscles have a certain amount of androgen receptors. They are NOT evenly distributed around your body. GENETICS dictate the distribution. Guzman and many others have not only a higher insertion of the calf (and therefore a longer Achilles tendon) but also a lower density of androgen receptors on his calves. You need receptors to bound TESTOSTERONE and other androgen hormones. That's why a lot of people have huge calves who don't even work them out. I don't think you have the mental capacity to absorb this but it's worth a shot.
Dah Dah cot dammit kid trying to insult me is only weakening that repetitive response. Yes I understand what your saying. Yes he has high insertions, yes his genetics are against him. Does that mean he's fucked and can't build muscle like you're implying? Fuck no. He may have to work harder but having shit genetics doesn't mean he can't build muscle, having high inserted calves means he has to train and try to overdevelop his soleus because it's the muscle closest to his heel. This will provide a thicker look. It's an illusion strategy that bodybuilders with high calf insertion use.
Lol you imbecile. You are immune to reason. Good luck in life, you're going to need it.
120 kg
It's certainly not rude to tip here in Australia! it is obviously not expected but it is always greatly appreciated by wait staff who work hard. Tips in restaurants here in Australia are not solely for one person but instead shared with all staff members working that day, including the kitchen :)
Hello from Perth over here it isn't considered rude. I work in a restaurant and tips like you said are like a way of saying thanks for the great service
CG doesn't respond anymore 😅
Kyle Davis hahaha he never did
Kyle Davis he responds well to your money
I respond all the time Kyle
Rui G best comment ever

Summer shredding crew waddup!! How is the cut going??
Ayyy #GetShreddedKrew
Going strong brah!!! 4 weeks in (started a little bit earlier haha) Started at 146ish lbs, At 140lbs now WAAAHHHAAAAAYYYY. No cheat meals, No refeeds :D
lmao why are you cutting at 146 pounds? unless youre like 5'2 or something.
Kevin Hsu its more of a mini cut brah, I was fairly 'lean' prior to this but just wanted to challenge myself.
Going perfect so far!
I'm from Sydney Australia, have worked in the food and service industry for 7 years. It's not rude or frowned upon at all. It's not expected like it is in the U.S obviously. But still greatly appreciated and unexpected to tip here.
That papa guzman face after looking at the price of that tank top LOL
hahaha 180kg squat for reps, in your dreams:D, its 120kg
Jasper toonen what are you talking about he can do 4 plates 405 pounds for reps? Which is more than 180kg...
Devin Kraft 180kg is 405
Devin Kraft watch the vid, he says 180kg when he is squatting 120kg although he does say he is not sure. Although the first comment gives the impression CG can't squat 180 when his max is about 210
Michael Malaxos 405 is like 183kg which is more than 180kg...Devin was right
He does say that it is about 275 lbs, which is 120 Kg. So he acknowledges the true weight he just says it incorrectly in Kg
who was the guy in the store who was excited to meet you?! he was way cute
So awesome meeting you at the Melbourne expo Christian. To answer the question, no it's not mandatory to tip, however I still tip for great service and it's never considered to be rude :)
tipping is no way rude in australia! its just not expected. when i would get tips when i worked in hospitality it would be a very pleasant surprise and very much appreciated. receiving a tip meant i had gone above and beyond and the customer was very happy with my service. it would actually make my night!
Legend says that if you're this early you get a response
Justin Kraft hahaha that never happens . hes a busy guy !
here's a response: Fuck off!
Yeah bro you don't need to tip in Aus we get paid enough haha
I don't need travelling. You barely have time to look at your phone lol
Maybe from Christian the retired fisherman Goomah but not the real Christian lol
Who else is doing Summer Shredding with Christian Guzman?
Grinding out Week 3 vlog right now :D
Still on board ! I bet we are the minority, but we just won't quit !!
Blafard666 you're right, I've been motivated every single day since it started. Can't wait for the results!!
im in it too! we are going to kill it!
shut ur corny ass up
It's not "rude", it's just not done/mandatory like it is in your country. The person just wouldn't expect a tip or know what to do with it. Some places may have tip jars which they divide amongst the employees, but I have never seen someone tip a single worker.
I from Australia, and i don't necessarily think people take it as an offence to offer a tip, rather it is just not expected because its not a common cultural tradition. Big companies like McDonalds, Coles (supermarket) etc are actually not allowed to take tips. Smaller cafes or side shops may accept tips humbly. It all depends :)
Heidi is fine as wine
KASHFITNESS 🔥🔥
Too bad the relationship is clearly awkward as fuck
^London
Social Media love
christian guzman the type of guy to help his ex move in with her new boyfriend.
I've been to that exact poke place! Awesome!!! That's so cool you were there. Poke is awesome there's lots in Cali LA especially. Don't be afraid to drink Aus water from faucet as is. Their water is super clean :) just FYI
In Australia the minimum hourly rate is decent and one can live off that wage.tipping does not occur often.if tips are given its normally divided upon all employees or goes towards an annual Christmas party or celebration.but it's by no means is considered rude to tip.
LETS COLLAB i need to surround myself with more positive people like you and Steve
hhhahahaha
Bradley Martyn snakey snake snake 🐍

🥇
fuck
I did the full 1/4 rep on lat pulldown today KILLER
I live in Australia and I think it just depends on where you go some places collect all the tips they make then evenly distribute it amounts all the staff in there weekly pay. I think in rare cases it is considered rude but most places will have a tip jar. even if you ask If they take tips they will say yes or no or point out the tip jar
Saving this one for tomorrow's cardio!
