As for nine fetchlands (26:00 timing) they're not primarily for the deck thinning (while in this particular deck this helps as the number of lands is relatively small), it's for Become Immense delve ability. Together with the Mutagenic Growths and Gitaxian Probes you have a stable graveyard feeding which helps you to get +6/+6 for 1-2 mana on your second turn.

Infect needs more creatures now, like a lone wolf either infect. Plus with perish bowmaster infect reatires are so brittle and easy to kill

There is a local tournament coming up in a few weeks. I would love to show up with an infect deck to throw everyone off. I would just need a good list and a sb guide.

There is a list I linked from 2023 that did pretty well in a SCG Con Qualifier. That might be a good place to start!
