I've never worked with such lightweight yarn or a yarn containing silk. At 72, you can teach an old dog new tricks. Love your tutorials, you are so zen and peaceful.
"Never underestimate the power of the...dog." 😂 Love your outtakes!
Of course you had to present a shawl that is telling me to stop everything and make this shawl. NOW! I've made the Roswen shawl for a friend and I have the Etude 2 shawl and Midnight Grove still waiting in my drawer to make. I think I'll use the Devoted kit for this shawl as I just want to make 1 Rainier for a different friend and I keep messing up the rounds and I need to take a break. The fog is clearing and it looks like a great day to crochet outside wrapped in my Dashael shawl and Peacock with the Blurr collection. I planned on reorganizing my stamp room, but...Adorn is calling my name!!! Thank you once again for making this world beautiful! Love and hugs!!!
I love that yarn and pattern. It is so pretty, the shape, the drape, the color, it is really beautiful!!
Such a lovely elegant yarn and the sweet ruffles give this delightful work an over all unique look and silky feel❣️
I have never worked with lace before. It’s always made me a bit nervous but this pattern looks like something I can do. Thank you for sharing.
Love this pattern... Easy, mindless yet elegant.... Lace weight is my favorite yarn weight to work with, as it has huge yardage and drapes beautifully once worked up....
I love working with lace weight. Sometimes I carry it along with another yarn to create a special type of fabric!!
This is so beautiful. I love patterns with beads, it just adds another element of texture and sparkle. Lace weight is my favorite yarn to work with. I live in Florida, so the light and airy feel it creates in lace work is perfect for year round wear.
I made a wedding shawl for a friend with lace weight yarn; she loved it! This is such a pretty pattern! And beautiful yarn!!
Thank you, this is so lovely. I have worked with lace weight before, but this yarn has a liquid quality. Glorious!
I have never worked with silk before. This shawl looks light and delicate. Thank you for sharing.
This is so lovely and feminine. I can hardly wait to make it. I have a birthday coming up and it's the perfect present I can make for myself. I have never worked with such lovely yarn and your video instructions make it look so easy to do and are fun to watch. Thank you!
I've never worked with lace weight yarn before. The colours and the pattern are absolutely beautiful. ❤
I have worked with lace weight yarn. It took me a few trys to get the hang of it but I found I really enjoy working with this weight of yarn and whatever is made from it looks beautiful.
I have never worked with lace weight yarn. This pattern is beautiful.
Beautiful shawl. I’ve used lace weight yarn once, for a shawl for my mom years ago. Adding beads is a lovely touch!
Yes, I have worked with lace weight yarn before. A gorgeous scarf which is also beaded on the fringe. I would LOVE to make this!
Beautiful shawl. Yes, I have worked with lace yarn before.
I like lace weight for summer and used it several times. This shawl is very nice, the ruffle is an idea which really makes it different.
I just found the perfect project for my alpaca silk lace Kilkenny hues which I bought a while ago because I couldn't resist and have not used until now.
What a lovely design!! I love working with lace weight yarn, I've made a few garments, one a wedding shawl for my niece!! So much fun!
I had to look back, but I've never used lace weight. One of my favorite projects was in fair trade, mulberry silk fingering yarn. It is so soft, silky, and light. I can't even imagine how airy this piece will be when done. Beautiful project!
I’ve never worked with lace weight to make anything like a shawl. I have worked with crochet thread #10 to make some christening gowns and decorative doilies. I’ve never worked with silk or alpaca. It sounds like it’s an amazing combination. I absolutely love the color ways. The shine of the yarn is just exquisite! Thanks for sharing. Cheers from FL😺
I Love the effect lace weight yarn creates
I've never worked with lace weight yarn before! I really want to. I was nervous at first because it looks so small and delicate, but now that I'm more of an intermediate crocheter, I'm ready to try, and this light, airy shawl is perfect! I love all your scrumptious, luxurious yarns and I can't wait to try this one out! Thank you as always ❤️☺️🐙🧶
I have never worked with lace weight; found it to be intimidating because the yarn is so thin. I have had my eye on silk yarns because it is so beautiful and looks very luxurious. This is a beautiful pattern and the yarn compliments the stitches so well. I will definitely make this pattern once I have the silk lace yarn.❤
I have never worked with lace yarn before, but you make it look easy, which makes me want to try it, thank you 😊
I have worked with lace weight before, and it's such a special experience. ❤
Working with lace weight yarn is on my 2024 to-do list. A beautiful colourway for an equally beautiful shawl.
I have not worked with it before but am truly inspired to after seeing this beautiful shawl!!
So lovey and feminine. I have some lace weight yarn but have never used it. It seems so delicate it intimidates me!!!
This is a beautiful shawl. I have worked with lace weight yarn. I started crocheting with filet and lace crocheting.
Elegant shawl!
I’ve worked with lace yarn before. It’s a welcome change from chunky yarn used in winter.
Such a beautiful pattern. It will be very stunning with the different color options. I have worked with the Alpaca Silk Lace yarn before. It was with the Sunset Diamonds shawl that we did for the 2023 summer crochet-a-long. That one turned out beautiful as well. Can't wait to make more beautiful things.❤❤
I have worked a lacy shawl once with lace weight yarn. Really like it. Wearing it feels like a smooth babytouch. You've choose a beautiful color-combo for this shawl - as always.
Yes, worked with lace weight many times. It makes such beautiful drape.
Love this shawl . I have used this yarn type before but never used beads. Using beads are on my bucket list this year. Love the colors.

Oh, this is going to be perfect for a sleeveless dress I'm wearing at a wedding. I've made a couple of shawls with lace weight yarn, they've come out so light, flowy & beautiful.
Another beautiful design as always - thank you!
Crocheting with lace weight yarn is my favourite but I've never had the luxury of working with a silk blend, so my fingers are firmly crossed 😊
As always Chandi you have adorned us with beautiful yarns and patterns. This one is lovely and I am definitely going to make it. Thank you and your team . God bless.
I’ve never worked with lace weight before. A few months ago, I took your advice with trying fingering weight (and I love it), so I’m game to try lace weight. Thank you Chandi
What an elegant wrap. I have never worked with lace weight yarn but so many of my firsts in knit and crochet I have learned from EFA. I am always learning new stitches and trying new things with my yarn thanks to you!

Good day beautiful lady. This is a gorgeous stitch tutorial. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Wow! Gorgeous shawl this pattern is! I have worked with fingerling weight yarn before. It always seems magical to me when I'm working with the yarn.
Very pretty shawl. I haven't worked with lace weight yarn yet. The drape and the beading on this shawl make it so elegant. Thank you for the tutorial, Chandi.
I have not had the pleasure to work with lace but I'm excited to. This pattern is so beautiful and certainly breezy. I am always on the look out for those breezy patterns that are suitable for TX temps
So elegant. Love the yarn choice and pattern. Thanks for sharing this beautiful tutorial. ❤
This yarn and wrap pattern is exquisite! I never worked with silk alpaca before, and I would love to. And the color combination is the cherry on top! Amazing. Thank you for sharing ❤.

Beautiful shawl, I worked before with lightweight yarn making a tee. Love it.
I've never tries using lace weight yarn. I've always been intimidated about how small the stitches are or the amount of time it takes to create a project. But this pattern is so lovely, I look forward to changing my mind. Have a wonderful weekend Chandi! And thanks for sharing another lovely tutorial and pattern.
I have never used silk or featherweight yarn. You always have such beautiful colors!

Oh, my. This is so beautiful!! I've never worked with lace weight yarn, but am very excited to give it a try. Thank you for sharing.
Another beautiful shawl. I have never worked with lace weight yarn because I am intimidated by how long a project using lace weight yarn will take to complete. This pattern however, definitely has me changing my mind. Thank you for sharing.
Omgoodness- the shine on the Alpaca yarn for this project - beautiful. Downloaded the pattern and with this tutorial it is next on my project list to make as a gift for me. With Christmas and friends having babies I've been busy making for others. I'm going to try adding beads for the first time also ❤ Tfs
Beautiful Chandi. Thank you for sharing it with us. I love the behind the scenes at the end, always making me laugh first thing in the morning, it brightens my day. I have been working with a lace yarn to make shawls. I've learned that making a swatch with it first makes it easy for me to get used to it, after all it's very thin yarn, I need to adjust my tension. Have a wonderful, sunny, happy weekend 💗
Congratulations, Sarit! Your comment was chosen to win the Reticent Hues Alpaca Silk Lace Kit. Please send us a message using our contact form at www.expressionfiberarts.com/contact-us/ and let us know where you would like the yarn shipped. Thanks, and have a wonderful day!

I make shawls with 1 weight yarn. I love working with it
I have worked with alpaca yarn and love the gel and stitch definition it provides. I have worked with lace weight yarn and have also doubled it. Since then, that's all I want to work with, as well as fingering weight. I will download this pattern and give it a try. I've never worked with applying beads. Love the challenges you consistently provide and your warm and positive vibes. 🤗
Thank you for sharing. I love seeing a notification that there is more sumptuous yarn to feast my eyes on. I have never worked with lace weight yarn, and this year I have big knitting and crochet goals to extend my skills. 😊❤❤❤❤
