"Welcome to Black Opal Direct"...the only CZcams channel that can break my "Icelandic volcano eruption" addiction.
LOL
Omg. You to!
@@jenniferc9669 yes, it's been particularly mesmerizing the past few days. But...nothing hypnotizes me more than Justin's fresh cut opals.
@Don Quarnstrom Gutn Tog!
Me too! I’ve been watching the eruption since first reporting of earthquake swarms.
I love the goofy intro! But that star opal, OMG! That would definitely make someone go goofy!
It did me haha thanks for watching
Man you sure make entertaining videos. What's more, your love of opals is contagious! Great vid sir 👊
The asterism in that opal is striking. The fact that the rays are different colors is even more impressive. Thanks for showing it off.
Forgetting to press record happens to the best of us, but the result is magnificent. The striations of the shell help bring out the star effect.
I got my wife’s wedding ring from here. I was a little wary about ordering a ring online but that soon decimated. Nice friendly people, yes real people to communicate with if a problem comes up. Can’t say enough good things about the Black Opal Direct. My wife and I are very happy. Thank you.
And now this week's episode of "I Dream of Justin".
Absolutely beautiful I wish I had enough money to buy one of these I'd probably spend the first month just staring at it in awe!!
Thought for sure you would say 'my precious' when you pulled the opal out.
lol
I can not imaging how you felt when you realized that you erred in recording the work you did on this stone. 😳🙁☹️🥺😢😭😭😭😭😭 I felt so bad for you, I had to have a cocktail 🍹
Haha have another for me too!
I love your raw honesty and humor!
lol you folks make me smile every time i watch something you do.... thank you.
Yay
Maybe this rare opal belongs in a museum so many future generations could enjoy it! Thank you for sharing your humor and opal 😊
Glad you enjoyed it
I agree
You are a shining star, no matter who you are. The Earth, Wind & Fire song pops in my mind with this.
Well, words are insignificant for this one!!! I'm sorry we didn't get a video but I'm so very happy for you!!!
I don’t usually subscribe. I’ve watched a pile of your videos. I’ve learned a lot, not just about opal’s, but also about attitude. Thus, I’m subscribing now. You deserve it.
Thank you Papa
Keep them good opal vibes flowing! Been watching every video of yours, and some of them, several times. You've made me an addict🌈 You sir, rock! Pun intended 😁
Lol thank you
It's so nice to see you having fun!
You just made my day! We laughed so hard! And then this exceptional opal to top it off. Thanks for putting the editing work in to cheer us all up!
Love the clever and entertaining video you made. It is a fabulous, gorgeous and wonderful opal!!
I love that, you are allways fun to watch
Love the intro! That opal is just so beautiful I'm almost speechless, words can't describe the beauty, it's a gift from Heaven.
You are the best type of Ozzie larikin going, thanks for all the entertainment.
My pleasure
A wonderful combination of nature and talent at its finest!!!
Skip the shenanigans, we watch for the Opals
Beautiful gem, I can imagine the heart pounding, as this gem was revealed. Having seen the floss dance, if you have a successful revealing , I can just imagine the dance you performed. Well done Justin, what is the next gem to be revealed on your bucket list?👍👍👍😁
A perfect straw pattern
@@blackopaldirect Never give up on your dreams
The "Southern Cross" is the most gorgeous opal I have seen yet. What does a straw pattern look like? I love your videos. I would love to see one of the mines that they come out of and see how they get them out. It so amazing that such a beautiful stone comes out of a piece ground. You have an awesome job!!!
@@be-bop5307 ,check out his back catalogue of vids...he has done one or two from Lightning Ridge showing the process👍
The Southern Cross is otherworldly, just sublime!
Fab editing, that beginning was so much fun to watch!
Stunning!🤯
Justin love your sense of humor.
I can’t believe how much effort you put into your videos- you are a born entertainer.
Hey, nothing worry about not pressing record. Some moments are our own, and you deserved this one, big time.
Absolutely stunning! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a stunning opal! Great video as always.
Thank you
Beautiful Opal!
What an absolutely amazing Opal.
Great opening!! Need more of that really brightens the day
That intro just kept getting funnier😂
Also, when you’re explaining patterns, it’d be cool if you could indicate what details in the gem you’re referring to with edited in lines or arrows or something
Lovely. You must be happy.
Thank you for sharing. I enjoy your humor and love your channel.
Thank you so much!
I love learning about gemstones. But my favorite is opals. That is THE most beautiful and unique opal I have ever seen 😍. I was smiling throughout your entire show and wishing I had one like that to add to my collection. Thank you 😊.
I love your sense of humor 😂
That opal is beyond spectacular. If anyone deserves to find it well it's you Justin. It reminds me of some of the pics from the Hubble Telescope. The 1st half of this video was hilarious. Great editing & production JT & Melinda. Makes up for the missing part of the video but it happens to us all. I can only imagine your excitement when that emerged. Wow. 😁
Hi Justin , being an older bloke I dislike your antics at first, but loved you opal cutting so I kept watching and like everyone else I'm hooked, your antics slowly grew on me and now I think your a very funny man with a great sense of humour, after all the recent failures I would have loved to watch you cut this one, it is a beautiful opal. Hope this starts a good run for you. As my mom used to say , It is what it is.
Kevin from beaconsfield vic.🙂🌏
Thanks Kevin.
Your intros are amazing!
Haha thank you
And the Oscar goes too....lol that was fun Justin, thanks for showing us such a rare find. :)
Lol
Yessssss more of the opal goodness👀🙏🏻
The man that blesses us with beautiful opal is blessed with his dream opal. May Mother Nature keep smiling on you Justin for you and yours truly deserve it.
Much love❣
Thank you Mary. I have known you for a long time now and appreciate you still following me
I loved the bit of magic in the beginning, because you truly work magic on those stones.
Awwww thank you
That's such a beautiful stone and unique too. I don't have that opal but I do have a lone star blue topaz from the 1930's that I bought at an estate sale and I absolutely love it.
I love that you're having fun and playing around with the editing :) Also, with your opal cutting skills you basically are a genie!
Oh thank you!
Justin you crack me up. I love your channel
I would've loved to see the video of this emerge, what a beauty. Would've loved to see the dance moves that brought on too 👀👀.....just as priceless as the gem! 😂 Well done, what a stunning stone
I think it's fine you forgot to hit record. Such a sublime moment may not belong on film. Kind of like with sacred things, something this special is beyond our ability to fully appreciate. I'm just happy for you and impressed by the patterns of this special, special stone.
Great content Justin
That is one of the most beautiful stones I have seen you cut have been watching a very long time and still not full keep them coming thanks to you and blessings for you family
I wouldn't let it go either. Amazing stone and amazing cut! Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime stone. 💥
I enjoy every minute of your videos, I had a really tough day at work. Your videos really help me unwind with a cup of tea after a long day. Be it your sense of humour or your passion for your work, it’s highly appreciated. Thank you 🙏
You are so welcome!
Beautiful gem!
Justin, I have watched other OPAL cutters on CZcams and each of them have said Positive Things and given YOU HIGH RATINGS PER YOUR ABILITIES. I can see why. YOUR FATHER HAS THOUGHT YOU VERY WELL AND COUPLED WITH YOUR EXPERIENCE IS SUPERIOR.
Wow! I never heard of this pattern. Opals are just crazy 🤪! Congratulations Justin for this magic stone!
Thanks so much!
I cannot get enough of your videos. Every time you post it’s like a dream!
Thank you Victoria
I love your goofiness too! A stunning opal!
I love the way your fingernails changed, like magic!
I’m pretty amazing
@@blackopaldirect definitely you're magic guy
Fabulous gem Justin. Worth waiting for. I’ve got a couple of star sapphires, fascinating how nature produces these wonders.
It is amazing
But the way our beautyfull planet produced the star ruby and saphire is very different and way more comon than a cross/star opal. Its like comparing a crystal to a diamond.
Justin cracks me up! Silly- yup! Goofy- yup! Love it. And what a cool stone!
I love this story telling in the start
Wow~that's beautiful! Congratulations Justin I'm so happy for you.
Man that gem is so gorgeous and not a bad size either! Thanks for sharing
Congratulations Justin. Truly happy for you. I'm sure she us gonna have a proud spot in your personal collection 💜💜
Congratulations. Didn't know opals could have such variety.
Those 2 on the left and the Green Flux Capacitor on the bottom are UNREAL!
Just stunning 😍
Only you could pull off such fantastic shenanigans!! 😁🤣
Lol
Very well made. All of it! Amazed by everything about opal, and Justin. You are goood🧐💯
Thank you
@@blackopaldirect located in scandinavia, Sweden to be exact. Can't explain my deep fascination for this mineral since I've only seen shards of it in real life. It just makes me curious and riveted seeing one-even rough- potchcolor😍! Love it👍💚
Please don’t take this but you are nutty crazy. I mean that in the best terms. I never dreamed I would be watching a black opal video plus crack up laughing while watching. You are the best. Love watching your archives of video. Learning a ton. Thanks.
Hey I resemble that comment 🙏🙏😂
Right when I was expecting a snake to leap or slither into view...you show that...that gem, is playing with my eyes! I had to pop them both back in their sockets!!! But, my gosh, it was worth it!
I adore your dedication to bringing out the best of these precious geological wonders.
Thank you very much!
What!? Didn't record your work. Thumbs down man. Game over! Thank you for sharing such a thing. It's marvelous
How gorgeous is that!
Awesome!
Just spectacular!
Thanks for sharing Justin .
Thanks for watching
Hey Justin. I love that you had us go over to the blog to see the value. I don't know... it just made it fun. :) I honestly could see in your face what it meant to discover this piece. There was such a marvelous, quiet reverence in your voice when you were telling us about it. I'm so incredibly happy for you. I think this treasure will give you joy every day as a reminder of the exquisite beauty in Nature's excellence.
Awesome! Thank you!
Justin, that switching between your opal videos and the live feed of the volcano in Iceland is a habit a lot of people have picked up, apparently! Be flattered, because really, what could be more mesmerizing than a live volcano feed?? Evidently there is one thing: your opal videos!! Take a bow! Happy dance!!!
😊 That was a superb video! What a nice surprise it popped up. Never knew a cross pattern exists in Opal, Southern Cross o.c.
I have natural star Ruby & clear Moonstone with blue cats eye effect. Cabochons suit them best.
☆ Thanks for sharing this, 2years ago for you Justin, but new to me.😻🏴
As usual, Justin, you never cease to amaze me.. That was truly quite the find and creation. Wait don't tell it was whispering to you... 😊😊😊
Your intro always makes me smile hahaha.
Congratulations , beautiful stone.
Love the videos dude. Hello from Texas
Thanks Justin! Don't blame you for not selling this gem. I would keep it too. Looking forward to seeing the next video!
Haha, I love the video! The I dream of jeannie part , too funny. And wow, the Southern star opal, beautiful!!!!!!❤🧡💛💚💙💜
It's absolutely beautiful! Congratulations guys!
I'm not surprised you don't want to let it go, even for that value!
You didn't find that star, it found you. And you deserve it my friend :)
🙏❤️
Love your new operating style.
Thank you
Great intro 🙂
Justin I'm from Pakistan and a big fan of yours this star opal you showed I have never seen before.
Thanks & Love you Brother
Woww ! What a find !! Thank you for sharing !
Yeah!! Serial content!!! Love it! Looks like you got you some editors!!!
Melinda does some filming but I edit myself
Absolutely amazing !
Loved this video! Despite you not recording cutting the gem, I had a real chuckle at the sequence! Great entertainment.
Glad you enjoyed it
