Turn on Home Sharing and it sees all of your content on your MacBook from video to Photos to music/playlists etc. It's FLAWLESS and also not mentioned is MATCH FRAME RATE. This means that the Apple TV will play in the CORRECT frame NOT force it to 60 SO IMPORTANT as we have 23.976 and 24 for movies, 25 and 30 for vlogs, 60 for vlogs AND SOON 48fps!!!!!! Other boxes try to put that into 60!!! With bad results!!!!!!!!
We have Apple TV 4K (ATV-4K) setups on all 4 of our televisions. This past week, I just switched-out the Spectrum Cable Box for a 64GB ATV-4K (3rd Gen) and haven't looked back -- it saves me $26.49 monthly (Cable Box + DVR Service). The other three televisions are running 32GB ATV-4K (2nd Gen). ATV-4K is the best streaming device on the planet.
I love the AppleTV with most of its features, but they still do not allow me to set a passcode on my user account. It's frustrating how one can switch to a different user account without verification. It would be even more fun if one user sets the Apple TV to their preference (like the arrangement of apps), and once they switch to their account .. boom, no need to go back to settings to turn off parental control each time you want to watch tv just because the kids were watching it earlier. Let them allow us to set parental restrictions on a single account! You already have this in place on other devices, so there's no reason why I shouldn't also have it here!
I love my Apple TV 4K, but I found out that on my 4K 120hz oled tv, content looks better using apps in my tvs built in os. I’m guessing it has to do with the Apple 4K not supporting 120hz? But honestly LGs Web OS on my Lgc4 tv is just as fast, even on my older c2 tv in my bedroom, it still runs fast, the Apple TV 4K is just tiny bit faster, but tv apps don’t suck anymore! Especially LGs Web os! Also the lg tvs also do hdr and Dolby vision…
120Hz has nothing to do with it, that's simply the screen refresh rate. When you watch a film it's 23.976. Look at how Apple does things with ProMotion - adaptive 120. THIS VLOG is shot at 25fps - if it played as a 120 it would not match and you'd get judder when panning and poor movement. I have the C4 and the Apple TV is far better for picture & audio. How do you have you ATV set up? Here's mine... SDR 60, Frame Rate & Match Content ON, Croma 4:4:4:4 I'm not impressed with Web OS, laggy, over complicated and I hated the remote control that was full of buttons too close to each other. The ATV remote is perfect IMO (and that's from using the BANG&OLUFSEN Beo4 which I felt WAS the best remote on the market of all time). Try and AirPlay from your iPhone a 4K 60fps video - the LG is a sticky mess - it drops to 27fps and becomes low res - the ATV is buttery smooth - it even pays 4K 60 UNCOMPRESSED flawlessly :)

Does anyone know the difference between the 64 vs 128 GB Apple TV (2022) apart from storage and the fact that it has an Ethernet cable? Is there any other difference?

No SONY DOES NOT have Apple TV built in. That's wrong. It has the Apple TV App like all Google TVs. Whether you think Google OS is satisfactory for your needs is truly up to you. It never appealed to me though.
Again just preference on the TVs OS. And the only difference between the Apple TV hardware is vs baked in app is just trivial things. Honestly who uses FaceTime on your Apple TV and maybe once or twice you play flappy birds or some other game, just a bunch of trivial stuff. Most people will you know watch shows on their TVs. Plus’s why do I need HomeKit hub when matter exist today. This stuff was maybe useful 5 years ago but Apple rarely even updated their hardware for this. To me it’s just an expensive paper weight.

The RedBull TV app is a disgrace - poorly optimised and very poor performance for years now. But that's the app developers at fault there!
@@BarcelonasHotCrowd I would argue Apple is way to restrictive with their App Store and fee policy and that keeps the developers away
That's if you are always wanting new apps for some reason..? I use the same 5-8 on Apple TV.. All popular ones so the apps work great. They always have for the most part.. The Siri remote is the best remote I've ever used for any device ever.. The size and quality are perfect. I'm talking about the recent remote obviously not the old one 🤷♂️ My family members have a few of the other big streamer platforms and maybe the apps work good on them But I still don't like any of the OS on them And I doubt they'll make any thing like the Siri remote..

Buy a Sony I had a Samsung tv and they definitely under power their tvs where this menu lag happens, Sony has Apple TV built in and hardware is excellent.
@@mstar034 dude i have an sony 55x93j and it's not apple TV.. holy fk... you didn't understand the video... it's the CPU what's the difference. the LAG, delays and instant performance if you fking hit a button. also app load times. all the other stuff he mentioned is just a (for me at least NOT) helpful feature for others. i don't use facetime and apple arcade, apple music etc. but it's so fking fast to navigate around it, unreal. i also have no more ads inside the apps. streaming apps, won't automatically start a trailer, or the movie just when i'm scimming through the library. it's different now.
