1:41 I love how Meadow exposes her tacit-beliefs. Carmela says Noah comes from a 'racially mixed' marriage, and Meadow interprets that as a 'slam' because of her inner feelings towards mixed marriages. Brilliant writing!
And Noah should have agreed with Carmela, because there’s no way his first experience with racism was with Tony. But instead of demonstrating some integrity & insight, he lets Meadow completely misinterpret that comment just to ensure the drama continues. What a spineless weasel...
I’m an idiot? Gee, that’s awfully rude. We are talking about about Carmela’s comment that Noah came from a “racially mixed marriage”, which is in no way a “racial slur”... seems like you are confusing Carmela’s comment with the horrible, vile crap Tony said to Noah back in NJ. Of course Tony’s comments were racial slurs, nobody would argue that. I have no idea why you would confuse Carmela with Tony - two different people saying very different things at different times & places. Even so, I wouldn’t call you names for making this mistake.
They did an amazing job at making Noah such a hateable character. The best part was that at the end of the day Tony was right, Noah used Meadow an bailed.
Out of every single character in the Sopranos, I absolutely hated Noah more than anyone else. For some reason he just really bothered me and I wasn't sure if he was suppose to betrayed that way.
That why the Sapronos was so great. On any other show, after Tony was racist to him, Noah would have been portrayed as a saint; some perfect being that would have made him look like a martyer. Instead we come to realize that Noah is kind of a jerk. Doesn't excuse what Tony did but realize later you wouldn't want Noah dating your daughter either . . . because he's a jackass.
They needed to show the scene with AJ being weirded out by the college environment. I totally can relate to that when I visited my older sister in college.
carmela loved to turn a blind eye and excuse tony's horrible behaviour as "it's apart of his upbringing in a different time" but cries and whines when that same twisted mentality is used against her (cheating/keeping secrets/lying). meadow was right.
“He’s lucky I didn’t punch his f***ing lights out.” Let’s set aside the fact that Tony is as mobbed up as anyone can get. Tony has height, reach and at least 100 lbs on this kid, not to mention at least 30 years of fighting experience.
Pretty sure he had a pantera shirt on earlier this season. I wonder if wardrobe pick these clothes out for him or if they’re actually from the actor’s closet
TFfolkes This punk couldn’t beat AJ lol let alone a guy like Tony. He could have tried but the locals would had eaten Noa’s burgers from Satriale’s the next day.
if only Noah had tried. the scene showing his beaten and bullet riddled corpse being found in a ditch along the Jersey Turnpike would've been hilarious
noah was such an irrelevant weakling that even if he tried tony probably would've laughed it off and used it as a justification for black people being violent and meadow breaking up with him.
I don't think Tony would've taken it that far. I don't think he'd have whacked someone on a personal life beef. Definitely would've likely given him the Perry Anunziata treatment
Sorry to say but I am completely in agreement with Carmela here, meadow is totally playing a game by bringing an instigating factor around her dad. She knows exactly the dramatic reaction it’s going to get, she wants to get high and mighty about how the rest of the world should be, but she isn’t prepared to protect the people in her immediate circle from those bad influences. Meadow is a child with a lot of maturing to do, and honestly right up until the very last episode I don’t see that in the character evolution.
You know, it is the comments section that makes youtube what it is. I never noticed that little detail before. That guy was muscular and lean, whilst at home she has fat Tony.
"Cause you're a civilized person". What he said was everything but civil and well-mannered. Meadow was written perfectly as an entitled student that just went to uni.
@@olivesama nah, she has her good side with really caring for AJ and with her genuine will to help at the law center. She is not even bad later on, just corrupted by her parents and there is so much you can do pro-bono. But here? She wants to piss her parents, it's not about the guy on some level. That she gets after Tony - it's all honor among men, but when it suits him. Plus, she later really ignores reality of the way their life is set.
Meadow is so self-important and self-righteous here. She pretends to resent her father's criminal association but gladly takes the money to go to an Ivy League School without a second thought.
As a mother, that kind of college age daughter crap is hard to deal with in any family. The daughters always think they are all grown up, that they know everything, And that their parents are trying to control them and prevent them from developing their own identity. And Noah should have agreed with Carmela, because there’s no way his first experience with racism was with Tony. But instead of demonstrating some integrity & insight, he lets Meadow completely misinterpret that comment just to ensure the drama continues. What a spineless weasel...
@@joefelice5062 Joe Felice How do you misinterpret a racial slur you idiot? Noah did nothing wrong . Tony was an a hole
@@christiansoldier77
He's not an idiot. You are.
Yes, Meadow herself was a bit racist...if not more. The guy was just an experience for her.
He’s young, smart and arrogant and he knows it. The arrogance is what bothered you.
I Agree with you and lol, betrayed that way?
Yeah, the actor definitely did a good job portraying him as an arrogant, self-important prick. The perfect way for Meadow to get back at daddy.
Wario wuzo lol. That malapropism would make Little Carmine proud.
“I would have knocked his lights out” lmaoooo Jackie Jr had a better chance of becoming boss of all of NJ then for this Noah to even touch tony lmao.
“Oh........ (smiles) I know what he said.” I LOVE THAT LOL
Chaplin Co best part of the clip!
Im always being sent away, why do I bother going to these things?!?...
“He’s lucky I didn’t punch his f***ing lights out.”
Let’s set aside the fact that Tony is as mobbed up as anyone can get. Tony has height, reach and at least 100 lbs on this kid, not to mention at least 30 years of fighting experience.
I don’t think Noah was 180. It’s possible Tony was double Noah’s weight (140).
"it's because i didn't punch his lights out"
"alright telephone tough guy"
Lol
0:04 Is nobody going to point out AJ has a freaking slipknot jacket on?
Or that him and Carmela had coordinating outfits.
That shit go hard body
Pretty sure he had a pantera shirt on earlier this season. I wonder if wardrobe pick these clothes out for him or if they’re actually from the actor’s closet
Aj had drip
Dude was a metal head.
He liked mudvayne too
That slipknot jacket is amazing
@Blood Beryl sHiTkNoT
"Oh. I know what he said."
lol that killed me.
1:09 I remember lmao at that line
little creep gonna punch Tony's lights out
TFfolkes This punk couldn’t beat AJ lol let alone a guy like Tony. He could have tried but the locals would had eaten Noa’s burgers from Satriale’s the next day.
hahahahahaha
Tony would crack his Ass.
@@GenosGlory haha
@@jabronicamel1957 ...into FOUR pieces.
"You bottomed out". Wish Tony had taken Noah to the men's' room like he did with Jackie Jr
I thought Carmela was going to rightfully slap Meadow in the face when they were alone.
if only Noah had tried. the scene showing his beaten and bullet riddled corpse being found in a ditch along the Jersey Turnpike would've been hilarious
He deserved what happened to the assemblyman who screwed irina
noah was such an irrelevant weakling that even if he tried tony probably would've laughed it off and used it as a justification for black people being violent and meadow breaking up with him.
I don't think Tony would've taken it that far. I don't think he'd have whacked someone on a personal life beef. Definitely would've likely given him the Perry Anunziata treatment
That Noah likes to piss me off and don't get me started on that Meadow
Sorry to say but I am completely in agreement with Carmela here, meadow is totally playing a game by bringing an instigating factor around her dad. She knows exactly the dramatic reaction it’s going to get, she wants to get high and mighty about how the rest of the world should be, but she isn’t prepared to protect the people in her immediate circle from those bad influences. Meadow is a child with a lot of maturing to do, and honestly right up until the very last episode I don’t see that in the character evolution.
The Sopranos was a great show. Shame about its fans.
АЈ had his best moment here
Noah made AJ likable.
And in this corner....weighing in at 123 lbs. in the pink sandals is the challenger... Noah the Charcoal Briquet!!
"He's lucky I didn't punch his lights out"
*breathes in*
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
AJ wearing a slipknot hoodie
Cultured kid
Shirtless dude walks by and Carmela checks him out shit crazy
She wanted the D
You know, it is the comments section that makes youtube what it is. I never noticed that little detail before. That guy was muscular and lean, whilst at home she has fat Tony.
nah she was concerned that Meadow gets to see that in her residence
Carmela Flooded the dorm’s basement... 👀 💦
I don’t think she was checking him out. She was taken aback by what goes on in a coed dorm.
"Meadow, you're my daughter and i love you, but never ever take sides against your family again 🗿"
I wish Tony had gone along. I’d love to hear what the punk has to say or even better, do
He would’ve immediately left the room and the building (possibly even the campus).
What really set Tony off on Noah was socks with sandals Noah is wearing.
moolangnan!
Titsun
"Cause you're a civilized person". What he said was everything but civil and well-mannered. Meadow was written perfectly as an entitled student that just went to uni.
Meadow can't win in the eyes of the fans. It doesn't matter what she does.
That slipknot jacket that AJ had was pretty awesome.
Should've used it more on the show
"Oh. I know what he said" lmao AJ getting a kick out of it and respecting his old man
Anyone notice Carmela checking out the shirtless guy at the start 😂😂😂
of course his parents work at NBC

Fucking savage comment. Nicely done.
A bit of the ol' "Ludwig Van"
AJ: I'm always being sent away, why do I bother going anywhere...
Me: I know AJ, it's like, why do you even exist in the first place?
I imagine a fight between Tony and Noah would’ve looked like the fight between Tony & Baccala...
No Tony would have tossed Noah's ass back to California lool
There would have been two hits: Tony hitting Noah and Noah hitting the floor.
@@travellerextraordinnaire7388 Vito would've "tossed salad" with Noah's ass back to California LMFO!
That's cus you're in favor of noah.
Noah is a twig and a nerd he cant fight tony
Meadow is so self-important and self-righteous here. She pretends to resent her father's criminal association but gladly takes the money to go to an Ivy League School without a second thought.
HERE?
As a mother, that kind of college age daughter crap is hard to deal with in any family. The daughters always think they are all grown up, that they know everything, And that their parents are trying to control them and prevent them from developing their own identity. I love that look on mom’s face before she leaves the dorm room, like “you’ll find out soon enough what life is all about”.
Tony was genuinely, actually in the wrong. Meadow is right to be upset. If you find yourself on Carmella's side here, that says volumes about you.
@@slowfreq two things can be true. Tony is a racist prick and Noah is a pretentious twerp. Tony is obviously worse but I think people hate Noah more because they are more likely to run into someone like him irl.
That's why women at that age should generally be getting ready to marry and start a family. It keeps them from getting the wrong idea about themselves.
@@BudSchnelker With channels like ASMR Tingleplays in your favorites, you getting married is as likely as Noah punching Tony’s lights out.

Let’s be real AJ’s Slipknot jacket he’s wearing is that drip 💧
Noah had the sneakers with the lights on them from Junior
I kinda wish Noah would've taken the swing on Tony. It would've been hilarious to see his Brillo top being used to mop the Soprano kitchen floor and later displayed on the wall behind the card table in the back of Satriale's
i love this show, Tony was wrong calling the black kid a piece of charcoal but then the jew negro says hes lucky he didnt punch out Tony? lol great writing. such a beautiful show, great acting
Noah would have no chance of punching out Tone.
Tony was a fat slob who would have dies of a stroke by age 52. He's nothing.
7.8M views, his frame was hefty, no doubt, but he had power above that of Noah.
7.8M views there is not a single reality in which noah beats tony in a fight. Sure tone was overweight so what? Thats an advantage in a fight and tony knows how to fight ( remember later on in the show when he beat the bodybuilder around like a ragdoll and tony was even more out of shape then ). Noah stood no chance at all , tony would plough through him like it was nothing lol
Punch Tony out??
I almost choked on my food when he said “he’s lucky he didn’t punch his lights out”
So Tony was lucky Noah didn't punch his lights out. I would have liked to see him try. Even with Tony in his bathrobe and flip flops! It would have been the highlight of the sheason!
The things we say to our parents when they're alive we'll regret after they're gone.
Yup. You hurt yourself worse.
1:20 Jesus that tone sends shivers down my spine
Tony was right to reject Noah, not because of his race, but because he was a little twerp without a molecule of common courtesy or respect.
Lmao what? He was very respectful when he first met Tony
@@user-lu1cn5jd4y I really hope your standards are not that low that you would call that respectful. He didn't even offer to Shake Tony's hand while making use of his house.
The writers should have had a bigger finale scene between Noah and Tony. In true epic fashion of Noah being duct taped and gagged in the trunk of a car.
Hilarious the way Hasidic Homeboy says he would punch the lights out of the boss of New Jersey’s glorified crew.
And that unnecessary hug before he leaves lmao!
Noah tannenbaum is directly responsible for my irrational hatred of men who wear sandals.
