- inching closer to that first start up attempt! Soldered the coil wire that was cut, installed and set the gap on new points and did a little engine case polishing. Hopefully next week's video includes a first start attempt if all goes smoothly!
Great job , coming along nicely , be nice to hear it kicking into
Life 👍the side casings came up great .putting me in the mood for a refurb project myself.
Great work keep it up .👍
Thank you! I appreciate the words of encouragement and it’s nice to know it’s inspired another bike to get back together! I’m hoping I’ll have it running in the next video if things continue to go smoothly.
Love These Videos!!!!
I'm working on a DT125a build and this has been really helpful.
Thanks for watching! Glad they were able to help. I have another video series on a DT125B that might also assist.
cool project. I like that it has a jake brake. I had a 74 ty250 with one
Thanks! I really like this DT. It runs really good going down the road and actually feels like a completely different bike vs the 1975 DT250 I have as well. This one has a wider feel for sure.
Where do you find all these DT’s This is definitely my dream bike. Thanks for the video’s
Thanks for tuning in! I scour my Facebook marketplace feed and mid Ohio for deals every year. These DTs seem to find me lol. My friend hooked me up with a ‘75 for $100. When I got that running, it inspired this channel. It’s one of my earlier videos if you want to check it out. I found ANOTHER ‘75 last year that I still have to get to!
