I play junior hockey in Canada and Rob is my really good friend of mine. We go to the same training camp in Oakville in every summer. And im a goalie too and he did this to me last summer he is such of great hockey player!
that is one sweet goal, in a game, in ot. it's hard to get enough space/room like that to setup an attempt, that we'll ever see it in the NHL. check out my hockey vids for more of these moves.
@okpapereat, stokedGSXR has right. besides if you say this then oveshkin, datsuyk and all who can do this trick and is in the NHL, wouldn't be in the NHL. however what is true is that the trick with the puck on the stick and then turning it around is actually highsticking in a game.
Hisey is underrated.He wasGreat for the otters.I think he can make the NHL somewhere.I mean there are some pretty shitty 3rd and 4th line retards in the NHL that Hisey is better than.And there are some high draft picks that suck(Legwand and Weiss come to mind)Hang in there Rob maybe you will get a chance.
i want you to look closely again its only considered high stick if the blade of the stick is over the crossbar like for example if i was in front of the net the blade of my stick over the crossbar and tip the puck down and in that would be no goal my stick blade contact the puck high stick. Hisey on the other hand had kept his blade below the crossbar when he puck the puck in so that be a good goal. But if that happens in NHL you piss a lot of people of showing that you are cocky and doo that
no thats the reason because the NHL does not want to see this in a in game basis and even in the shootout. i mean thats just cheep way to win it at least rob schremp can keep it under controll and dont go lacrosse style in shootouts. He is 25 yrs of age and not drafted for that reason

Twice actually in the Elite league and then of course once for Barrie Colts in the OHL for the skills competition. Do you really think that is why the NHL wouldnt want a player like this? Perhaps my reasoning sounds better. How about the fact that Hisey's stats say he's 5'-9" and 173 lbs. Those numbers are probably exaggerated and it is highly likely he is even smaller than that. Ur clueless!
