  • Do you struggle with attaching your Microsoft Form file uploads to Email?
Are you stumped when it comes to handling a response without any file uploads?
In this Microsoft Power Automate Tutorial I’m going to cover where file uploads from your Microsoft Forms are saved. I’ll also show you how attach the uploaded files to an email and how to dynamically name the files and customize the recipient of the email based on the selections made in your Microsoft Form. I will also cover how to handle responses that don’t include any file uploads.
I’m not going to cover how to get the values from your form since I've already covered that in a different tutorial: • How to Get a Microsoft...
In an upcoming tutorial I’ll show you how you can apply this same logic to save your file uploads into a specific folder on SharePoint, how to add metadata to those files and how to add the file uploads to a SharePoint list. I love your style of teaching. So easy to follow. I would love to see one like this that includes an approval workflow before emailing the attachments.

You are my absolute favorite CZcamsr. I always learn so much and you have helped my productivity. Is there a video you have done that explains arrays? They confuse me

Thanks for watching! I haven't done a video on arrays specifically however many of my videos include working with arrays in the flow. Anytime a flow includes an Apply to Each action .. the Apply to Each action is used to loop though an array of items. In the meantime, you might find this tutorial on the Apply to Each action helpful: czcams.com/video/44Bk4JVMrD4/video.htmlsi=5Jx4A39eYyuyhcVa

THANK YOU! I was having trouble getting the file content for word documents - the item()?['link'] expression was only working for pdf, jpg, etc. not for word. Your method works perfectly!

Do you have a tutorial on adding form attachments to planner tasks?
I've tried following the above (which is great btw) but it doesn't look like its working the same way ...

Can you also please extend this to include the attachment in the Sharepoint list for each submission.

Changing the trigger to manual trigger for testing -> so smart.... I've wasted hours on this.

I always build my flows with a manual trigger. Saves so much time when you don't need to leave the app!
      Work smarter, not harder! 😉

Is anyone else having an issue with Sharepoint not being able to find the documents? I keep getting a File not found error message on this form.

Thanks for watching. It’s really hard to assist with troubleshooting specific issues in the comments. You need to ensure you are selecting the correct action to get the file. There are two Get File Content actions. Each action requires a different dynamic content to be used to get the file.
I would recommend posting in the Microsoft Power Automate Community: powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/bd-p/BuildingFlows
