Thank you. I try to gather the most information I can. I'm not very techy, so this is more of a brief overview of what the console can offer the average consumer.
Another thing to keep in mind is on the bottom where it says SCEA, that's the consoles home region. My Net Yaroze is from Japan and when I put in a Japanese game, it says SCEI on the bottom since that's the default. Because when I put in a US game, it doesn't say SCEA on the bottom because its not the default region.
I like Gamster81. I've seen his content and it's great. I learned about this just by looking up Playstation 1 variants. I saw an official black PS 1 and was sold lol.
I think I have dev kit playstation... however, mine is the standard color. Has all the plugs you listed, and I think what looks like a port for fiberoptic? It would be nice to find out exactly what it is. Got it years ago from a yard sale, console only tho... (Also, tried playing a Japanese game on it and it didn't work.)
F'n lovin you set up. Oldskool at its very best. a money no object super clever dream set up. I can proper appreciate what you have done. If you know then you know what this guy is cooking
@@Ex_Savior This is good to know since the one I ordered from Japan is a Japanese model. I couldn't find a US model for a reasonable price, but I'm no stranger to Japanese Sony Products.
I just bought one off of Ebay from Japan for $730. Thanks to Taxes and import I paid $813. Console only sadly. I already bought its controller awhile back, I'm just missing the boot disc, the serial cable, and the access card. UPDATE: Managed to get the 2 of 3 things I need from Yahoo Auction JP using a proxy service. Now I just need the boot disc.
You have an incredible collection. I'm especially jealous of the Hi-Saturn Navi. Thanks for sharing.
Lol thanks. A lot of people have told me things they would give up just to have the Hi-Saturn Navi such as arms, legs, lives, and wives lmao.
Ur lucky to have one, its a piece of fine gaming history!
This confirms that the petscop is played on og ps1, because debug text is missing
Cool stuff man, you seem very knowledgeable

I first learned of this via the Gamtser81 video years ago

Had kept a tab of yours open for a bit waiting for new set you got
Oh wow thanks! I'll try to post more content in the near future.
Wow, that's cool!
Thank you!

If I recall only the Japanese models got any S-Video out directly on the unit. I'm pretty sure only the 1000s models
This is correct. The Japanese model is the only model that has a direct S-Video out port in the back. Too bad S-Video is not really used anymore.

So are you gonna do a tour of your room?
I just uploaded a new video about my current set up. Go check it out!
Is the net Yaroze region locked? Or can it play US/JP games?
It can play all region games. The games must be official copies and not bootlegs.
Is the console itself a Japanese ver.?
No, this is the NTSC version. There's an FCC sticker on the bottom of it.
@@Ex_Savior Got myself a Japanese ver and was having a bit of issues with the memory card, but thank god I got it to work.
Fuck you must be a crazy collector with a bit of $ to have some of those extremely rare consoles!! :OOO
Lol damn. I think what helped was I got most of these for a good price before most of these grew in popularity.
Wow that's so cool, such a prized possession. Are these available for sale anywhere ?
lmfao good luck!
They pop up once in a while on eBay and go for about $1,000 or so.

Is it Region Free?
Yes.
How much you want for it? £
I have a Teal Net Yaroze
Those are nice as well. I believe the teal development kits can play CD-R.
@@Ex_Savior yea the lens stopped reading disks… so I may used this video to fix it
@@EricPace Glad this was able to help!
