I wish I could like this again.
"Awake, my soul, and sing of Him who died for thee, And hail Him as thy matchless King Through all eternity." ...A powerful hymn of praise played as it should... powerfully !! ... KING of Kings and LORD of Lords !!
:D
Crown him the Lord of love! behold his hands and side, those wounds, yet visible above, in beauty glorified; *No angel in the sky Can fully bear that sight*
Crown him the Lord of love might need a softer registration not just a sequence of increasing volume as you work through the hymn. How are you timing the space between verses?
Encore! This hymn never gets old. I could feel the majesty of the Holy Spirit all the way to the United States 🇺🇸
Thanks!
Now that’s what I call music!
Cheers!
This was always played for Christ The King Sunday in our church growing up ! Love it so much and you do a wonderful job
Thanks Rachel! :-)
I don't know how you coordinate your hands a feet!!!!! Love this hymn!
One day Rob you will play for the choirs of heaven. Even the Lord is inspired by your renditions of His most precious hymns.

Absolutely wonderful...this was the processional hymn when I graduated from the seminary. It always had special meaning to it for me, and you give it justice by the way you play it. Many thanks Rob.I appreciate your work here on the tube.
What a pleasure to listen to these wonderful old hymns so seldom heard today in churches and played so beautifully on this organ.
Thanks!
excelent! still get goose flesh when you play. reminds me of my gran's church in devonshire was the first time I heard that song played. Loved it then and continue to love it now on the organ.
I went to a S.D.A. boarding school during high school, and we had a forty (40) member choir. The choir often sang this hymn when the students were being ushered out after the service, and boy that choir would really belt out this song with "fortissimo" and make those old rafters ring. What a joy those hymns were. Doctor George Whitehead (San Pasqual Academy Class of 1963)
Thats good!
Just love the organ and hymns wonderful
Many thanks!

Oddly raised in the Roman Church in the last 50 onwards, our Parish Priest had excellent taste in using Hymns from the Anglican and Lutheran hymnal's. Enjoy all of you're performance's... a Gift from The Lord.

Quite a beautiful and powerful hymn ... love it
Thanks Rachel :-)
Rob your beautiful playing of this hymn reminds me of a situation I once was in and the awsome way The Lord ministered to me and also used others to do the same. I really grew in The Lord during that time and have had opportunity to minister to others in the same way that I was ministered to.
Thanks......

This is Wedding Rehearsal music for the Wedding of the Lamb we are all looking forward to! I never knew there was so much going on while playing an organ - 3 rows of keys for the hands, and another row on the floor for the feet.
Thank you for posting your wonderful and joyous organ playing. The beauty and power of the music on this fabulous instrument is inspiring. I love the different tones when you pull out various stops! Also, I think it is brilliant for the cameras to show your hands AND feet--and it is fascinating to watch. The two Easter hymns are my favorites from childhood: Jesus Christ is Ris'n Today and Crown Him With Many Crowns: such glorious chords and spirited playing! Thank you from Seattle, Washington, U.S.
Wow just WOW 😦
Many thanks!
Crowning achievement. Glory be! Energy-level is heavenly. Cheers! Amen.
Sure is!
My father was a pipe organist and used to play this, my favorite him. Thank you so much for putting this on CZcams for us all to enjoy!
Sorry for the misspelling - Voice recognition doesn’t recognize the word hymn
My pleasure!

Cheers!
One of my favorite hymns of all time and you play it so beautifully Rob. Thank you.
Thank you Paul! :-)
That key looks like a dream compared to our hymnal. In our hymnal it's written in the key of E major.
Anyways, I love listening to you play and you make my day. God bless!
Thanks Matt! :-)
A great rendition of this great hymn Rob. Your Organ is sounding beautifully and crisp with every note played.
I love church music I listen to you on my tablet I am nearly 97 Ted Smith Weston super mare somerset
That was an "RR" - a Rob Rouser! :-)
A thundering bass in verses 1 & 2 then, when you'd think it couldn't thunder further, even more in the last verse!
Cheers Gordon - that sound gave me goosebumps shame of those Saddos don't know what they are missing here! :o)

Many thanks I'm touched I'm sure I will get a mention too! :o)
RobCharles1981 Rob Charles, your playing is just Magnificent! Thank you so much for your talents and spreading of the Holy Spirit!
Exactly Keith It had all the works and as 007Vauxhall Said The Sound was Spot on Too! :o)
I’ve always been accustomed to playing it [as I first learnt it] one full note higher [E], which I’ve always found a bit high so I’ve got into the habit of going down ½ a note to E♭maj., (or D♯ maj.) but I’ve never thought to play it in D.
Simple enough, I suppose, but I’d just transpose down on the fly if I had to, as I’ve never actually played it in D, but it looks simple enough. But I’ve never seen it written in D. I’ve never played it in D. Well, until about 3 minutes ago, on my piano. Live & learn …
Just read this and was amused by the idea of playing anything in D# Major, rather than its enharmonic equivalent of Eb Major, If you wanted to write in D# Major, you'd be faced with a key signature of 9 sharps....aaaarggghhhhh
I had no idea that your feet had a giant set of keys as well! That's so cool :D
It can do anything! :-)
Thank You Paul - I used the Boom Microphone Stand found in the Church and I played with the record mode settings had it on 80% Surround Sound :o)
I played this for mass, thanks for helping me with the tempo. :-)
+Earl Archibald Campbell of Argyll Your most welcome, hope it well! :o)
+RobCharles1981 Keep me in your prayers, I will be playing for midnight mass, and I am extremely nervous.
I shall......
Where you had the H2 for this recording Rob....it was spot on. Fantastic sound quality, good manual views and pedal board, great hymn this, really enjoyed this...Cheers Mr C :-)

Thank you!
Mr. Charles. It is perfect.
Karen Marcusson Thank you very much Karen! :o)
Hello Mr. Charles. Just watching your video again and I'm looking forward to letting my mom see it when she visits tomorrow. If you don't mind my asking; where are you (area in which you reside) ? I would very much like to purchase a CD of this and other recordings if you have. I try to listen on the way to work, however, some areas have inadequate reception while driving. Thanking you in advance!!
Karen Marcusson Thank You Karen, I'm based in Swansea which is in South Wales, United Kingdom, I've been planning for a while to do record some CD's to support the All Saints Restoration Appeal and possibly a DVD, I will do my best.
RobCharles1981 Hi. I would like to be one of the first to purchase a CD and DVD. I would like to request my favorite though; 'Crown Him with many crowns'. Thank you. Should you ever perform in the US, such as Charlotte, NC, please notify me. Thank you once again!!
Karen Marcusson My Pleasure Karen! :o)
Many thanks Your Welcome! :o)
Wonderful rendition of a great and powerful hymn to the honor and glory of God. But ... what's with the little alarm clock?
A lovely Hymn are playing 3 flats ? Great spots used
Two Sharps!
Rob, at my church we used a Allen organ which stops should i use to make near sound
Dunno know on that one!
in the common praise its 3 flats
Also, can you possibly do a video on "O God Our Help In Ages Past" and/or Prelude and Fugue in C Major?
I did St Anne a while ago but will do the other soon!
Very good Rob, but I wonder who presses the dislike button twice? strange eh..
Cheers Paul yep it is strange - probably with idiot with much else to do with their time - or the fact they don't like the adverts at the start of my vids!
What hymnal do you play your hymns from?
Mission Praise or Hymns Old And New.
Hi Rob. Very nice hymn, but I prefer it in the key of E-flat. I think the usual D is too dull and brittle sounding for this hymn. E-flat just fits this one better I think and the words sound better to it than D.
Jack Wood Thanks Jack.
This is played to fast for my liking. Good use of diapasons 8' and 16' especially in Verse 3. Also like the use of the Quintation 16' sounds very strong and creates a good sense of imagery. Well Done!
Cheers, it's not fast it's how it's played, it maybe the echo of the building.
Many Thanks It's easy when you know - unlike for those two idiots who can't even play!
Rob, did you get my friend request on Facebook? It's OK if you don't except it, I just thought we could be friends since we are both organists.
Jack Wood No Jack Sorry I didn't go ahead and re-send again....
RobCharles1981 I re-sent it.
Wait. What? I see some kind of keys that you're playing with your feet. They don't look like the pedals from a piano. I see you going all over the place. How do you do that? I guess knowing the piano isn't enough to play the organ. 😣 I love this performance. Which is the original organ by the way. I see organs that have 2 levels and others that have 6.
It took years of training to play the feet its the second manual - the great.
Heavenly
Thanks!
Many thanks! :o)
Many Thanks! :o)
