The Warriors Look Washed

- The Golden State Warriors are off to a rough start. Despite Stephen Curry playing at an MVP level, the Warriors are currently on a six game losing streak and look no better than they were last year. Klay Thompson has significantly regressed, Draymond Green is more volatile than ever, and Chris Paul's fit with the team continues to be an awkward one. Can the Warriors turn it around? Or has father time finally caught up to the Dubs Dynasty?

Warriors looking an awful lot like those early 90's Celtics where they were still fairly competitive but their best days were definitely behind them!
It’s like the Celtics when they lost to Miami,
1989/90 to 1991/92. The Celtics won 50 games every year and but never got past the second round. Bird, McHale and Parish were too old.
It’s literally only been 2 seasons since their last championship and the season or two before that people were saying the same thing. I’m not even a warriors fan but idk I don’t doubt them anymore.
yeah, it happens. important guys get older and that magic they had in their prime doesn't show up as often. Steph is great, but Klay is washed and Draymond is more and more out of control.
@JamaalDaGreatest and that last championship they beat bunch of injured teams it really young. THEY getting stomped by any of top 4 teams even of made playoffs
It's really a shame cuz it ain't even Steph's fault. Everyone else around him is falling apart.
True but that's how it is for most guys. Steph has been lucky to have a great roster around him most years. Other guys never get that or they only get it a couple years.
Curry gonna play like this until the day he steps off the court. He’s genuinely too good for Klay and Dray to support anymore and Wiggins isn’t showing up like he did last year. Genuinely a shame to see such a powerful dynasty end like this
bro every the warriors have rough starts and injuries like this yall say the same thing every year
@@everlainz226no… that is simply not true in GS prime years they never had a start like this only time they did was last year and those 2 years when curry was hurt and klay was recovering did they win a championship in those years? do you warrior fans even pay attention or do yall jist come out the woodwork when they win lol
Amazing. Draymond green punched them out of contention.
Lol Jordan Poole wasn't the answer. Klay needs to come off the bench or get traded.
@@lilboyblue3000 actually yeah he did because last year they still had some gas in the tank but Jordan Poole rejecting the notion of this being a team and that trickling down to the younger guys fucked everything up,
Was it great before no but when he was bought into the team he actually did do good for them and when his high points were what they were seeing damn it was actually good. And considering I am liable to believe the story of the day before he got he finally started talking shit to Draymond who was just on his ass and then the day after Draymond decided to just knock his lights out because he couldn't get his get back it's understandable that Jordan went "fuck this fuck you all"
I think they would have been better last season but like the comment saying they are like the latter stage Larry Bird Celtics I will say they would have lost to Denver. Even if the team was actually liking each other.
Draymond is a tall version of Pat Bev
My guess is that Steph is going through the same period Kobe did at the end of his career. Got the feel good ring to prove unequivocally he can be the man on a championship team. Will still be very good for the most part, but the front office won't know what to do about the fact that you can no longer have Steph single handedly save you during rough stretches.
The Warriors are going through what the Lakers went through when Kobe was nearing retirement. They want to be loyal to their star but as soon as the star retires they’ll be trash
The only concern I'd have is what you both alluded to at the end: the team-and subsequently, the city-not giving up on the players who brought them so much success. There's a penalty to be paid for keeping the gang around...just ask the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Hey now, man. The penguins are doing alright, all things considered.
As a Dubs fan it hurts to see the team slowly come down to earth. But Father Time is undefeated man. If this is what the team is I’m happy going down with the core guys that brought us to this point. Lord knows before was a lot worse for the Warriors and their fans lol
it hurts? bro got 4 rings and is talking about pain shut tf up
Your warriors are unfortunately trash now. They acted cocky in that initial finals run. I hope everyone goes out every night and tries to beat them badly.
This is what younger me was waiting for so long. To finally see the evil dynasty not win anymore would have made my younger self happy. But now, I just feel sad.😢
I would feel bad if they hadn't done the KD acquisition. That killed the fun in the NBA for 2 years and it would've been 3 had KD stayed healthy. It was the least fun the NBA had ever been imo.
I don't
It always feels sad and you realize how much you looked forward to the evil empires and who would be the ones to topple them. The answer is always never another team, but their own mortality.
@@channelneo7519#deep
“The Evil dynasty” is crazy 😂😂
They need to Steph to drop 35 every game and when he doesn’t they suck
I do wish people would respect the toll injuries do on a persons mental health. Like imagine going from a stud athlete that is one of the greatest to do it and now your body isn't working how it used to and the doubt that comes with can you be that guy, can you be the number 2 again.
Everyone other than Steph is underperforming. I feel really bad for them cause their salary situation is trash...
2013 Kobe flashbacks. All time great player in his later years gotta carry an old injured roster every night with scoring heavy.
Only fools feel bad for anyone in this situation
No the young players are doing good but kerry keeps giving klay minutes when his gone he seems like his gotta he a role player and Wiggins has been really bad
Yeah I feel so bad for a multi-billion dollar corporation not being able to pay its millionaire employees 😢😢
@@brianbadonde9251 who cares your never getting that money lol
They even had that great start but reality check set in.
Klay is washed.
CP0 is washed.
No bench.
Draymond Green is basically a walking distraction.
Andrew Wiggins isn't focused either.
This is basically a Stephen Curry team, I mean literally, he's all alone.
Jonathan Kuminga is basically the lone bright spot.
Team imploding since he punched Poole. Draymond is toxic
@@actrue9712 draymond was wrong for that but it just showed how Poole really is as a player, with what he's doing in Washington right now
@@actrue9712 The majority of the team like Green, so it isnt he who is the problem. Also Poole is playing really badly atm .
@@stefankatsarov5806 Wonder if he make it 2 months without kicking someone in the balls.
@@stefankatsarov5806 Poole clearly thrives when he’s in a good system with good players. It was expected when he left that that was going to happen
The Warriors organization might just let Klay walk in free agency this off season since this is the last year from his original extension from 2019. There were rumors that before Bob Meyers left that Klay was asking for another max extension, if that's true Klay might be on a new team next season as his current play isn't worthy of another max extension.
I doubt it. I bet they re-sign him off legacy and accept their fate as a bum team for the rest of Steph's career.
4 chips ain't anything to scoff at.
@@lankyhanky9772exactly, they'd rather go out swinging with their old guys rather than change it up. I think if they make the playoffs they can still have some crazy shooting luck and end up in the finals. It's happened before
@@brianbadonde9251this team is not making no finals 😭
@@spaceghostp6672 all it takes is for Klay or Wiggins to catch fire in a couple series
@@brianbadonde9251that ain’t happening they’re not going to no finals it’s over
Just a little context for you, Steph Curry has not been playing at all. These last six games he's been out. Klay Thompson needs to figure his s*** out though he is looking washed.
What?? Dude he’s only missed a couple games. Klay is shot chucking us out of close games and needs to be benched. CP is washed, and Wiggs is in LaLa Land
When chet holngren hit that dagger to send that game to OT i died
The end of a era
Was end of an era a couple years ago tbh. Klay not the same after injury. He was key to when they were dominant
@@actrue9712facts his defense used to be so good smh sad what happened to him
@@actrue9712 Well you cant say that since they won a championship last year whit the same core, still looking good.
Now tho it looks finished. It feals that they gave everything they had in that last title run.
@@isaakfrmla it’s sad man. Injuries suck. Wish he could just play like Ray Allen on the heat at this point. Think he’s dribbling too much.
@@stefankatsarov5806 no it is an end of an era. When they were dominating. Last year was last year. It’s wasn’t like they were dominating prior to that either. That’s what an era is
Chris Paul was an all star level player playing out of his mind until the moment he hit 37. Gotta give that 6 foot guard props for that. Guy can still get you 10-15 assists a night with 0 turnovers at almost 39 years old.
Synthetic Sports, back at it again with the jinks takes the same day they upload
I believe in them. Klays always has a slow start, CP3 is old but he know season is long and he don't want injury at playoffs so not play hard. Curry is in amazing shape. Wiggins will back to normal during the season. There is 70 regular season games left. They haven't said the last word yet
Warriors are finished. Any hope of a championship is delusional.
Every time they make video like this the team always looks good afterwards 😂😂‼️
It’s literally only because Wiggins and klay were cold. Got wide open Good looks
As a warriors fan, it's just bad streak and we'll get better 💪

Lakers aren’t doing anything either this year sooo. The best is behind them for both teams

You guys should do a video at some point commenting on the officiating as of late. This is coming after Jokic was ejected vs Pistons, but that combined with some of the ejections and questionable calls as of late has to be looked at.
it’s really tough because the salary situation is brutal but they also can’t really ship out their core 3. for steph’s sake i really hope he doesn’t kill himself putting them on his back again like he had to last year
In lineups that feature Saric at PF Warriors defensive rating is 102.4 (208 possessions)
In lineups that feature Saric at C Warriors defensive rating is 116.6 (353 possessions)
This isn’t a knock on Saric, more so on Kerr for bad coaching, Saric is a PF at the end of the day that constantly is getting put in lineups at C but with noticeably smaller players leaving him by far the tallest player when Kerr knows he isn’t the best of rebounders or rim protectors, hence why our defensive rating is VASTLY BETTER when Kerr actually plays a traditional Center next to Saric which moves Saric to playing the 4 spot rather the 5. During this losing streak some blame can fall on some players for underperforming but we could legit won 3 of these 6 games we lost if Kerr was a good enough coach that maximizes his player’s skillsets, tendencies, tangibles and attributes.
Lineups Kerr SHOULD be running while Draymond and Gp2 remain out,
PG: Curry
SG: Klay
SF: Wiggins
PF: Saric
C:Looney
Second Unit:
PG: Cp3
SG: Bpodz
SF: Moody
PF: Kuminga
C: TJD
Note- I would start Saric and obviously have Looney play Center next to him, reason i’d put Kuminga back to the second unit is because him and Cp3 could have more possessions in the PnR so they could gel more with more reps, also Kerr failing to play TJD alongside Cp3 is mind boggling, Kuminga and TJD are both WAAY more athletic than Looney and Saric and so it’d make more sense to keep Kuminga in lineups with Cp3 and have TJD in there too because they are lob threats for Cp3, and him being the Point God he’s gonna find them, they’re also quicker which creates for better PnR because they roll quicker the the basket opening up lanes thus collapsing defenses thus leaving most likely someone open from the perimeter. Kerr sucks at coach i’d do a better job if I was in his position
I dont... get it? Aren't Steph AND Draymond out? A week and a half ago it was all about how the Chris Paul fit was seamless and the bench had evolved, but now that they are without their best defensive player AND their best player suddenly they look washed? NOW Cp looks washed? lol
If you want to make a video about Klay and Wiggs, you do a video about Klay and Wiggs, not about the whole team
It’s draymond’s fault he’s out. No one else but his own.
@@rod2467 And what does that has to do with the Warriors being washed??????????????
@@felipecouto1102dray is also washed he does crazy shit because he can’t keep up no more
I live over here in the S.F. Bay Area, my family are huge Warriors fans but I'm a bit more distant about it. Yeah, I'll root for them and all, but I'm not the biggest basketball fan and I don't follow them hardcore.
There's several big reasons why they've been sucking pretty bad this season. The core is old and with the exception of Curry, they're not performing as well anymore. As you said, time gets everyone. The team also in recent years had done bad contracts, i.e. gambling on Poole and Thompson, both blowing up in the team's face. Thompson has never been the same since his Finals injury and this season he's a lot worse than last year's version. He was once a very well rounded player that could shoot and defend well. It's not like that anymore. Jordan Poole big contract was a big gamble worked out terribly. Wiggins isn't playing like he was in the championship year.
In the championship 2021-2022 team, it really looked like Wiggins & Poole were going to be the future of the franchise. In late 2023? Poole is gone and Wiggins isn't doing so great anymore.
The team is just overall bad. On offense the only consistently good performer is Curry. Defense is terrible. I do think the team will still do well enough to get into the playoffs but, but judging by how they've done so far against good teams, they won't get far.
The team is also loyal to a fault. Again, the Thompson contract. Kerr's stubbornness with roster changes. Etc. They can't let go of the core stars. They're clinging to the past and because of that they will not go far this season.
A basketball season is really long though. Lots of things can happen, but right now the Warriors just suck. You can't sugar coat a 6-8 record to look any better than it really is.
Lmao Christian cage is the best
Crazy draymond suspended and curry injured during one of the toughest stretches of their schedule but they're washed? When the schedule lightens up the record will reflect. Klay had a slow start last year too
They started 5-1, and their core is all older than 32. They are washed.

I really, really believed this could be the last charge of the Light Brigade. And it can still be.
But if Dray is gonna keep being a psycho, Klay is gonna keep chucking up bricks, and Wiggins doing....whatever it was he was doing until the very last game, then they aren't even gonna sniff the playoffs.
Just terrible play. Oh and let's not forget Kerr keeping Klay and CP in there to rot when MM and TJD rot on the bench or get 15 minutes.
Yeah. Great start.
They don’t want à tall ringprotector, they swear on klay and draymond but their prime is over, so obviously. What a pity. Dinasty completely over, that’s for sure
Being a Thunder fan I have such mixed feelings seeing Golden State be so bad. Like Klay and Steph used to be the bane of my existence but I respected the hell out of them as players. And now seeing them as a shell of their former selves is just more sad than anything. Like I can’t really revel in the fact that we’ve beaten them twice already because I know it’s mainly an age issue. But they had a great run but it’s over for them sadly and I think now we are now just waiting for the next dynasty to come along.
steph good
How does Wiggins go from being a 76% free throw shooter in his rookie season to only 50% so far this year?
What happened to him?
A retrospective on the we believe warriors would be awesome!
I called the warriors a lottery team without Steph. Wow I’m right.
you are wild for putting draymonds choke in your intro 😂
rockets fan here. i stayed away from this vid until our game against them ended, didn’t want the jinx. didn’t matter :/
I hope they are washed when we play them tonight, lol! The Rockets still don't have a road win this season! 😮😮😮
Mad I didn't realize that
And still don't
Seeing the warriors falling off feels very weird after all the chips they won and the dynasty they created
7:12 I was wondering if they were gonna use the look pat bev picture this video and then they did it 6 seconds later
Y’all gotta watch AM Hoops video about JP. Those clips of the huddle were taken way out of context it’s crazy
I'm seeing this as being a possibility. Maybe the currently constructed team is a wash, but all they really need is 1 or 2 key pieces. If we get our hands on a rim-running, stretch big, OR if Klay can pull himself out of this rut and stop taking idiotic shots, we still have a chance.
Warriors been looking for a rim running stretch big since 2017 lol
Bro we HAVE a rim-running big but Kerr refuses to play him, his name you ask, it’s Trayce Jackson Davis
@@Grievous_ I really would like to see more of TJD. He needs more play time, for sure. He ain't a stretch, though. If anything, he's an undersized big who can't play outside the paint. But he is definitely a rim runner and a lob threat
It alright dubs fans we still got a good young core woth kuminga, moody, trayce, wiggins is in his prime, prodemski so once our young player hit their absolute peak
This warrior squad reminds me of the 2011-12 lakers. Still good or Pugh to be a playoff team but just old and aren’t going to get far
I love this account so much
Their 4th title run was full of injured teams and they thought they had a complete roster, not improving on it. Now all the teams have developed or got better and they’re on their way out
they should trade Green and Pool and bring some more young superstar. By siging Cris Paul I felt like they decide to end season around 5-8 place and just maybe win first round. Even tho what you guys said, maybe thez want protect value of franchise.
Noticed you guys did a video on the lakers, clippers and warriors failing. Y’all even did a video on Wemby… so we not gon talk about the elephant in the room? We want a video on the BLAZERS AND SCOOT
Y’all keep this same energy in the finals. Everybody tough when they’re up.
Warriors are done over finished! Until they can prove it
Warriors losing Feeds the Soul
Gobert got the last laugh. Trade both!
When Steph comes back the dubs will win games hopefully
Wiggs needs to get back in the groove and he will bounce back hopefully
Klay might figure it out but idk bc klay isn’t the same anymore
If Chris Paul Dario Saric and Kuminga step up this season then the Warriors might be a winning team
To many variables
I've lived long enough to see the Patriots and Warriors finally fall. Thank God.
No dynasty lasts forever...Warriors can either do one of two things....ride it out with this core til they run out their current deals or blow it up
This video is gonna hurt my heart
I think that this era of GS is over ive been a fan since 2014 and watching them grow and ball put was historic those prime curry klay green and couple kd years whete the reason they are as valuable of a franchise they are now i think that they need to close tbe curtain on this team though they have had there years but your not getting a chip off this team curry and freaking saric are the only players that are preforming as expected
you are a glory hunter right ? who will you support next
It's still early in the season. After having a look through their stats they look mediocre and the team seems to be very average.
They wouldn't do their legends like that so instead, their legends will go out sad
Klay Thompson isn't what he was. And the team as a whole just isn't working as well as it used to be hopefully the scheduled OKC game woke up Andrew Wiggins and he starts playing good but still that isn't going to help the team they just have too many holes and ironically CP3 isn't as big of a detriment as we thought just the rest of the team as well isn't great.
I feel so much better about myself now because I can guard a statue. So I got that on Klay Thompson. Just wish I had 200 million dollars also. Sigh.
To be fair… it’s NOVEMBER!
They had a good run all dynastys end
Did u say Steph doesn’t play defense he always play defense. Put taht narrative out there just say he isn’t the best defender and he klay to pick up slack
Ima wait til like middle of the season to judge, but so far, my complaints bout GSW is comin true. Idk why they traded for CP3. They look old, they look tired.
Just think… they could’ve had ANT instead of going w/ James Wiseman..
Curry still dominating. It's not over till he is
the sauce is just gone, Klay couldn't come back to his level after 2 consecutive injury's in a row, and draymond is just tryna make it out the league and into the UFC, or WWE, it's a shame, curry deserves a better competing team especially at this point in his career while he still got it
Klay really looking washed nowadays, also Green back to being a menace
I'm loving the Klay Memes
Honestly this is how it's supposed to end.
Look At All These DUB Haters. It Ain't The DUBS Fault That The Dame Led BLAZERS Failed To Win A Championship. I Do Feel For You Blazers Fans Tho. I Mean 1977 Is A Long Ass Time Ago. It Took The DUBS 40 Fvckin Years To Win Another NBA FINALS, Mind You (Been A Fan Since 88) Prior To The 2012-13 Season, I Had Only Seen The DUBS Play In The Playoffs 5 Times In 24 Year's. Thank God That Changed. In 11 Year's The DUBS Have Made The Playoffs 9 Out Of 11 Year's With 4 NBA Championships & IMO, The DUBS Successfully Changed The Whole Damn League To The Point That Every Team In The League Has Copy Pasted The DUBS Way Of Playing. DUB NATION 4 LIFE
No they haven't, what team is still doing a small ball line up? We already see how ineffective it was against the Lakers and now they are tenth in the west
at least we had a peak to descend from. can't say the same for portland.
Steph and bron need to link up
Are they relly over?
I don't agree with this take they had two of their best defenders not playing for a pretty decent stretch there gp3 and green they had a really shitty stretch of shitty ass basketball but during that really good run the bench was outperforming the starters and i can only see the starters getting better throughout the season. That OKC loss was brutal and something is easy as a foul to send them to the line would have had that win we did beat that really good team on the road and a buzzer beater and almost beat him again with the buzzer beater if it wasn't for them not fouling. It's only 17 games into season and a team last year that made the playoffs beat the Kings in my opinion absolutely have a better team this year they've won games on the road they're almost at as many wins as they did have last year in 17 games this year two years from winning the NBA championship. I just think it's way too early to count these guys out
Casual analysis I'm sorry. Saric is a big role player plus is still early into the season, wiggins and klay will awake and draymond will be available
I don't understand how the Warriors staff allowed Draymond to do what he's been doing for so long. The man is a pair of black airforces come to life and has had almost zero repercussions for acting like a moron on the court. I don't think 5 games was enough since he acts like a water head regularly.
That 2022 ring was a fluke
Yesss I've been waiting for this to happen for years.Time for the golden girls to head to the senior center
Facts🔥🔥
lets gooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!
Warriors need a tall 🦒 center. Warriors should trade Klay Thompson or Andrew Wiggins to acquire a center as cheap as Josh Hartenstein or as expensive as Myles Turner.
They can still be a playoff team
Everybody not named curry is washed on this team hard ti believe there worse than last year. They should’ve gotten a better trade for Poole than Cp3 but maybe they can win it next year and make so good offseason moves cause this year is already over for them
Talk about the kings Next
Wow yall so quick to call us washed the season just started

Andrew Wiggins sold his soul for that 2022 finals....(salty Celtics fan)
Not yet - master chief
I pray Portland stays washed
Klay needs to be benched. You can ship Draymond off too because his antics are toxic. Kerr needs to go because he’s a terrible coach. And just rebuild around Steph a big man. Off to the races he goes.
they dont play D like they used to either.......
Put a fork in these guys. They’re done. Kerr has no idea how to coach anything but small ball - at a time when the competition is faster, younger, and taller. Besides, Klay, Wiggins, and Draymond are dead weight on Curry. Steph has maybe 1 - 2 years left before the injuries mount up and his stamina trails off. Either remake the team without Kerr and the dead weight guys, or get used to being at the bottom of the rankings for the next 3 years or more.
I feel bad for Steph but the Warriors are done. Jk is not having the breakout season everyone was boosting about, Klay needs to come off the bench, Wiggs been MIA but for 1 game, Dray can't calm the fuq down, thier defense is worse than the Suns who has zero defense
chase center in DTSF... lol.....
My biggest fear is that curry is going to have to do a 2013 Kobe where he overworks himself trying to carry a sorry team to the playoffs
They don’t have time to wait for klay.
Welp, they won the game they played immidiately after this video is released, so, who knows
