    Jack, thanks for sharing the planning and build of a garden. I’m sure that Client’s neighbours must’ve had an extra long look and had garden envy as they were taking their evening walk. 👏🌸❤️🇨🇦

    You made it vibrant and unique in an otherwise static development. I bet you get a few referrals. Thanks for letting us in on your process. I'm not a designer, but I designed my property and attracted people from the neighborhood, one of which hired me to do a large makeover of the back of her property. With trepidation it goes in this spring. I have a great contractor so it should be fine, but I get inspiration from your projects. Many thanks.

I really enjoy seeing you bring in the plants with the horses, the beautiful homes and the incredible plantings you do. Hi Jack. Lovely transformation. I am interested in why you designed as you did. What wasn't working for the homeowner, why did you make the changes you did, what was the goal of the transformation etc. Please tell us more about the plant choices and WHY you chose them for their location in the garden....all I really got from this video in terms of explanation was the plants were almost dead and the soil was terrible. A close up video with explanation would have been so helpful.

    I like how you showed us your design process. How do you site functional areas such as BBQ, fire pit, or play areas for the kids? I am wondering what considerations you take into account when deciding where to place those areas, and how do you incorporate them into the plant life of the garden? Awesome work as always!

    • @janethurlbrink4753

    • @JackBarnwellDesign
      @JackBarnwellDesign  Před 2 lety

      On larger projects, with a bit more topography, we do… but this one was a small, little overhaul that didn’t have any paths, patios, or retention needed so it didn’t call for any hardscape-
      That’s really why we could do it in a day-!
