I'm having a hard time figuring out what they did wrong. Cops run tags all day every day. What difference does it make if she's a state attorney?
The answer is and has been for over half dozen years is they did nothing wrong this traffic stop was absolutely lawfull in every detail.
*police have to have a reason to run tags! they do have scanners on some vehicles but those only notify police if there are tickets against the vehicle from my understanding!*
@lixmediallc9846 That is incorrect! The ALPR scan plates for compliance with registration regulations and the law in the U S is plain registration inquiries (tag run) may be (and is) done any time, any where, for any reason, or for officer information at will. That is the law and has been for decades and is supported by the supreme court, thus as they ran that tag in this story the inquiry was and is absolutely legal in every detail.
They did nothing wrong. People are just looking for reasons to be outraged over. They were professional from the start, and her being the state's attorney doesn't change a damn thing. She's not immune from being pulled over, just like everybody else. I bet if someone stole her car she'd want them out there doing the exact same thing to other people.

It's a citation, so the officer stopped the car. The officers did nothing wrong in this stop. The city council guy wanted to get out of it. He didn't make his dad cancel the insurance but driving without insurance isn't allowed in most if not all states.
And clearing his throat. He knew he effed up. Big time.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Her rubbing her fingers together when she asked the officers for their cards must have started a fire in those cops eyes 😅😅
😂😂😂
LMFAO
My fav part
I loved that moment. Suddenly not their car and the one leaning in weasels away.
Most of the country has "auto plate verification scanners" too , why is she supposed to be an exception ? Same for excessive tint (looks like a drug dealers car) it's the judgement all cops make. Exception: Phoenix az
this video should be renamed "how to un-man a man in 2 minutes"
What a fool you are! Nothing of the kind occurred, She was stopped and detained and her plate certified. The policeman required her compliance, and comply she did and politely at that. He required her I D which she submitted to him and after he examined her document and found her to be legal he then freed her to depart. Ending the lawful traffic stop then and there. That policeman is still happily on the job making stops and enforcing the law. She having been dismissed of multiple cases and duties by the governor, she is long long gone from any state offices. What idiocy are you talking about what demanning and of whom?
How did you calculate the $83.3 million defamation damages ?

And keeping the record correct and accurate all that time!

What did the cop do later?
The way she started smiling when he said her windows were too dark...
Had me rolling. I know that look. I have done that exact look lol
Oh hey my step dad got a ticket for the same thing...
@Dejan Luca Dejan Luca yeah but its the fact that he said we tag everything first he was trying to think of reasons
@Dejan Luca Dejan Luca you get it; your not as stupid as your argument suggest. the stop was ILLEGAL, cops not suppose to run license plates without probable cause, ie traffic accident, speeding, etc. so your right they routinely break the law, and that has everything to do with abuse of power. I don't expect you to understand that, so this is for other readers.
@Dejan Luca Dejan Luca ya im curious how this is racially driven pull over?
"the windows were really dark" the smile she gave after he said that😂😂
Because they can legally run her tags but they need a legitimate reason to pull her over 😂 so they went for "your windows are really dark" what clowns
Whoopedy Doo Dooders - Maybe you should get your facts straight
The primary reason for the mv stop was for her plate not the windows
The officer clearly states this in the video
Tinted windows is a secondary offense in the State of Florida
They had a legitimate reason to pull her over
@@maizenblue981 You are right. but If I were dealing with the people she puts away I would have tinted windows.
A tag that comes back to nothing is in no way a legitimate reason for a stop.
There is no warrant, tickets, stolen property. You can’t just say because you’ve never seen it before that there is probable cause for a stop
Justin Chiles - Really
So why do all of us need to register our mv’s Justin??!
All mv’s operated on a public way in this country need to be registered with their states DMV
It stands to reason that all those vehicle’s registrations would be on file with the DMV wouldn’t it?!

Her: I'm the State Attorney.
Him: Why do I hear boss music?
Just wanna let you know: she's not their boss. As a matter of fact, the only reason she has any power over them at all is because she can accuse them of something and every media outlet will report that accusation as fact, and then the public will freak out and crucify the officers. At the end of the day though, she has no actual authority over any police officer in the sate of Florida.

@@maizenblue981 She's been the State Attorney for 3 years now, a very high profile position. The moment she leaves she'll likely be recruited as a partner in some giant lawfirm. People in her position are set for life
that aint ordinary bruh - You’re probably 100% correct
But that doesn’t erase the fact that this woman, in her “high profile position” didn’t know what type of plates are on the vehicle that she drives daily
How embarrassing for a State Attorney to have to stand in front of the media and ADMIT that the mv stop was LEGAL and consistent with Florida law
Resume isn’t looking so great now is it!
Maize N Blue it isn’t an issue if legality. Cops operate within the law all the time yet harass black people endlessly. The cops knew her plates were state plates driven by law enforcement officers, yet they saw a black woman and decided to harass her anyway. Her career is intact while theirs is in jeopardy. Especially if this incident went on their permanent records. Racism doesn’t pay
ordinary bruh- nice to know the mind reading race police are on this case, yet your crystal ball didn't reveal that her personal vehicle doesn't have state tags (which WOULD show up in their system)? Her tag came back with nothing because she is a State's Attorney. The tag is blocked out because of her position. Try looking her up on property appraiser website and I'll bet nothing comes up, yet it's very likely she owns a home. They block info to protect law enforcement figures, politicians, etc (they do this for police officers as well). And BTW, cops harass PEOPLE endlessly, pretty much part of their job description. Just because a black person is pulled over, doesn't make it profiling. However, accusing police of profiling every time a black person is pulled over, is profiling...
