- Israeli forces have arrested more than eight thousand Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the war on Gaza. Those who've been released, talk about ill-treatment, lack of food, and medical negligence in prisons. Al Jazeera spoke with Omar Assaf, a 74-year-old Palestinian activist from Ramallah who spent six months in an Israeli jail.
