videos like these remind me that there is real talent in the younger generation! real amazing stuff! makes me feel bad about my 20 years of craftmanship skills sense you can do stuff I cant! I need my grandson to be more like you.
There certainty is
@@joeyaldente8858 it ain’t that easy brother, no matter how hard I try he just wants to look at his damn iPhone and Xbox thingy. It’s such a shame.
The diy router bit idea just opened up so many possibilities. Thank you.
Not trying to be a Safety Karen but if you do the custom router bit idea use a speed controller. My brother in law has a mangled thumb from a homemade router bit breaking and I bedding itself in his hand
agreed. that was pretty cool.
That onion cut and diced on your cutting board will never be the same! Seriously... you have wonderful skills and a good eye for beauty. Subscribed.
I would never have considered pine for a cutting board! It turned out beautiful. And that vase! You are extremely creative!!
That router trick was dope AF. Way to think outside the box!
5:20 gives new meaning to "pencil pusher." 😂
Mad skills! Love the fact that you make the most of your materials and do all this with basic tools, no elaborate expensive tools that most of us do not have. Kudos!
The slightest details give your projects so much character!!
Wow, so inspiring. Not much waste either. I would like to see more of these videos. Warmest wishes to you
You are totally awesome! Your knowledge at your age is very impressive. If someone taught you, they did taught you well. If you taught yourself, my hat is off and I bow to you. I love that you paint and stain your items as well as embellishing them. I appreciate your videos and how very thorough you are with your instructions. Thank you for sharing!
The faux log effect is ingenious. Truly original ideas you put out here. Thanks, Josh.👍
Awsome job.
Home made gifts are best.
Very good use of 2x6.
Josh, I love the fact that you are stepping outside the box. Using things like the caulk and really thinking about your design an trying to get the most out of your board! Keep up the good work.
Color me impressed. It is refreshing to see someone who, not only think outside the box, but outside the building, lol. You went way far from anyone else, and your maturity shows. I can tell you are a meticulous person, dividing that board in so many parts and they all fit flawlessly. You are an amazing woodworker, Sir! Thak you for sharing.
I think my favorite project out of these six has to be the step stool with the "live edge". I love how it looks.
Just keep those creative juices flowing.
It's amazing how you got Steve Buscemi to narrate your video!! +1
Thank you. I enjoy seeing projects that involve minimal amounts of tools. It gives those of us without a fully outfitted shop hope.
He has a good creative mind.
That vase is so cool
Ingenious way of turning a 2x6 into faux logs!! Congratulations, nice work!
Great idea using the screw in the router! If it is tight in the chuck, I don't see someone getting hurt unless they are already careless in the shop.
The vace came out Amazing
Love the stool!!
That spice rack is so damn cool! The slight aesthic choices to make it more appealing are great!
project genius, such a great imagination!
The lanterns are super cute
@JoshWright you are very clever! Well spoken and good at explaining. Thanks for the ideas. For the candle holders...use battery operated candles. When you glued on the bottom it looked pretty good as is...how about making them 2 different heights and fancy up the bottom board and leave them glued together? For the spice bottles you can use compressed air to make sure they are cleaned out (sawdust).
If you have left over plugs...drill a hole in the center, glue them together and wire them for a lamp. The little step is perfect for small children trying to potty train...you can carve their with good job on them.
Xmas gifts from Josh are going to be pretty awesome! There is so much to love in these builds...using the screw as a bit to make the lines on the vase, using caulk to get the white finish and getting the log look on the stool! It would be hard to choose just one...I love them all!
Hell yeah. I'm impressed with the design of that vase, and i love the look of that stool!
This kid is ballin. Lovin the fake live edge.
I love your ingenuity!! 😊
I like the spice rack idea
Strong math. Very cool video. Thanks from NZ
Excellent video.Very creative and functional items. Also, loved the "router table" clever idea
I'm first time on your channel which I found after searching for "simple woodworking projects" on CZcams. I paused after the watching the first project, the vase.
That's incredible how you made that. Very original. Thanks for sharing your skills. Now I continue watching the video.
I like your disclaimer. I've got the same table saw and use it the same way. I had my nephew on a job years ago. Needed him to cut casing. Had him count his fingers before starting. Told him he had to leave with the same amount. Told him the blade won't cut you unless you touch it. He left with 10.
All projects are interesting, but the last one is really great. Thank you.
You are amazingly creative, never stop having fun with it!
I remember when I was in my teens, I would do carpentry work. My friends would tell me leave that for the adults . I’m glad I started young , this young man has a bright future.
You've got real talent and I love watching you work, I also really like your narration. Keep up the beautiful work.
omg, so beautiful lamp
Cool.! This guy actually uses the Ryobi tools that are in my budget.
Awesome video, Josh Wright. Watching your fingers so close to the band saw made me very nervous. I like your video.
Your creativity is amazing.
Wow! You are by far the most creative wood crafter I’ve ever seen.
Love the candle holders....a battery faux candle would be great in one of these, give you the ambience without the fire :). thank you for sharing this: I have it on my list to make!
Thanks. Good idea on the fake candles
Yes the LED flicker candles also keeps it safe, I have a 3 year old grandson.
Nice stuff. You prove that it is the craftsman and not the tools that make the project. I see you use work-a-day tools and not all the fancy stuff the other CZcams creators have in your shop. You're very talented. Best of everything, from an old timer, in the coming year.
Although I may not see it, This guy's going to be a famous woodworker in the future. More than just CZcams. More like Frank Lloyd Wrightish famous.
Great stuff Josh! Love the efficient use of wood and materials!
Nice idea for a "live edge" It worked quite well.
Josh, Nice work on the lag bolt design. That is pretty awesome. The caulk was a good idea as well!
I like the vase really nice 👍
Very clever use of tools and materials.
5 gifts anyone would like. To me personally, you knocked a homerun with t the vase. It is beautiful.
Well done! Thanks for sharing.
You are very inventive. I like watching your process.
Wow! Just creative as all heck. Very inspiring the way you think outside the box.
Fantastic projects! Really well done. The stool would look awesome with a couple of plant pots on, that faux live edge is brilliant.👍
Great job, I really like watching you work .
Thanks for all the ideas...
Some very cool projects and great use of that piece of board, hardly any wasted, well done lad, inspiring to see from such a young person. Really have to give a special mention to the "live edge" stool, initially had me fooled, very creative - one bit of advice, adding a cross brace to the back would make it a lot stronger and stable.
I'm with you, Lynx. I love the look of the bench and I understand that he had no wood to use from the original 2x6, but I'd have to cheat and go over to my scrap pile and salvage a 1x3 or a 1x4 scrap to use for a brace across the back.
Very creative on the homemade router bit, glad it worked out for you.
Young man , you are amazing ! Great work ! Cheers from Texas ….
Your a f ing genius dude great work as always
Been watching your videos. You are a superstar in the making!
awesome job, love the vase and stool are my favorites
Great great job man that's impressive
Real clever how you made the two templates fit for the vase. Resourceful and smart. Brilliant work ✌️
I love the video and the projects. You might check the record, but I think you broke the record for the most disclaimers per hour. ;)
Amazing projects, but far beyond my woodworking skills. Thanks for sharing.
These are awesome! You are so creative! I never would have thought to make spice containers! Merry Christmas, Josh!
Love the candle lanterns! Definitely going to try those.
So much talent
Ok... thats a dope vase bro. Nice!
Wow just wow!!! I really enjoyed watching this video! That beautiful vase was my favorite and would love to receive one of those as a gift! You are crazy talented!
Never cease to impress
the live edge stool also can work as a spice rack or to put photos lol, multi purpose, I love it.
This guy is a very creative 9 fingered carpenter.
Keep up the good work.
Might want to revisit your push stick techniques.
Nice work young man. Very inspiring.
Great Job. Seriously creative.
Awesome projects. I'm going to try the lanterns. Thanx for the video!
Great job, Josh!
Very clever. Nice visual art. Wonderful talent. But, most of all. Good old fashioned "where there's a will, there's a way." And a "CAN DO" attitude that makes for a strong person and leader.
Those are great gift
I thinks these items are awesome!!! Nice job 👍🏽
Yaaaa, Josh. Love these gift idea vids. Keep it going!
Awesome job man!
Neat stuff. I would advise a larger cork for the spice jars because it will make loading and unloading easier.
Great projects especially the spice rack 👌
Wow! Your video just popped up in my feed today. You did a great job on all those projects. As a mom and gramma, I'd love to receive any of them as a gift! I subscribed as well. Can't wait to see what else you come up with!
