I always learn something super cool in your videos. I was just watching a bunch of your vids!
Super, New video to watch!
The miter saw bowl is another genius innovation by you. This is why I love your channel.
Magic👍
You tube needs an awesome button because this goes way passed like.
Was anyone thinking the block cut with the hole saw was looking like one of the artifacts in the movie The Fifth Element? I love that one.
You have such an amazing way of rethinking how tools and techniques can be used to create your art!! Keep the videos coming!!!
Great ideas. That miter saw bowl is genius.
This is great. The candle holder makes me want to find my maltipass.
Thank you for great gifts ideas
I appreciate it ✌😎
Very nice. You need some wood clamps for your drill press. May have to send some more patreon $. My girlfriend wants to make these. That's a good sign you are talented
Well done Josh! I’ve never seen a miter saw or hole saw used that way. Very clever!
Only you could throw up three projects nobody has ever seen before! Genius.
Wow simple but nice. The candle holder is my favorite
For cutting a cove, one can use a table saw as well. I have done it. Take your fence off and set up a wood fence at an angle. Then set you blade at 1/8 inch then make a pass and then move the blade up a turn. Do this a bunch of times until you are happy with the depth. You can make some really nice trim stuff with 2x4s, 2x6s as well.
i really like the candle idea and this could be used for the bottom of legs. I have a 6.25 hole saw that would work good for getting higher up on the leg. Super cool idea and look super good too. Nice Job Josh!
You sure inspire me to be more creative with limited materials!
WOW! The way you made that bowl was the neatest thing I have ever seen! Well done! You have such a creative mind!
Josh, I love these projects and I love to make things that you design. Your creativity astounds me on each of your videos. You are my proof that a woodworker does not have to have several thousand dollars of fancy equipment in order to make impressive projects. You're an inspiration to the many weekend/garage woodworkers out there.
Thanks for this and all of the other excellent videos.
Very cool
I save "scrapwood". NOTING IS SCRAP! Iv'e been teaching a small group to work wood and I can't explain how impotant it is to "SVAVE THE SCAPS". Great video,
Great video. Love how you explain all your steps
The long fence/stop block is a fantastic tip! I'll be trying the coving and bowl cuts too. Thanks a lot!
the tea candle light reminded me of one of the stones in The Fifth Element movie. 😆
Good stuff!! My guy, you gotta wear a proper respirator. A gator does nothing for the size of those particles. You only have one set of lungs!
That was really creative use of tooling for some of those, I wouldn't have thought to do some of that in a hundred years lol
Super cool. Love this series - even the ones that took longer because it's cool to see what you can make from construction lumber. I'll admit - I got a little nervous when you where holding that small block with your bare hand while using that forstner... I've had those things grab and rip wood out of my hand.
Thank you! I'll make sure to use a clamp next time
Love your creative use of the mitersaw. Ideal: a playlist full of creative use of all tools, esp table saw
Great ideas and tips..💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Great ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Great ideas.
Another awesome idea but u should really use a drill press vise or one of those wooden screw clamp
(8$ @harbor freight) to hold that small of a piece GOD forbid tht bit blows out amd shreds ur hand not trying to be safety police cuz I'm not perfect but I've had a drill press accident 6yrs ago and was doing something very similar.@3:15 .42 stitches and scarred for life. Thanks for sharing these stay safe!
Me: wanting to learn his technique. Also me: oh! His technique is just being better than me. Lol!
I am continually impressed with your creative ideas and videos. I really want to try the miter saw bowl. My 12” saw has a 1” arbor and my 10” blades have a 5/8” arbor. How did you solve this?
👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Hey Josh, very cool ideas! I especially love the little tealight lamp, I'm trying to make it but I'm stuck on making the curves with the hole saw. How does your arbor not have a centering bit? Did you cut yours short or something? If you could share that last bit of info, I'll be able to finish this excellent gift idea! Thank you!!! Thumbs up and subscribed!
11:58 You can use the tube Vanilla Pods come in for this.
Nice video. What is the Kreg slide thingy you were using on the table saw @ the .45 sec mark?
Did you mention running the hole saw in reverse? Prevents errant wood blocks from zinging across the garage.
does your drill press have a reverse?
@@hansdegroot8549 yes it does it’s a nova voyager DVR.
Small projects but big expensive machinery… Not for everyone! 😅. Great creativity though.
30 minutes? Took me that long to change my saw blade.
I’m going back yttr
I know "not your finger; not your problem" but jeez that hole saw and forstner work made me uncomfortable. Love the result though!
I absolutely love that little square light. You reckon I can do that using a 4x4? It's freaking awesome!
I really like your builds and videos. I see you using a Hercules miter saw,(Harbor Freight?) and was impressed that you didn't need to showcase a Festool product.
Do you have a list of your other tools? The crosscut fence on your table saw looks formidable.
Keep doing what you're doing!
