Let’s not forget the most heartwarming and breaking moment in the movie, where the two were drying under the Cyclops’ lamp.
While Spongebob laments at seemingly failing to reach Shell City, Patrick points out the literal Shell City sign, which provides Spongebob one last minute of pride in his and his partner’s efforts.
They’re drying up, but they sing the Goofy Goober song knowing that they did the impossible, and made it to Shell City, all because Patrick pointed out a sign.

Patrick has to be one of my most favourite Spongebob characters
This video was spot on for the most part. I disagree with “Ink Lemonade” being the main one. It should’ve been either one of the classic episodes featured: The Secret Box, Dumped, I’m with Stupid and/or Rock-a-bye Bivalve. Say what you want about classic era SB, it’s the most antagonistic era ever and Patrick was at his absolute worst after Valentine’s Day and that’s another one that should’ve been placed in the #1 spot too.
At least The most Satisfying thing in "Rule of Dumb" is When Squidward Pointing out that Patrick is No king and the Only King He'll be is King of Morons.

@Evie1228 He is, but the episode seemed more like it was intentionally tuning up Patrick's worst traits in service of making him the antagonist of the episode. More than anything else, it proves how stupid Patrick can be when he doesn't want to think, which probably also has something to do with why he chose to not show SpongeBob that he had multiple copies of that same exact card until the end of the episode (for some reason)
Patrick Star is a very funny character in the show. And he is very lucky to have a friend like Spongebob by his side.
Well, he’s admittedly a comic relief character, but his and SpongeBob’s friendship is far from healthy. His antics occasionally make SpongeBob cry and often makes bad situations worse.
When Patrick refused to share that toy, I wanted to jump into my tv, grab Patrick by his head, and start slamming him onto the ground multiple times like how Manray did to him back in season 2.

I gotta say for a villain Manray sure does have a lot of patience. He has far more patience than even me.
Patrick can be either a loyal friend for Spongebob or a terrible one intentionally. He's mostly a bad friend that will make his friendship with Spongebob worst either because he's stupid or a bad friend in general.

I always thought Patrick is a manipulative sociopath who cares for his friends but either doesn't understand or care what his actions bring to others for his amusement, I think he cares for his friends but again empathy might not register to him

Patrick is the best character. When he does bad things it can be hilarious or sad. When he was being smart it was kind of evil because he was insulting his friends but that’s one of the funniest episodes of all time 😂

I really miss Patrick in the earlier seasons. He was a lot more laidback and was willing to help out SpongeBob when he needed it. And he wasn't braindead stupid either just clueless at times but it was always played for laughs instead of it later being his character defining trait
Patrick would be considered as the family-friendly version of Peter Griffin from Family Guy. Both characters went through changes over the years.
Patrick was awful in s2-3 and the crew made him an antagonistic jerk for no reason.

Don't forget about that other time Patrick became a doctor, yes it's in The Splinter. Unlike in Suds with Patrick may be incompetent, but he still shows good intentions. In the case with The Splinter, Patrick's stupidity still shines through, and with none of the redeeming qualities. And not to mention how disgusting it is with Patrick driving the splinter further into SpongeBob's thumb, followed by him dropping garbage into it, causing a horrible infection. All of that while Patrick is boasting to SpongeBob about the knowledge he has, knowledge he completely lacks in.
Yup. The writers were on drugs during the dark era, but Nick is just as guilty for increasing the episode count since s6.

Megatron has done some good deeds in addition, albeit rarely.
I just knew Patrick's role in Ink Lemonade would have gotten the Gold Medal of Evil. If I knew it was on the list I would have bet plenty of money on it.
Near the end of the video I was scared they left it off but it absolutely earned the gold medal of evil.
Anyone who does something like that in real life should get the death penalty or at least 60 years in jail.

Well, either way, I'd let Patrick do that to Squidward since I hate Squidward for his terrible behavior, not to mention his evil actions towards SpongeBob and Patrick. No offense, but Squidward kinda truly does deserve to be terrified like that in Ink Lemonade, for what I mentioned above.

Patrick was much better in the early seasons. Before he tended to be a goofy idiot that does funny stuff that wasn't all harmful. But later on he became more of an arrogant jerk who hurts even his best friend SpongeBob.
Patrick was still a great character. And Rocky is the best pet alongside Gary.

You clearly didn’t see the worst moments showcased here. I agree with every single one of them when it comes to the overrated classic era (except for Nature Pants, but that’s another story). Patrick was horrible back then, you can blame the original crew for elevating his antagonism tenfold. Yes, the crew after s3 should’ve stopped that shit trend, I agree. But the original crew deserve every single blame here.

We all know he's the dimwitted, but well meaning best friend of SpongeBob and they are very inseparable, especially when he does good deeds for SpongeBob and everyone else. Honestly the worst deeds for Patrick and Mr Krabs are fairly familiar one another if you hear the term ink lemonade there's a likely chance you will make it somewhat familiar with one course meal considering both Mr Krabs and Patrick are on the faults of psychological torment and just like how Brad said Mr Krabs is a love to hate character Patrick is a hate to more hate character from the start he has different personalities and one of them involves psychological torment

I would not count the first one as a good deed, because of the way he only makes SpongeBob’s sickness worse by impersonating a doctor. Same goes for Patrick-Man!, as he doesn’t take into account that being a superhero isn’t as easy as he thinks; he just causes boneheaded moves to many people.
Honestly the deed I hated Patrick the most for was using forever glue effectively trapping SpongeBob in the wringer and then after SpongeBob got rightfully mad and yelled at him the townspeople call SpongeBob the bad guy.
Yeah! I really hate that moment. I feel really bad for SpongeBob in Stuck in the Wringer.😬

The Bikini Bottom Police are pretty terrible as well TBH.
I'd say Mr. Krabs is worse. I mean, I don't recall Patrick doing something like driving people to suicide or selling their soul for 62 cents.
Mr Krabs does very evil things for money.
Patrick is both a lovable goofball yet loyal friend, and a sociopathic moron. Many of his bad moments were all his own, as he clearly stated in one episode he does this nonsense just for kicks. But I would argue the Valentines Day disaster was on SpongeBob for not handling the situation well: sure Patrick went out of control over a forgotten Valentine, but SpongeBob didn’t even offer a decent alternative. They could’ve enjoyed the day at the Carnival if SpongeBob suggested it, rather than give that worthless handshake.
You can’t blame SB if he was doing his best with the stalling. Would it be fair to blame Sandy for the scallops schtick then? Probably not. But Patrick should’ve done better, SB didn’t place a gun on his head and say “go on a fucking rampage!!”, now did he? That marked a low point for Patrick, something that was heavily pronounced in the next two seasons.

It’s good. Patrick was not trying to steal Gary. He believed Gary wanted to say with him and was only trying to tell SpongeBob to let Gary choose and was sorry for SpongeBob.
