Nice! Well skied, particularly in those rowdy conditions. Last time I skied Lower Insanity 4 years ago, in much better (‘easier’) conditions, my skis tripped on some old semi buried heavy metal cables in that steep section at the end. Be careful, y’all! There may still be some junk in there.
You're right there is, good call. Im pretty sure its a winch cable for the cat to groom lower Dave.

Some gnarly skiing! May get the book but was wondering what glacier wall was ranked in the book?
These are some of the easy ones once we get into the thick of things it will get interesting for sure! Most of glacier wall are double blacks due to the very steep entrances and exposure.
