I don't think Andreas will come to Monaco, as Jon was looking for someone he can take with him when travelling, but that can stay home when they are in Monaco, as they don't really have much space in their flat. (But this was before Marcus left, so who knows)

Tim Lyons : Pretty sure their video explains it all. They could have slid down the cliff and died, or got so far lost without safety equipment and stranded overnight and died....could have fallen an injured themselves, no cell reception and couldn't ask for help....the list goes on.

The main thing the editor must achieve is getting that story feeling, keeping the watchers entertained til the end. Andreas make that like magic. This video isn't Jon's best piece, but certainly one that kept me amazed all the way up. Amazing job!!

this was by far the most insane and most nail biting vlog on youtube... and to see jon and warner highly skilled skiers stuck in that situation and still keep funny attitude.. its how its done never freak out. thats when it could get bad..

Here Jon with his friend were pretty close near disaster, makes Instagram-friendly thumbnail with the title: ''Lost in Whistler''. This is maybe the main reason why he still doesn't have 1 mil subs, but that is why I (and maybe most of the other viewers) like these vlogs so much :) Good luck guys and be careful.

Awesome vlog guys! But please guys be concious about the tracks you choose to go down. A friend of a friend (also a really good skiier) barely survived a trip like this in whistler last year. Please use the opportunity to educate your viewers about the danger that ensues in situations like this. It just seemed a little bit to happy, adventurous and fun.

First time ever watching a whole vlog more than once. Litteraly watched this vlog three times now and im so so so impressed with the editing. The music for each scenary is so perfect and creative and litteraly adds another dimension to the vlog. This vlog alone was better and more entertaining than any TV reality show out there.
THIS I've had my fair share of days just like this (I drove my parents crazy as a young skier) and I've living in nyc away from my skis this season. This just made me miss near death experiences and adventures so much haha (like not really but kind of). Missing my skis (and Whistler) SO much. Keep killin it guys! x

Take a look back to Vlog 268 (last time skiing in Canada, cloudy/foggy day as well). Just wondering, who else thinks that sound quality, color grading and editing were way better than in todays vlog?
You noob. The settings for audio and color correction with the LUT are the same. Different scenery, different outcome.

as long as its good content and good story telling, i dont mind the 8-12 minute vlogs
I think doing longer would just be impossible for them to edit in time, the videos are already amazingly edited

This was probably one of the bests vlogs I've ever seen and I've watched all of your vlogs, excellent job both editor and footage vise.
Awesome. Reminds me of my first day at Jackson Hole in 2001 riding with Guch and TRice. We traversed 45 min off the tram. I fell in a rock well and spent the next couple hours looking for a safe way down without falling off a cliff. Somehow I found them at kicker cliff. Loved he video and the Andreas input.

I Love the new editing style!! There's those little details you notice like when you came to the cliff and we're lost, there is some dramatic music in the background giving the moment a much more dramatic vibe. I also really like the talkovers, like when there is shoots of different stuff an Jon talking in the background. Makes it even more professional. Good work!! Both Andreas and Jon!'

I'm Swedish and can't ski. Only tried snowboard and cross country once.
Im still a bit sad with the evolution of the vlog. It now feels like an incredibly proffesional film production rather than a cozy and personal vlog vibe that Jon had going for him with marcus or alone. It feels rather cold now.
By far the worst parts are the transitions with the woosh sound and there almost constantly being music. Other than that, the vlog is PERFECT.
